I was interested to see Leipzig performance this season because although last summer Leipzig was lost some of their important players just like Josko Gvardiol, Dominik Szoboszlai and their top scorer last season Christopher Nkunku but the team still able to managed their consistency and until week 16 Leipzig can able to occupy 4th place at Bundesliga with collect 33 points and on champion league too Leipzig performance is still stable because they can able to advances to round of 16 but indeed Leipzig wasn't lucky because on that stage Leipzig will facing strong opponent Real Madrid

After lost Christopher Nkunku i think Leipzig was made a good decision with buy Lois Openda from Lens and apparently this is a good transfer for Leipzig because Lois Openda can adapt quickly with Bundesliga atmosphere and currently he has scores 11 goals in Bundesliga and he is Leipzig top scorer and Openda most likely will scores more goals and help Leipzig to the the winning results for upcoming matches and next weekend Leipzig will fight against Frankfurt although Frankfurt is tough team but i am quite confident Leipzig will being an the winner of this match

Isn't something like this normal because normally when a club can be consistent then they can compete in the race for the championship and something like this also happened last season for Dortmund.

Leipzig can be one of the most consistent teams of the Bundesliga over the years. Because I don't remember the last time they couldn't make it to top four. I see them in the Champions League every year. They don't have the best squad in the league maybe but their squad consists of really skilled players at the same time.

They are really good at making the right transfers for themselves. Only signing Werner back resulted in badly for them as he isn't able to perform like in the old times. Other than that they are doing just fine and making quite much money from the players they are selling on one hand.

Losing key players and still performing is one big thing that big clubs do and Liepzig has proven to be one big club. Yes, they lost most of her players but still maintain standard as a club and even perform better. They made important additions that have really helped in this team’s stability. Though they’ll be facing Real Madrid in the Round of 16 and they don’t stand a chance.

 The fact they’ll probably be getting back to the UCL next season is a win for them. Against Frankfurt I think Liepzig will have the victory in this match and theyll be a safe bet for the weekend.
For me, I still think Leipzig no matter their playing condition are still a valuable club in the German league and European contests generally. They've proven their worth in most of their games this season and it's an addition to their quality. Despite the fact that they lost some key players, they still got reliable addition that would keep the team going.

Victor Boniface has indeed become Leverkusen's mainstay striker this season and if he is absent from defending his country at the AFCON event it will clearly reduce Leverkusen's goal productivity slightly.
