The best performance I saw from Union Berlin was in the first weeks of the last season when Union Berlin was even on the top side of the Bundesliga and racing for the title with teams like Dortmund and Bayern Munich but we know a team like this could never have the enough potential to race with the top teams and now in this season I think Union Berlin is not in the good situation and Union Berlin is trying to get back in the good form but based on what Isaw from this teams against Real Madrid I can say Union Berlin is far from what they should be.

Union fell well below expectations this year. Personally, I was disappointed while watching them. While we think they can be better, they are in 15th place in the Bundesliga. They were eliminated from UCL. It's a very sad season but now it's time to start over. They should concentrate on the league again and start to rise.

Well they've tried their best and it got them that far, too bad it wasn’t enough to see them to the next round and right now they have to come back home and focus on performaning better in their domestic league and see if they’ll get another chance in the Champions league, it's a good thing they've tasted a little experience of what the UCL is all about and it would guide then when next they qualify for the tournament.

Yes, I absolutely agree. We should not rush into making any decisions. There is still a long time to go in this season, anything can still happen. Who knows, maybe Bayern Munich will actually see a drop in performance and Bayer Leverkusen will actually be able to win the Bundesliga title. But the opposite thing can also happen. But so far I am not expecting anything from any other team, especially Dortmund. They are really inconsistent and they also do not have the performance on which we can say that they will improve. Seems Union Berlin have return back to quit well performance in domestic league, after eliminating in Champion League they will focus how to defend their position in Bundesliga and out from relegated zone. Winning against Borussia Mönchengladbach last match become capital for Union Berlin focus upcoming match and try to get three points against VfL Bochum. Actually I wasn't expecting so much from union Berlin in the champions league because I know they don't have the much experience to have gone far enough in the champions league, the competition in the champions league is o much that they needed more than their regular performance and form to be able to contend well enough amongst other teams in the league to be able to still stay in the League.

Moreover Union Berlin was in a group where they had well experienced team in the champions league and also a several times winner of the champions league, so I wasn't expecting union Berlin to do any better than real Madrid or Napoli, as a matter of fact union Berlin is literally struggling in their domestic league so definitely the pressure at the UCL was such that they couldn't hand just in a short period of time we'll enough to get pass the group stage, I would have taught they would have a chance at the third place so they could still participate in the europa but then Braga turned out a better contender.
