Anytme you expect  Napoli to win, that's when they'll kill your expectations, if not for the penalty goal their star player Victor Osimhen scored I wonder if they could scored any goal in the match, their fans would be let down by the team cause they had the opportunity to be in the top 4 but they've wasted the opportunity and have been overtaken by Fiorentina,the game would soon come to an end and still same scoreline, i doubt if Napoli would be able to get an equalizer to atleast draw the match.

Great work from Romelu Lukaku and the entire Roma team. The Belgian got a brace proving again that he still has much to offer to football. The Jose Mourinho side has recovered from an initial slow start and has now moved to tenth position. The club is now well-positioned to compete in European competition this season. I mean probably everyone here knows this, but even if you are a professional athlete (and probably specially if you are a professional athlete) recovering from an injury is a tough thing, and should be considered something that takes time, and when you are sitting at home, trying to nurse back to health, not only you gain weight and go out of shape, but even walking up the stairs becomes a tough task.

So, after you are fully healed, you need to do a lot of cardio and stretching and many other simple stuff that could make you get back into shape. This allows players to be able to play for 90 minutes again, or even if not the full time, just play whatever minutes given. He wasn't ready back at Inter, but now he is fully ready thanks to this summer and working out, so he is doing great, I believe he would have done great if he was on Inter this year too.

But Napoli failed to live up to our expectations. They totally let us down. The performance of Napoli players in the home match was not as good as expected.

In the end, Napoli lost the match 3-1. Fiorentina played well in this match we have to admit. They kept their defence strong and attacked. With the win in this match, Fiorentina are now fourth in the points table and Napoli fifth. Fiorentina and Juventus are now level on points. Serie A has been very crowded and competitive this season.

I don't know whether this is just luck for Fiorentina because based on statistics the two teams played evenly but 2 goals in the second half were really beyond our expectations even though we hope Napoli will do it lol, now with the addition of 3 points Fiorentina takes over 4th place and Napoli broke their good record in the previous 2 matches.

Roma seem to have recovered. With today's win they have won 2 in a row for the first time this season. Although they didn't dominate the game, they managed to win the match. It was Cagliari who had more possession and put more pressure on the hosts, but they struggled to find goals. Lukaku scored 2 goals and Parades was the star of the game, but it was not difficult for Roma to beat their opponent away from home.
Last season's champions Napoli suffered their 2nd defeat in the league as of today. They didn't put up much of a fight against Fiorentina, the team in form of late. There is a general lack of form in the Napoli team and they need to solve it as soon as possible. The difference between them and last year's Napoli is clear and visible. Fiorentina is definitely not an opponent to be taken lightly, but I don't think Napoli can lose to Fiorentina with the way they played last year.

The owners of Napoli do not look to be very interested in winning the title this season because I feel like they contributed in creation of many of the internal problems limiting the teams performance, some players in the team have not been kept happy. If Victor Osimhen did not score the penalty today, maybe another video of him being another kind of nut would have been made and allowed to even be post. The Italian league this season is between AC Milan and Inter Milan, they are already battling for it.

This is a big problem for Napoli as they still can't maintain the consistency they should be able to.
The chances they got in this match as well as seeing this on target indicates that their performance has decreased drastically compared to last season. There is work that Garcia still has to continue to fix in this case because looking at Napoli's current condition they do not have a problem in terms of fitness but their teamwork is not very good and many opportunities are wasted which actually benefits their opponents.
This is their second defeat and if we compare it with last season it means that in the first 8 matches this season Napoli have lost half of their total defeat last season.

Napoli's performance this season in Serie A seems to be faltering because they won in the previous match and failed again in today's match. The defeat at home was unexpected, especially with a score of 1-3. I think Napoli will not be able to show their consistency in Serie A like they did in the previous season. Spalletti's departure was very difficult for Napoli because only he could raise the enthusiasm of Napoli players to win the Scudetto. Rudi Garcia was increasingly under pressure in his first season with Napoli due to unstable performance in Serie A which made Napoli fail to stick closely to the top ranked teams.

In fact, Osimhen experienced a quite sharp decline in performance this season because he was so active in scoring goals and helping Napoli win last season but this season he failed to do so. Moreover, in the previous week we saw an internal problem between Osimhen and Napoli because of a video uploaded on TikTok by Napoli. I was lucky in today's match because I bet on Fiorentina winning. Wow, that's quite a difficult thing for me to do in my betting because I have to choose an opponent who really isn't a favorite to beat the defending champion. Napoli are inconsistent and I predicted that. Their balance of power is no different to last season but without spalletti they wouldn't be able to do it.

A good win for Fiorentina because they managed to shift Napoli ranking and sit in the top 4 this week. Fiorentina must get used to this and must be ready to fight stronger in every match to be able to achieve maximum results in every match. Fiorentina are very strong on the front line this season because they have scored 18 goals in 8 matches and are also often unstable in their defense which Vincenzo Italiano must resolve quickly. However, statistically, Fiorentina have only lost once, which is quite a good record for them this season. I think they must be able to maintain their best form in the upcoming matches.

According to statistics, yes, both teams played balancedly. Napoli has no problem with the attack, they had good attacks, they were a little unlucky in my opinion, and Fiorentina defended really hard to avoid conceding a goal, they did not break the line at all. Napoli cannot play the same defense this year.

The departure of Kim Min Jae affected them greatly. The defense system is not like last season. Teams that could not become champions for a long time lose their desires after becoming champions, it is very difficult to see Napoli's desires last year, that is why I do not trust this team this season.

Shockingly to many football faithfuls across the globe, Fiorentina defeated Napoli today at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium in Naples. After Napoli lost their last midweek UEFA Champions League game against Real Madrid, I was of the opinion that they were pick all three points from the  league game against Fiorentina but little did I know that the visitors had another plan for their hosts.
Rudi Garcia I think is doing his best for the club but the club isn't performing as good as they did last season under Luciano Spalletti.

Roma are on the rise while Napoli are the other way around these days. This time Roma destroyed Cagliari away by 4-1. It was like nearly all of their shots on target ended up with goals. This must be their most efficient game in the season so far. It must be the same for Lukaku as well as he scored 2 goals.

He has reached 5 goals with this performance in the league. It looks like he can really have a productive season with Roma no matter what they do. He is really doing great in Italian football rather than the Premier League. It is the best for him to stay here as long as he wants and leave for Saudi Arabia at one point.
