Leipzig can be one of the most consistent teams of the Bundesliga over the years. Because I don't remember the last time they couldn't make it to top four. I see them in the Champions League every year. They don't have the best squad in the league maybe but their squad consists of really skilled players at the same time.

They are really good at making the right transfers for themselves. Only signing Werner back resulted in badly for them as he isn't able to perform like in the old times. Other than that they are doing just fine and making quite much money from the players they are selling on one hand.  

Leipzig has consistently finished in the top four for the last 5 seasons and thus, it can be assumed that Leipzig is a successful team and also consistent of course. That is big news I have to say as Hans-Joachim Watzke has a long and profound history to look back on with Borussia Dortmund. They went through thick and thin and the most literal sense. They were almost bankrupt, or put in other words, they were bankrupt more or less and Watzke had to restructure them financially in essentially all areas. He did that successfully and Borussia Dortmund was again able to look forward to a bright future. And that is what happened eventually when they decided to sign Klopp and they won the domestic league title, the DFB Cup and then participated in the Champions League final and lost it 1-2 against Bayern Munich. Xabi Alonso proved his good performance during this season and even during the last season.
