Bayern Munich are fortunate that they took advantage of the chances they had to get three goals. It would have ended in a draw if they slacked to score more goals. The fight for the Bundesliga title is becoming fierce. FC St. Pauli put up a good fight because they want to also avoid relegation. Pauli is just three points above Heidenheim which might play on the Relegation play-offs. There are still more matches to determine the champions.

In the previous week, both Bayern Munich and Leverkusen got full points so there was no major change in the points. This opens up a much bigger opportunity for Bayern Munich to end the season as a candidate for the Bundesliga title. Overall, Bayern Munich is almost close to being the champion because they have performed much better and are much more ready to compete for the title.

ST. Pauli is not safe yet because now they are still in a fairly risky position because they are only two points away from the three teams in the Relegation zone. If they do not play consistently in the remaining matches, it will make it difficult for them to move away from that zone.

Bayern Munich have avoided noise by securing a win yesterday, it was thrilling victory for the Bavarians as they forced themselves through important phases of the game. Bayern Munich knew their fate and didn't relent when they spot an important opportunity for a win, they did everything to obtain a win and we know how rotting it's been for the Bavarians. Vincent Kompany is present to ensure his team is having a good treat, they will always come out on top because they've been fighting their way through to ensure they keep good path in the league.

Three top teams managed to get 3 full points in this week's match. But what about Mainz who will face Dortmund. Will Mainz also get a win in tomorrow's match?

We almost never talk about Mainz, but look at how this team was able to beat big teams when playing at home. Even Dortmund was defeated in the first meeting. BTTS (Yes) still a good choice. But Mainz has a big chance to win again.

Bayern Munich, Bayern Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt all had great performances this weekend which was why they were able to secure important victories in their respective league games. For  fourth placed Mainz who travel to Signa Iduna Park to play against  Dortmund today, I strongly doubt they'll be able to get a win. Dortmund as we all know have been struggling in the league this season but that don't think is enough for anyone to conclude that they'll not be able to beat Mainz at home today. The option of BTTS in the game o think is quite cool but I'll want to go with 3+ goals option.

We can say that Bayern won comfortably, but the same is not true for Frankfurt.
If Stuttgart had not been down to 10 men, it would have been very difficult for them to win. What happened to Stuttgart? They are in a very bad situation. They have only got 2 points in the last six games. If there was no 15 point difference between them, they could have been relegated.
Dortmund is at home today, but Mainz is in better form. You never know what Dortmund will do. The most logical thing to do is to bet on goals.

The game wasn't really that close as the score suggest, the last goal came on the last minutes, so it wasn't like very close game, it was 3-1 for many minutes. Bayern Munich managed to win their game, and keep the six points going which is the most important part. If they keep this up, then they are the winners and this means one more week has passed and Bayern is one more week closer.

I understand six points looks quite small to some people, but the reality is that it is not that close at all, it is actually quite far away, which is why nobody should be considering this as a way to keep it going and give Leverkusen any chance, it is not going to happen. We are going to see Bayern get the title, and Leverkusen will have to accept runner-up.

Bayern successfully beat St.Pauli. They win the game with 3-2 as the final score. My review for the game is that disappointed with how they unable in taking cleansheet against a weak team. The had control over the game. They continuously attacking their opponent, and yet again terrible defense costed them cleansheet.

Honestly, i won't complaint much about their aggressiveness. They're good in attacking, but always gave heart attack to their fans. They let worst team in the league to scores due to lost their concentration, which unacceptable. They have to work on it before UCL game against Inter.

They almost bottled two points, but glad god still helps them.

Nice win for bayern munich as they have gotten all three points against saints pauli and that is the most important thing here because the season has gotten to the point where every point is important because we are now getting close to the ending of the season great win for bayern munich as they continue to stay on top of the bundesliga table and refusing to come down for Leverkusen this shows that bayern munich has character and strength of becoming a champion because a champion is known during times like this when a team is stressed and exhausted facing strong teams like saint pauli, i was really impressed with the performance of saint pauli in this game because going away to alieze arena of all places to score two goals is something that should be commended because they almost got a point from this game

The game should have ended on a score of 3-1, not until in the extra time when St. Pauli scored their second goal, which is even surprising because Lars Ritzka held the ball from the midfield till he scored. Actually, it was a nice performance, but all this happened because Bayern Munich were relaxed as they saw the game had come to an end, so that is why the defence was not that strong. If not, I wasn’t expecting the game to be that hard for Bayern Munich to win because no matter what, Bayern Munich's performance is still strong, and they will still maintain being at the top of the table, as Bayer Leverkusen will not have any opportunity to win more than two games while Bayern Munich will lose more than two games. So the fact is Bayern Munich will still maintain being the winners of the season.

