India scored 399/3 as usual Virat out for only 6 runs, but shikar dhawan and C.Pujara have played responsibly and gave india a good start now 2nd day they have to score fast and declare the first innings after scoring 550+ above as i think from 3rd or 4th day the pitch will get more turn which will be good for 2 inning bowling.

India is holding a strong point right now and definitely ahead of Sri Lankans, if they manage to score 600-700 by tomorrow evening then there win is 90% sure.

after a long time, India performed very well at the very first day at abroad. basically, Both Dhawan and Pujara knocked two fantastic innings. bad luck for Dhawan who got out 190 runs, he really missed an easy chance to make it double. Hopefully, Pujara will stay more time and touch another double hundred milestones. hopefully, India will win this match.

England vs South Africa 3rd test will be starting tomorrow and by winning 1 each both teams have shown their power and will to win this series. Though England's moral of high we should never underestimate South Africa.

I did not know there is a match going on between India and Srilanka,India is on a very strong position right now on the first day as Dhawan scored a rapid quick hundred which helped India to reach 399 runs for the loss of just three wickets and it looks like India will win the match with the way the match is going.

Both teams are good so it all depends on who will perform better on a given day. I think both teams got equal chances to win this match even though England playing at home ground.

Indians scored exactly 600 and it'll be a tough task Sri Lankans to cross that score in less time. If India manages to take all wickets by tomorrow's day end then India will be having a huge benefit over Sri Lanka.

India batted well in 1st innings they made huge score 600 runs. Dhawan misses a double ton and superb batting from Pujara. in the end Hardik Pandya half century helped India team to score 600 runs. After batsman performance the bowlers did a fantastic job, they took five wickets for Sri Lanka in the score is 154 runs. Now, this match fixed India is going to win. I don't think that SL will come back in this test.

I don't get it, can't technology be used so that no-balls can be called by the third umpire? Bowlers and coaches should take some responsibility, I cannot recall ever having seen Anderson, for example, being no-balled, and broad seems to manage to keep his foot behind the line. Others, such as stokes, bowl more no-balls. Surely this could be eradicated in the nets, keeping part of your foot behind the line is just as important as control of line and length.

India is indeed in a very strong position. They should finish off the Sri Lankan tail in the morning and think about imposing the follow on.

I don't know why the schedulers of international cricket matches fix the matches without checking forecasts. Rain wasted most of the day in England and South Africa match. 171/4 is the score England has managed and I hope tomorrow will be a better day for the match.

Test match the most boring form of cricket there is t20 and even one day cricket then i don't get it why do teams play test match it is so boring it feels like it never ends . India continued their dominance in their first test , india trail by 446 runs which is not bad and if sri lanka continues to play like this india may most likely win the first series.
