Maybe it's true that Dortmund has to look for a new coach to replace Edin Terzic because this will only make them fall further behind the other teams at the top of the standings.

Such a significant distance from Leverkusen is impossible for them to catch up and perhaps finishing in the top 4 is the best for this season. Even though we cannot deny that last season was quite a dark fact for Dortmund, they must immediately recover. Mainz played very well in this game. Dortmund has very poor defensive line. It was dominating the ball possessions, but it meant nothing for the club. In fact, dortmund and mainz have been having almost the same goal attempts being made during the game.

Football can be unpredictable just as you said because in 2021 Chelsea had a similar situation and struggled in the league but to our surprise they went on to win the Champions League, they ended the season on 10th position if i am not mistaken and for lifting the trophy that was how they qualified for Champions League the following season. They later won the Super Cup and Club World Cup as well.

The problem could be from the dressing room, could be the coach or players and it could be a streak of bad luck, whatever it is they need to figure it out and fix it asap.

This is the true definition of team loyalty. Spending 25 years and your entire career in the same club is uncommon nowadays. Even Messi had to leave Barcelona at some point to play for other teams in other leagues. Muller was a great player at Bayern Munich throughout his career, and he was never a second-choice striker until old age caught up with him. He is still contributing to the team and playing well. I assumed that when his contract expired, he would not renew it and would either retire from football or join a smaller club to end his career. It is normal for fans to get emotional when their team is not performing well, especially when their team is the favourite to win a match and they fail to deliver,  they begin to find fault and would even go to the extent of calling out players and backlashing them on social media, just like most United fans did to Harry Maguire last season. I think all those abuse and back lash of coaches and players by fans is not really necessary cause it could help kill the confidence level of the team.

Its been a rough few matches for Dortmund fans, right? Our team's inability to capitalize on home advantage is disappointing. I thought we would have won against Mainz, but it was a disappointing tie. We dominated possession and had seven shots on goal, but only one converted. Our Dortmund isnt like that.

This shouldn't be considered surprising for anyone  if they followed his records set in the Premier League every season before leaving for Bundesliga.
This is a player that scored 20+ goals for Tottenham Hotspur every season for Tottenham Hotspur in the last six seasons. I don't even see him chasing no record, he's busy doing what he does best for his club. Succeeding as a center forward for Bayern Munich shouldn't be one difficult thing. It'll be easy for any food striker to score goals because they have very good and pacy winger's. ( Gnabry, Sane and the french man and World Cup winner Kingsley Koeman ) they be making creativity and assisting Harry Kane.

I so think they need more creativity and productivity in midfied, I hope to also see some players who are eager for that. Either of Goreztka or Kimmich needs to leave the club.
