this is why i don't prefer to sell my bitcoin. selling bitcoins at this time will give me some profit because when I get them the rate was around 500. but I think bitcoin price will go higher and higher so I prefer to old my coins for longer..

Every people has different preferences if they will sold their coins or not. Right now, I have some funds too which I bought back when the price is on $510.

As far as my trading analyzation is concern, it's not making sense if I will sold my coins at $600 today since with this slow price movement, we can expect a price rally thereafter. Just need of a little patience and extra funds to accumulate coins at any price dip.

If the price goes higher try to hold as much possible because price variations will lead you to get a good profit making when years pass.

I genuinely feel that selling bitcoins will depend on the price that we bought in the past, I bought when price was $300 last year so I don't think there is anything wrong in selling them at current price as its giving me double profits.

Agree ! We should base it in what price when we bought it . Just like his example $300 then now is $600 it is really the time to sell or if he want to wait more then its also good because price of bitcoin i think it will never be back at $300 So if you earn profit when you sell your bitcoin then its a good choice

If he is making double profits then I think there is no point in holding them longer, as price may go down in coming days and then he may need to compromise with his profits.

i think if the rate is good for me to sell, then i will sell it for make a good profit, but if i think its not good to sell, then i will hold it. i am not agree that we should never sell our bitcoin ever, because we don't know how long the rate will stay at that rate and when the rate will be increase, so for me, better to make a good profit with selling our bitcoin and then if the rate is down, we can buy it again with only small budget but we can get much of bitcoin. its just on my head and i don't with the others member.

People who believes in making quick profits will never prefer to hod their coins for a long time and they will sell as soon as they are making some profits from it and I think that is the right thing to do.

You should never sell your bitcoins because of the fact that the bitcoin is the currency of the future if you are asking me.

Thats exactly what i will do too, because i feel being too greedy always costs you so if you don't sell them when the price is reasonable by thinking that you will earn more profits later when the price goes higher and suddenly price drops back from where it was before and all the profit you could earn is gone now.

Yeah that is the case when you prefer to hold them for a long time and do not sell even when price is higher and allowing you to make profits and then price drops which will make you to wait again longer to earn profits.

I agree with your point that when you can purchase directly in bitcoins,why to convert it into fiat which may loose its value one day.
When you follow this method, since you hold bitcoins, when its price raises, your investment also increases.
the only problem is that everything cannot be bought by bitcoins.

Ive heard people describe gold in this way again its a hard point to get accepted or for people to consider real but it is probably true right now.    Every time you hear, oh gold went up 50 dollars today so  its more expensive.     What just happened really is gold, that inert yellow blob that sits does nothing, rusts not at all and isnt used alot just exists for centuries in rarity but desired value; that value of gold didnt change at all.  When gold goes up 50 dollars, the true meaning is the gold stayed the same value its had for years and dollars are worth less today.
  Same thing may occur in bitcoin and that will be a matrix moment, pivotal to its monetary velocity I think as the less people wanting or needing to convert back to dollars means bitcoin as a monetary base grows larger

Buying is always the best option nowadays, bitcoin is the most wonder crypto currency even created that's why no wonder it has millions of supporters and growing, we will surely be popular in the world and massive adoption will happen, it could happen that we do not need fiat and we will just rely our bitcoins to transact.

I think of course everyone wants to sell their bitcoin at the highest price. but I think everyone will not know when prices will stop rising and then down. if people know about it, of course there is no risk in investing in bitcoin, you must have a keen instinct to sell bitcoin

It is good to sell your bitcoin when you are making a profit already but you need to have a concrete plan and when the time comes that you see your desired price, you should sell it directly and do not be greedy if you do not want to end up losing or having a small profit.