Bayern Munich had the field in that match and I can't say less praise for them judging by what I analyzed. But their carelessness cost them the extra 1 goal scored by FC St. Pauli in the extra time, it was just a cheap goal that should have been prevented. By measure, FC St. Pauli is nothing compared to Bayern, but for undermining attitude, they almost paid dearly for it, though they wouldn't have dared that if it was a 3-2 score already at that die minute.

And for the title chase between Bayen and Leverkusen, it's more reason why Bayern should not take any match lightly. For now, nothing is doubtful still, Leverkusen needs 6 points to draw Bayern, not to mention overtake it.

Yesterday's result and performance was an unexpected one for both big and small teams, especially st pauli they surprised everyone with an excellent performance against Bayern even when the game was in favour of Bayern yet they never gave up they fought tirelessly just to secure a point against Bayern and that they would have gotten assuming there was much time for them. Bayern need to step up a little because the 6 points difference against Leverkusen is not enough to win the league, if they continue with the way they are playing now I think there first place spot can be questioned

The problematic Dortmund are hosting Mainz tomorrow. Do you expect a win for Kovac's students? I don't think so honestly.    Their game is so poor in the league that it is hard to trust them. Especially against a Mainz that are having a superb season...

At the rate things are going, Bayern Munic are truly cruising to the trophy unhindered, something I have to blame Bayern Leverkusen for because we had hopes that they will challenge Bayern Munic this season as defending champions.

RB Leipzig part ways with manager Rose

RB Leipzig have sacked Marco Rose, the German side said on Sunday, with the club sitting a disappointing sixth in the Bundesliga.

The 48-year-old German was appointed by Leipzig in September 2022, replacing Domenico Tedesco at the time.

Leipzig, who finished 32nd in the Champions League group stage, are three points behind fourth-placed FSV Mainz in the Bundesliga with seven matches to go after suffering a 1-0 defeat at fifth-placed Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday.

They came fourth last season.

"Marco Rose has been relieved of his duties as RB Leipzig head coach with immediate effect. His coaching team of Alexander Zickler, Marco Kurth and Frank Geideck have also left the club, along with Frank Aehlig (head of first team football)," Leipzig said in a statement.

Having previously coached Borussia Dortmund, Gladbach and Red Bull Salzburg, Rose guided Leipzig to the German Cup title in the 2022-23 season and German Super Cup in 2023.

"The club will announce who will take over the head coach role on an interim basis in due course," Leipzig added.

Marco Rose is a good coach in my opinion. It's too bad he's always blamed for every poor performance. Despite that he's not being successful as expected, at least he manages to led the team to the Semi final. I don't really like the idea of parting ways with a coach in the middle of the season. This should have happened during the winter break. I hope he finds a new job elsewhere soon. Other staff deserve to be relieved of their duty as well to balance the situation and make a fresh restructure. If possible, they should do away with as many players as possible in the summer to bring in new players because majority of the current squad don't have the required quality. I think Leipzig has already gotten a replacement which is commendable.

That was two sided match because both teams did well in this match and FC St. Pauli full strength football team did 2 goals in this match. Kane was a person who did first goal of the match and he did goal at 17 minutes of the match and after this goal, we saw goal from opponent team and Saad did second goal of the match and he did goal at 27 minutes of the match and after this goal, score was 1-1 and after we saw goals from Sané and he did 2 goals in this match and he bent the match to their sides.Sané did his first goal at start of second half and he did goal at 53 minutes of the match and after this goal we saw another goal from that player and he did goal at 71 minutes of the match.

The way Bayern Munich play this days isn't encouraging. Checking through their last 4 matches, they only won well with Bayern Leverkusen. Imagine playing yesterday with St. Pauli who is sitting at 15th in the league table, they just had a goal as interval. Who know may be if more time is added, may be St. Pauli will even make it 3-3. Although most of this relegation team will want to play to avoid relegation but Bayern should work to play more impressive game.

There is no need to play more aggressively against opponents who are not strong enough in the Bundesliga if Bayern Munich can try to win in order to keep the points gap the same as their closest rivals. Because Bayern Munich also have to maintain the stamina and fitness of their core players for a much bigger competition, namely the UCL because there are opponents who are much tougher for Munich to beat. So just winning narrowly without any injured players is much better for Munich than winning a lot with an injured end for their main players.

Suprisely Borussia Dortmund has actually blown Mainz 05 away, I know right now Frankfurt will be the happiest on seeing this result because if Mainz had won Dortmund then they would have been leveled on points only separated by goal difference. But right now, seems like Dortmund has done them a very good favour. Before this game, most people must have written Dortmund off because of their poor form in the league but with this 3 - 1 win they have moved to 10th position.

I placed my bet on Dortmund for getting a win today against Mainz as i was sure that will be making at home.
Even i dont have seen the game for now it looks like with 3 scored goals they must got more chances to score one more.
I agree fully that Mainz would be not ready now for playing in the Champions League , fingers crossed Dortmund can make it for next season.
