The other countries are not comfortable with the higher share given to the BCCI. They argue that every other sports body treats the nations equally and there should not be any discrimination in cricket as well.
From what i understand the majority of the revenue that ICC earns comes with the help of India and so is the reason they are having some voice when it comes to these allocation, i want to see India and Pakistan play cricket as it was once the most anticipated series after Ashes but the political intervention and their political tensions deprived the fans from watching these high octane matches and if it was any other country i am sure the ICC should intervene.

Oh.. not again. We had hundreds of posts here discussing a resumption of cricketing ties between India and Pakistan. But we needs to be realistic. To be honest, I don't think that a bilateral series between these two nations will happen during the next 10-15 years. As of now, these two teams are facing each other in the ICC tournaments and I guess we should be happy with these matches.
This is good now we need to close this chapter as its already too much talked and have very complicated situation better now we talk about current cricket as tomorrow we are going to have another very exciting twenty/20 match between South Africa vs England.

Being a non-pakistani and a non-indian cricket fan, it clear as air the cricket council is centered towards BCCI. Largely could be due to the monetary value the Indian fans hold.
This is hurting the adoption of cricket in the long run. Though they have softened for associate teams, they are still not as friendly as any other sports community is.
They are even boycotting a major team due to political influence of BCCI. That is the last thing people would expect from a game that calls itself a gentlemen sport.

Politics and money were always associated with sports. Without money big sporting events cannot be organised nor without governement authorization. BCCI is not holding the cricket council. It is a democratically operated council. Adoption of cricket is going as the way it should, Indian board is not stopping any country to play cricket.
BCCi is most rich board in cricket just because of this they have some strong influence on ICC but they have no power to stop any country from playing cricket but they are disturbing things very badly which is very bad political and economical influence happend in sports but not like this as they are doing right now just dual policy and dirty politics nothing else.

BCCI does not have a foreign policy, it only follows the rule of governed by ICC and the government of India. It does not have the power to change the rule anywhere niether can it create one. Then how is it possible for BCCi to create bad political influence. Economically every organization or a country will influence if it is rich as compared to other. There is nothing new of what is happening and I am sure you must have read a lot about Apple and USA as an example.

I am not a big fan of BCCI. It has been under the control of powerful politicians and businessmen, who care only about profits. But at the same time, it is not right to blame them for the cancellation of bilateral tours between India and Pakistan. In India, the public opinion is not in favor of any renewed sports relations with Pakistan. So there is not much the BCCI can do about it.

Sorry to say but you do not know anything about BCCI. Gone are those days when politicians and powerful eterprenures were controlling cricket in india. As of now, after the Supreme court's verdict BCCI is controlled by the veterans of Indian cricket team. Thise politicians and so called powerfull people were forced to resign. That is why BCCI has Sourav Ganguly as the chaiman rather an unknown name.

Just google it and you will know what changes have happened?

There have been some changes, but I don't necessarily agree with your post. Saurav Ganguly is the BCCI president and he is not affiliated to any political party (although he has been linked to the ruling party in the past). But politicians and businessmen still hold some of the important positions. For example, Rupa Gurunath (daughter of N Srinivasan) is the president of Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA). Jay Shah, the son of Indian home minister is the secretary of BCCI and Arun Dhumal (brother of minister Anurag Thakur) is the treasurer.

Yesterday Nepal bowled out the United States for just 35 runs in an ODI match (which was part of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2). I didn't saw any posts mentioning that match here. This was the lowest ever score by any team in the history of ODI cricket. Sandeep Lamichhane picked up 6 wickets and Nepal chased the target in less than 6 overs.

Lamichhane missed very important matches for his franchise side (Melbourne Stars) in the BBL, as he chose to represent his national side. And looks as if his decision was the right one.

I made the comment again simply because i am not aware what is going on between both these two nations behind the scene with other sports and recently i saw a comment that other than cricket the rest of the sports both Pakistan and India does not have a problem playing and with that new revelation i made that comment and if the ICC intervene like they did with Zimbabwe when they sanctioned them because of political intervention then i am sure we will have a solution.

