Potentially important win that makes things a little bit more interesting. Leverkusen is now 6 points behind Bayern, which is still a lot, but Bayern unexpectedly lost points in their last 2 league games against weak clubs, which could be an indication of some small crisis in the team (although their great Champions League performance doesn't fit this theory).

If Leverkusen had won that week, the current point difference would have been only three and they would have continued their claim for the championship. However, when they lose points in the same week as Bayern Munich, the importance of this great victory is reduced. I don't know why Bayern Munich could get bad results in their two match in the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich performance in the UCL was very impressive but they seemed to be negligent and ignored their performance in the Bundesliga in the last two matches and resulted in not being able to save full points to maintain wide with Leverkusen.

I don't think they might be able to go ahead of Bayern Munich but that doesn't mean I have written them off from the race to be frank also.

They are quite scary to be frank and I know Munich would be mindful of them because any mistake that would take Bayern Leverkusen ahead of them would likely mean they lost the league again them twice in a role. I just hope Harry Kane can lift a trophy this season and Bundesliga title would be one of the best for him to lift aside the Champions League which is more unlikely this season.

Kompany gets support from quality players and strong club finances that's why he is currently quite successful with Munich even though it's only his first year handling Munich. And regarding their current situation I don't understand them in their last two matches they seem to have lost their way or maybe underestimated their opponents so they had to feel defeat at a time when 3 points were very important towards the end like this. Currently the difference with Leverkusen is 6 points if they make 2 more mistakes in the remaining matches then there is potential for Leverkusen to give a surprise at the end.

We need to realize how small the chance Leverkusen has right now, and can't beat Bayern to the title. And maybe we should just stop requesting or demanding them to do that too, why would they be any better, makes no sense. Look at the difference between Leverkusen, Dortmund, Frankfurt or any other big team in Bundesliga, and look at how much Bayern is paying for players, both for transfers and for salary. That should tell you the difference. This is why we can't really move further.

Even though the remaining chances are very small, Leverkusen must remain optimistic, the competition is not over yet, anything can still happen in the remaining 8 matches. Munich is still able to dominate until Jornada 26, other teams may have given up in the title race, but Leverkusen must be able to maintain their chances even though they are unable to finish in first place, at least they have fought.

I am not surprised that apart from Bayern Leverkusen none of these top teams took advantage of Bayern Munich dropping point in the past league matches, because in the German bundesliga their is no real challenger of Bayern Munich, the rest of other top teams are not as consistent as Bayern Munich at the top, this season Bayern Leverkusen will challenge Bayern Munich, next season it would be borussia dortmund, another season again it might be RB Leipzig, and that's how it goes on and on like that, their is no team in the German bundesliga that is always consistent at the top like Bayern Munich, that is why Bayern Munich always wins it even when they aren't that good, just like now.

So this is one of the reason I believe that Bayern Munich will reclaim their title back this season, even though they aren't that good like they normally are.

we do not have to worry about Bayern Munich's performance in the current condition Bayern Munich is no longer a team that we can rely on for luck in the final minutes it will not happen in a row. most likely Bayern Munich will certainly take advantage of this opportunity in the last match Bayern Munich has tried to maintain its performance for the next match both in the Bundesliga and the Champions League. The draw against Berlin was a bad result for Bayern with over 80% ball possession and 18 shots, I regret the many missed chances, but I'm still happy with Bayern's performance and praise Union Berlin’s defense.
But this is just one game. Every team has those off days, but don’t define their entire campaign. Bayern will bounce back and it won’t affect their Bundesliga or Champions League ambitions. IMO
And Kompany knows how important it is to keep calm, even after a disappointing result.

This Leverkusen comeback just makes me remember their last season's performances. Last season, even during extra time, Leverkusen would try their best to win the game. Bayer Leverkusen's comeback against Stuttgart was a surprise to me because, throughout the first half, I did not see any great performance from Leverkusen. So, I stopped watching the match after the first half. But surprisingly, I later realized that Leverkusen won the game. That was a result I was not expecting at all because the way they started the game was not great. I thought that even if Leverkusen got lucky, the match would end in a draw since Stuttgart was leading with two goals.Yes, as you said, this last win for Leverkusen has narrowed the gap in points between them and Bayern Munich and this will make the competition even tougher, and the points gap is now just six.

Leverkusen will face Bochum in their next match and we can say for sure that Leverkusen will win easily in this match. And if they can collect three points by winning this match, then they will be able to get close to Bayern Munich in the points table. Moreover, since Bayern Munich is currently in the first position of the points table with 62 points, and Leverkusen has 56 points, there is only a six-point gap between the two teams at the moment. If Leverkusen wins the next match, there will be a 3-point gap, and there may be a more exciting fight in the Bundesliga from next week.

Only if Leverkusen didn't lose to Werder freckling Bremen. The game was between two UCL games, which is why there was possibly some active resting and they didn't believe this would happen. They assumed they would win anyways and they lost, and that three points means so much now. There is a HUGE difference between being one game behind and two games behind.

Bayern barely loses games, and one more loss wouldn't be impossible but two more would be quite unlikely. Maybe they would get some ties, which makes it possible, if Bayern loses one, and gets two ties, that would still make Leverkusen the title winners, but three points losing games from Bayern for the rest of the season? I highly doubt that would be possible.
