If they don't at least get 10 points out of those four games, I doubt that this is going to end with the qualification for the Champions League this year. They have all the hard games towards the end of the second half of the season and I doubt that they will win a lot of those games against teams like Stuttgart, Bayern or Leverkusen.

Yes they’ve been inconsistent this season after losing most of its key players but one sweet thing is that in that inconsistency, they manage to go through to the last 16 of the UCL, which is one thing i love about this team, they always manage their players and use what they got to go forward in the UCL.

Well not a cause for too much worry because this Dortmund squad has the experience and can get back to UCL spot. But one thing the board and coach should try out is to recruit new players who would help this team look fierce else they’ll find it more difficult next season.

Currently Dortmund may seem like they are having a bad time with their performance so far and it's almost looking like they will not be able to make bit to the next UCL because even in the bundesliga they are literally struggling to get to top four which is one sure guarantee o securing a spot at the next UCL.

Still drawing with minimal losses is still a sigh of hope that they have still got some good chances of improvement, their next four fixtures doesn't seem like tough Ones which I personally see as an opportunity to be able to make up for the draw down they have had all this while so it's very possible they can get back if they are able to win all four games that a guaranteed 12 points which will definitely help them secure a spot at the top four positions on the table before the season ends so there's definitely still much hope for Dortmund if only they brace up at the time.

I really liked Xabi's game intelligence even when he was a football player. It seems that he is also successful in managing. We've always competed with Bayern, but this season feels different. The team's inconsistency worries me, especially with Bundesliga competition heating up. Edin Terzic has made changes to fight in the second half of the season, starting with a change of assistant coach, perhaps this will be followed by recruiting several new players in the transfer window which will open tomorrow. It's true, Dortmund must balance stability between the UCL and the Bundesliga, the club priority scale now is domestic competitions, the UCL match break should be used to create consistency in the Bundesliga.

But the thing is I don't think they can keep their lead for long against Bayern Munich. They are the giants of Bundesliga and it is very hard to keep leads against them. But if they keep this kind of consistency, I don’t think Bayern can do anything about it. I think it will all come down to the match between Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich in February. That will determine who will get the championship. As for the Europa League, teams like Liverpool are a big threat for them. They are doing very well at the moment and can even beat everyone. So let's wait for the season to finish.

Actually Xabi Alonso had less experience during his first season as Bayern Leverkusen coach but management still gave him confidence, Alonso come from academy of Real  Sociedad manager and Leverkusen management no doubt with his reputation when active as player but first season achievement make him will get more extend contract with Bayern Leverkusen in the future exactly with teams performance in this season still unbeaten.
