It's not just about the coins, it's about the asset info.

It's not just about the coins, it's about the asset info.

So the coins are all 100% returned and accounted for Huh

Forgive me but I took a break from this madness but I am really curious as to the state of GLBSE

No, I don't think all the coins are returned either, I probably would have known. I got all my approx. 0.5 BTC back though.

I already checked the phonebook of london but his name seems to be very usual. And its not sure that hes in the list. I mean you dont have to be in the list if you dont want to.

I didnt get an answer from BCB yet. Im not sure if he can help here.

So i think ill try to find out some phonenumbers at his old place so that i can ask there if someone knows his new address. Or i check out the james mccarthy in london. Maybe he wasnt paranoid and is in the list. While the chance to speak him personally probably isnt very high.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Yes, it's a common name, but my above post was meant as a step-by-step instruction on how to narrow it down to two names.. If he doesn't hide his ip he probably doesn't hide his phone number.

Even if 100% of the coins were returned, the asset info is worth more than all the coins on their own.

To James McCarthy (a.k.a) Nefario (a.k.a) Satoshi Nakamoto

This is such a huge insult to Satoshi, it's not even funny.

No one knows what was in Satoshi's mind.
He created Bitcoin out of thin air, then used electricity power to give back support.

I lolled. If it turns out a barely articulate dood hailing from some London slum came up with the original protocol in spite of not knowing what arbitrage is, we know for a fact we're stuck in a play and the world is a stage.

Hey, dishwara, there is a monstrous difference between the one who successfully prepared sophisticated concept, mechanism and protocol of Bitcoin, and the one who has difficulties even with payouts to users (doing it slowly and with mistakes), not to mention of the assets data.

Ofcourse their is HUGE difference.
Thats why this same forum let a single person to scam half million Bitcoins
A single address holding half million coins.

"the one who successfully prepared sophisticated concept, mechanism and protocol of Bitcoin" -Pirateat40, who is a born scammer, made many scams before,
still, welcomed with RED carpet & given half million coins as GIFT.

EDITed for ZERO errors.

10 million coins were mined. Half a million is 5%, not half.

PS. I didn't get the coins I had on GLBSE.

I got double payment (some miserable less-than-a-bitcoin vs the 400+ I invested) but no email asking me to return that tiny amount.
And no, it's not in my spam folder.

This is one of those troubled times where you can tell honourable men from douchebags.
I think the douchebags here - Nefario and the people who are protecting his identity, whatever their purpose - are just hoping the whole matter will be forgotten over time... and sadly in the long run they might be right.

As many of you, I don't have time/resources to dedicate into starting a potentially long lasting lawsuit with an uncertain outcome, lawsuit which could also get me into trouble. My country's government is taxing investments in stock.

But it would make me feel much much better to have a chance to look at James straight in the eyes and hear what he has to say.
Flying to London is relatively unexpensive to me, and I could use a weekend to do some shopping over there.
So I can be in UK some time next month. Can you give me his contact details? I'd love to meet him.

There was nothing sophisticated about pirate's scam.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.
