The worse mistake I did is when I bought shitcoins with my bitcoin then they turned into worthless.

i bought some dead altcoins which their price kept going down
and i lost half of my bitcoin investment so that is my mistake with bitcoin
Similar history was also with me too, i bought some altcoins that were introduced here, the beginning was good as the price was pumped but at the end the value ends at 1 satoshi
haha yeah sometimes I stepped on a mine, sometimes I miscalculated and choose the wrong coin
Sometimes I buy coins scam, but the loss is not too large

Indeed. I lost like more than 1 BTC because of shitcoins. From now on, I always be careful whenever I want to invest on altcoins.

Life sucks.

Bitcoin is the only solid altcoin. And even by an actve dev of other altcoin still it's not an assurance. Other altcoins are made to balance the crypto world and not on long term profit purposes.

Yeah I agree with the posting issue. Though you enjoy talking about bitcoin we should at least give some time for others to post their opinions. I am not against it just a little suggestion though.

Altcoins. Alternate coins = bitcoin alternative. Inspired from bitcoin.

I lost my btc over at hashie, scrypt.cc and ore-mine. Good thing though I only invested a little and I did claim some so its not a 100% loss. A loss is a loss still no matter how small.

Yeah even I got trapped in hashie. Did not invest much with them (0.1 BTC) but it's a waste.

I guess we have to find prinses elsa too before we go after big vern.

It is better to gamble rather then investing into a ponzi schemes, as you never know that if you are luck you might hit the jackpot, but loosing bitcoins in ponzi schemes is really hurting, while in gambling atleast you have opportunity to win some coins, I made mistake of investing into gambling.

Gambling, had a decent BTC stack at a time but went and gambled it (it was low value at the time), also saving some BTC in online wallets was a bad idea (Mtgox).

You need to use safe wallets as scammers and hackers have a close eyes on our hard earned coins and they would do anything to rob us in the best possible way, I haven't been scammed or robbed yet but yes at the initial stage I sent it to wrong address, though the amount was not too big, but I learnt from that mistake and now I check and recheck before sending bitcoins to any address.

lost in the trade are common, miscalculations and buy wrong altcoins, I experienced several times,
until my btc balance was reduced by 50% due to buy a lot of altcoins and the altcoins falls

The worst mistake what I have did was not reading some information about the person or reviews about it and just got scam. Also the worst mistake was is I wish that I knew bitcoin in year 2013.
So that now I have at least more than 15 bitcoins, but I haven't.

It looks that easy from the 2016 perspective. When I sold my 1BTC mined with HD6950 for 5$ in 2011 i was quite satisfied.

Really? Do you still satisfied after bitcoin price reached $1xxx in 2013?

Bitcoin could have been another stupid project, if they offer you some dollars for free, why not exchanging before it can become obsolete?
