Bayern Munich is still four points behind Leverkusen after yesterday's victory, Leverkusen was able to still maintain the top position and now with a good point difference but it's still not enough to get relaxed because I think after this win Bayern Munich just got, they may get back on their winning ways and that will mean Leverkusen have to maintain winning to stay ahead.

There are still many matches left in the league and Leverkusen is required to be able to play more aggressively to maintain their points advantage in the standings over Bayern Munich. Leverkusen had the opportunity to widen the gap from Bayern Munich when they were beaten by Frankfurt, but unfortunately Leverkusen was only able to draw against Stuttgart and now the two have a difference of four points but Bayern Munich has not yet entered its 15th week.

Leverkusen have got the point advantage while Munich have the goal advantage but in reality the point advantage still stands out because that will be the main determinant for the champions but the goal advantage comes in only when  there's a tie to be broken at the end of the league, the league have already gone halfway but then there's still room for improvement and it's not time yet to keep eyes off guard els at the tail end of the league another team can just come and displace others from their position and top the table to become the champions.

This is not a good scenario to expect to win based on the number of goals or the fewest goals conceded by the opponent because it will be quite risky when one of the last matches fails because they have the same points. Leverkusen needs to prepare a much more convincing scenario where they have to play consistently so as not to be chased by Bayern Munich. So far Leverkusen's performance has been quite impressive and Xabi Alonso can really utilize the players he has to compete to break Bayern Munich's dominance and maybe we hope he is able to finish the season by continuing to win so that there will be a new record in the Bundesliga.

Sometimes, a big team needs to lose to their matches to some lower teams to be able to be figure out where they're not getting it right and I think Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel took many lessons from his sides humiliating defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt last two weeks. Well last season, Bayern was without Harry Kane and they still won  the Bundesliga trophy, no doubt Harry Kane is a very good finisher and a good addition to the squad, but Bayern had survived last season without his presence in the team, therefore I think the person who made a statement of Bayern Munich not in a good position in the standings without Harry Kane, wrong.
