I very much agree with your opinion. Even though Leverkusen currently leads the standings, we can see that Munich has a winning mentality and is a good team. You can see last season where they ultimately became champions even though they had the same number of points as Dortmund. Leverkusen has played quite solidly this season, but for me the presence of a world-class striker will really have a big influence on the team's consistency in playing in the League.

However that seems to be true as bayern munchen do have the ability to get back on top of the bundes league table with their experience and winning mentality so far bayern munchen have been in the league, yes like before when dortmund were fierce competitors of bayern munchen, and were almost beaten by dortmund, but got back, thus getting the bundes league trophy again.

Personally I've still not put any form of certainty on any one to win the league title yet, regardless of how well some teams have performed because I know until the last two weeks of the league, there are still too many uncertainties and so much can change before then and teams will possibly loose form while the others may possibly gain more form aswell.

It's possible Bayern Leverkusen loose form after the winter break and it's still very possible  they will maintain their form knowing how much of a chance they have currently and are not willing to loose form and losses the opportunity to winning the league title but then it's very likely Bayern Munich might not defend the league title this season, but after the winter break then we can be very Sure of what team will have a better chance or will the top team be able to maintain their form and continue in this pase.

Predicting the Bundesliga title winner is tricky right now because both Bayern Munich and Leverkusen are playing exceptionally well and are all eager to win the league because they are the two strong clubs that can win it.

I appreciate how Leverkusen is playing, but I am concerned that they may end up like Arsenal did last season by being on top of the Premier League for too long and then losing some points at the end, resulting in Manchester City winning the league. So far Leverkusen has managed to maintain an unbeaten record so that many parties are starting to favorite them to become champions, but I think there are still several gaps including defense which should be improved by Leverkusen in January, adding new players will of course at least be able to further strengthen the team, especially in the future busy schedule will be one of the obstacles for Leverkusen to remain consistent in both the league and European leagues. I think this is the one of the advantages and edge Bayern Munich has been able to maintain recently despite their form fluctuating recently but then I think priority judgement for winners of the league is usually placed on points which is Leverkusen's edge. They don't have to score thousands of goals to win but need the points.

If Bayern Leverkusen finishes with the highest point amongst all teams in the league and Bayern Munich finishes with the highest number of goals but are still behind Leverkusen in point, definitely Leverkusen will be declared winners because they have got the highest point meanwhile Bayern Munich will only be recognized for their goals so I still think currently Leverkusen still have better chance until they drop points so much so that they no longer are able to lead with points but in a situation whereby both team finishes with same points, that's when the goals difference will favour Bayern Munich, I think it will be better if Leverkusen is able to get more goals and be ahead in every aspect.
