Currently Dortmund may seem like they are having a bad time with their performance so far and it's almost looking like they will not be able to make bit to the next UCL because even in the bundesliga they are literally struggling to get to top four which is one sure guarantee o securing a spot at the next UCL.

Borussia Dortmund have not won a game in six matches in all competition. So I agree that they have not been putting up a good performance currently. Six positions in the Bundesliga and a Champions League second-round qualification is not an awful performance for a team that is not as rich as other top clubs in Europe. The club still has the potential and opportunity to make it to the top four and I think that Edin Terzić's focus will be to win the games against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League second round.

Still drawing with minimal losses is still a sigh of hope that they have still got some good chances of improvement, their next four fixtures doesn't seem like tough Ones which I personally see as an opportunity to be able to make up for the draw down they have had all this while so it's very possible they can get back if they are able to win all four games that a guaranteed 12 points which will definitely help them secure a spot at the top four positions on the table before the season ends so there's definitely still much hope for Dortmund if only they brace up at the time.

It seems that the management of the club understands that the club needs to do more if they will at least quality for the Champions next season and also make some impact in the currency campaign this is why they have just appointed Nuri Şahin and Sven Bender as assistants to coach Edin Terzić. I don't remember a team that had a season as surprising as Borussia Dortmund. Maybe Stuttgart may be providing this in a positive sense because they are better than expected, but in a negative sense I think one of the biggest surprises belongs to them. Stuttgart and Leipzig will continue to try to assert their position in the top four, because they also want to experience the atmosphere of the UCL next season.

Dortmund have to do something, I mean looking for a solution in the transfer window if they want to appear consistently, using the existing players alone, which in my opinion is not enough to compete in the second half of the season. Yes, maybe it is too early for us to speculate about where Cabi wants to go because this will be a long season for Cabi while he is at Leverkusen. Personally I think we got used to see Dortmund a very strong force in Bundesliga but lately they are not so strong at all and they also need to change a few players withing their squad because it's clear that something is not working.

It sometimes looked close, but Dortmund never won it. Now it is beginning to get serious for Dortmund and they have four games now that are rather easy and should be won.

They were only able to compete to be runners-up and were never able to beat Bayern Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga competition. Last season was the biggest opportunity for Dortmund to take over the Bundesliga title, but in the end they gave up the title to Bayern Munich in the last match at home and this is really embarrassing in my opinion.

If they don't at least get 10 points out of those four games, I doubt that this is going to end with the qualification for the Champions League this year. They have all the hard games towards the end of the second half of the season and I doubt that they will win a lot of those games against teams like Stuttgart, Bayern or Leverkusen.

What Xabi has done with Leverkusen is amazing. Look at him, still undefeated and broke a few Bundesliga records. He is above Bayern Munich in Bundesliga which is not an easy thing to do. It is extremely difficult. Bayern Munich has lost one more match than Xabi and drew 1 loss which puts them 1 point behind them. He has done an amazing job in the Europa League as well, going undefeated.

But the thing is I don't think they can keep their lead for long against Bayern Munich. They are the giants of Bundesliga and it is very hard to keep leads against them. But if they keep this kind of consistency, I don’t think Bayern can do anything about it. I think it will all come down to the match between Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich in February. That will determine who will get the championship. As for the Europa League, teams like Liverpool are a big threat for them. They are doing very well at the moment and can even beat everyone. So let's wait for the season to finish.

It is a shame that De Ligt rarely gets the trust of the Munich coach, even though De Ligt's game determination is quite capable at domestic league and Champions League level.

They have failed to win any of their last 6 matches in all competitions which is very bad for a team that almost won the league last season although they have not lost many matches but they draw too much and it is the reason they don’t find themselves in the top 4. Dortmund are better than this and they need query themselves and do better because we all thought after a wonderful display and challenge for the title last season we would see a more determined team that will try and win the league again. They are far from winning the league but they can try and secure a spot in the top 4 to qualify for the next season champions league.

Title race is not possible anymore for the dortmund with the current situation. Dortmund has a very big gap toward the leader of bundesliga right now. The thing that makes me doubt how can dortmund perform better in UCL rather than in bundesliga?

Actually Xabi Alonso had less experience during his first season as Bayern Leverkusen coach but management still gave him confidence, Alonso come from academy of Real  Sociedad manager and Leverkusen management no doubt with his reputation when active as player but first season achievement make him will get more extend contract with Bayern Leverkusen in the future exactly with teams performance in this season still unbeaten. Xabi Alonso without doubt was earlier rumored to be the young manager that'll be replacing Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti when he eventually leave the Santiago Bernabeu club next summer but just few days ago, the Italian manager Ancelotti extended his contract with Real Madrid to 2026 to which. I think I said this before, but they didn't lose the title in the last match at home, they lost the title in a dozen of matches they should have won or tied before the last match was played. Dortmund is just not good enough and it has been like that for a while now. They have good weeks and then it looks as if they were able to break Bayern's dominance, but then the disappointment is so huge that nobody can trust their eyes what's happening. The last game last season was only the tip of the iceberg. The whole drama enfolded over the course of the whole season.

Bayern Munich recently are now linked with a move to sign Portuguese player Joao Palhinha a player who currently plays for Fulham in midfied. It is very doubtful if Joshua Kimmich will go to Barcelona because Barcelona has no enough money to pay his transfer fees and salary.
