Nefario is still working: I've received email from James regarding double payment (yes finally) with personal address to send the excess coins.
Transaction made!!! Will let you know when my assets are with the issuers.

Do you mean thousands of coins to be paid out by Nefario or just thousands of coins in form of GLBSE assets to be released by passing the data to the issuers?
I am talking about direct BTC deposits. I thought this was common knowledge, I know at least one account with thousands stuck in there. Don't take my word for it if you don't want to; I won't disclose the user here. It had been mentioned in a forum post though. But I never saw anyone declaring he was waiting for a hundred BTC or more. People are ranting here for a few BTC or less, not received by them.
My guess is, people who have more in there are much more careful about what they do and have no time nor reason to come rant here. |

Without reliable public claims we cannot determine if there are thousands of BTC unpaid or not. But look at what Nefario announced today: Next steps
I'm going to be going over emails I've gotten in the last couple of days from people who havn't been able to access their account (lost their password or 2fa), and a few other asset holders issues.
The next update on those lists will be tomorrow (Sunday), following that I'll be doing more payouts(several have been done over the last week).

I just received an email from James McCarthy.
I had been sending him and email weekly stating that I had still not received the balance of my account (a moderate sum.)
The email was as follows:
"Hi Q.
payments are being made tonight and tomorrow.
"
We will see if he comes through.

He got the scammer tag for selling shares in his company, and then not honoring the agreement he made with shareholders. Specifically, unilaterally ceasing operations of BitcoinGlobal without shareholder consent. Even if his "cleanest shutdown in the history of Bitcoin" eventually ekes through on the good side of scammer, it doesn't change his actions toward the shareholders. |
