Pakistan is not looking too good heading into the World Cup as Australia are dominating them in the current ODI series and have now won the series with two games to go. I thought that Pakistan bowled a lot better in this match but this time it was their batting that let them down thanks to a great bowling performance by Pat Cummins who also won the MOTM award.

The total was in their hands, but to them 266 was a little too much anyway. Pakistan has lost 3 consecutive ODIs against Australia, leads 3-0 which simply not good picture just before the world cup. Without playing consistent cricket there is nothing in your pocket except for disappointments.

LOL momentum is a big thing. Being in winning is the another one. Winning is a habit. The way Pakistan is playing I do not see they can do anything much in the worldcup too.

The national team is unable to play in home-grounds for almost a decade now. It is slowly taking its toll. The revenue is getting affected and the quality of domestic cricket is going down. If they continue to play their home matches in UAE, I don't think that the situation will improve.

Mickey Arthur and Inzamam-ul-Haq literally ruined the whole series; they should've squeezed each and every match of this series to get the best team combination for the world cup. Giving rest to captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan, and Hassan Ali makes absolutely no sense. Instead of rest, they should've been included in the playing eleven to get in-form and to get some momentum for the world cup. SMH. Moreover, the PCB needs to understand that it's NOT wise to put "raw" talent directly into international matches, and especially against the teams like Australia. WTH is Husnain doing in the team? He only got some speed - nothing else.

OTOH, this series will surely boost the confidence of Aussies for the world cup. Pakistan is probably going to get whitewashed by Aussies this time.

Prime Minister remarked during the start of the meeting that he has played cricket for 40 years hence he doesn't need any briefing on it.

The premier directed the PCB to structure the first class cricket as present in Australia with six teams.

He said that no country would be able to compete against Pakistan in cricket if the system he proposed is implemented in the country.

How that is going to work? And Gilgit-Baltistan is a remote area which does not have any proper cricketing infrastructure.

Absolute insanity. Can you mention why Asif was not present in the last couple of ODIs? An inexperienced Pakistan side against an experienced Australian side is seriously insane.

I like Imran Khan as a cricketer, but I don't trust him and he needs to keep his ego in check. Declaring that no country can compete with Pak after some changes is pure stupidity.

Dont see the population because even with 1 million or lesser population state can also produce a good sportman then highly populated state. It all depends on how much good cricket infrastructure is their and how the coach is performing in producing good results from the sports persons. So all depends on the coach and the players who are going to get trained under him.

That is a great point and I concur. Its all about the quality and not the quantity in this aspect.

Example: I have seen quality cricketers like Rashid Khan, Shahzad etc from a country like Afghanistan whose population is quite small.

Hey I feel Rajasthan deserved victory and what Ashwin did was completely against sportsmanship, imagine if England did this to the Indian captain Virat in the finals of the World Cup, would this yet be fair? I feel Rajasthan are a more balanced side, and after being robbed of victory in the last match they’ll surely win this. In my personal opinion you should reconsider and wait for the lineup and then only decide which team you wish to gamble on.

According to today's report it seems that Hyderabad side might have a change with Williamson coming back again in lineup replacing Bairstow.

This is going to be very interesting match and if Williamson is coming then surely SRH going with some good advantage as he is very good player and in good form SRH playing this match at home and RR was unlucky in last match so we can say any body game.

By the way, what do you think about the Pakistan vs Australia Match. Australia is looking to build up the innings every time but then they lose wicket. So far, Pakistan done well today. If they can restrict Australia in 250 runs then game on for them.

Without Malik team is better I think :-)

I doubt that they can restrict Oz under 250. Maxwell is in good form and looking in good touch today. If Maxwell stays there till 50 over then they can cross 270-280 too. Pakistan need his wicket at any cost.

Malik is one of my fav players because he brings stability in the middle order ( especially against India) Don't know why he's out, may be rested? according to me, he's the sanest team player in Pak's squad