Politics is interlinked with sports nowadays and my personal opinion is that you can't just put the blame on cricket. Other sports are also not free from the influence of politics. Russia was banned from Olympics for the use of Meldonium, while the American gymnast Simone Biles (who won the gold) was let scot free for the usage of the same drug. The excuse given that she needs the medication for her ADHD medication. How bizarre this sounds? Who needs a performance enhancing drug such as Meldonium to treat ADHD? And similarly, Russian Maria Sharapova was banned for the usage of Meldonium, while the Williams sisters tested positive for it and yet faced no action against them.
There is a major difference, the Russia teams was banned because it was revealed that it was a state sponsored drug abuse to enhance the performance of the athletes and the drugs the rest of the athletes you mentioned used were due to medication reasons and not to especially enhance their performance and that is a major difference. I am not claiming that these drug testing are perfect but there is a difference between both these cases.

Your point is very good and you can understand this all what happening here other sports are not profitable like Cricket in this region and most of other sports have not big influence India have in Cricket so they are all going ok but in cricket there is too much influence so they don't want to give any good and positive way to Pakistan for benefit but now these all things are like crap so better please stop and enjoy game and other things which are better then this topic.

There was no proof presented to this claim (that the Russian officials asked their athletes to take Meldonium). And the case in involving Simone Biles was very shady. She never revealed that she was taking Meldonium until the moment she got caught. And then she claimed that she was taking it for ADHD. But as far as I know, Meldonium is not used to treat ADHD anywhere in the world. My point is very simple. Russia was banned because the Americans were afraid of the competition (both in women's tennis and Olympics). And for me, Maria Sharapova is much superior to the transgender tennis players from the US.

The ICC will never intervene as they stand to earn more from one off India vs Pakistan matches, and if matches continuously happened then the hype surrounding these two nations matches would fade away and their revenues too could be effected. However let’s hope in the upcoming T20 World Cup these two nations face each other again, because if they do then we all can win big money thanks to India’s unbeaten record against Pakistan in World Cup matches.

For the ICC, it is somewhat beneficial not to have a bilateral series between India and Pakistan. If there is a bilateral series, then obviously the revenues will go to BCCI and PCB. On the other hand, if India and Pakistan plays against each other only in the ICC tournaments, then ICC will be getting the lion's share of revenue. I strongly suspect that this is one of the reasons why ICC is not pushing hard here (anyway even if ICC puts pressure on BCCI, I don't think that it is going to have any impact).

I am not in the same sort of thinking as the ICC would earn the proceeds if Pakistan and India play a bilateral series and after Ashes Pakistan and India series will give them the maximum revenue and there is no way the ICC would restrict them, from what i understand the issue is between Pakistan and Indian political structure and so is the reason we are not seeing a series between them and nothing else.

Today was holiday for me and I was desperately searching for a live cricket match. Despite having almost a dozen sports channels in India, only one of them was showing a live match (Ranji Trophy match between UP and HP). I watched the match for around 1 hour and by that time Himachal Pradesh bowled out UP and won the game. The players were mostly unknown, and the crowd attendance was very thin. I am really bothered that despite being a cricketing super-power, the domestic matches in India don't get any attention from the fans, unlike the case with county cricket in England and Sheffield Shield in Australia.

No one follows these matches and i am surprised that you are interested in these matches and have free time to watch them. Only the nationals of Nepal or USA will be interested to watch this match. Rather than watching matches between these unpopular teams, it is better to watch any other sports.

This is one of those rare days when you do not find any cricket match. Since the introduction of leagues, there is always some cricket going on somewhere but today there is no match. India is playing with New Zealand XI but the game for the day is over.

^^^^ The tour might have got delayed, but it is very encouraging sign that a non-Asian team has agreed to tour Pakistan. I hope that very soon the big 3 teams (Australia and England) would also consider touring the country. For some years now, the ground situation in Pakistan has remained peaceful. I won't be even surprised if Pakistan wins the hosting rights to some of the ICC tournaments.

Even if the series is delayed the idea of South Africa willing to tour Pakistan is a really good sign for the cricket fans in Pakistan,Sri Lanka visited Pakistan and then Bangladesh and if South Africa will accept their invitation to retrieve the cricket back in the country then it is another step for Pakistan to bring back cricket back to its home soil and now PSL will be conducted in Pakistan than in neutral grounds we used to see in the past and now Dale Steyn has shown interest and will be participating in the tournament and in a couple of years Pakistan cricket will be back hosting majority of the nation if everything goes smooth.

Sometime for talk all is ok but in practically its not sound good as today we have very big blast in Quetta with some good number of casualties this is big problem as we feel all is ok something wired happen lets see what happen in next few days but good thing we already finished Kabbad World cup very good but still its serious problem which needs to solve as soon as possible.
