I do not think anyone have thought Leverkusen would win. That was a very poor performance from Union Berlin. Both teams were bad in the first half. But nobody expected that Leverkusen score 5 goals and Union Berlin give up. I hope for Union Berlin that this was an one-off and that they will show a better performance against Augsburg at Wednesday.

I lost my money in this match because seeing Leverkusen's performance I clearly feel Union can win even though Union's performance has also declined a bit lately but I was wrong about this.
Union lost pretty badly. Their defense dropped drastically in the second half and the second and third goals scored in the span of just 2 minutes made them even more down in this match.

I agree with you. A 5-0 win against a strong team like Union Berlin proves that Leverkusen is back on track. You are right. Union Berlin doesn't have a squad strong enough to win the title or top the points table. However, they have been playing consistently well since the start of the season. And have been able to hold the top spot at the table for a long time. For this they deserve praise. But if the Union Berlin management had spent some money and formed a squad with more talented players, maybe their performance would have stabilized and they could have fought for the title. However, no team in the Bundesliga spends decent funds on strengthening themselves than Bayern Munich. This is why every season we see Bayern Munich as the champions of the Bundesliga.

Freiburg is currently leading 1-0 against Cologne, but we still have a long game to go in the 2nd half. That Bayern Munich is at the top should have come as no surprise to anyone. It is already a miracle that Freiburg and Union Berlin are in second and third place at the moment. Union Berlin is once again with both feet on the ground after the hopeless defeat against Bayer Leverkusen, which I did not see coming, namely that 5-0 defeat. First half was boring even dominated by Freiburg but in second half we have much improved performance from hosted team, and they have done good job for having full three points and second rank in Bundesliga as Union Berlin badly slip against Leverkusen by 5 - 0 which is surely one of the worst defeat for them in this season specially against team which was in relegation zone but with this win we have good changes in league table Bayern Munich back at the top after very long struggle and Freiburg is also having second rank which is surely good before break because now they have time for having better adjustment which will help them for having positive results in coming weeks and stay at the top ranks.

Freiburg played a great football and that’s what all you can ask from them, it was a close game in the sense that when you watch the game there was no domination if you ask me, it was close enough. However, when it comes to finishing, Freiburg had better chances and that’s why they won. It was a good week for me, rarely I get out unscathed from bundesliga parlay bets.

I wagered on Bayern, Dortmund and Leipzig which is what I do most of the time, bet on all three winning in a single slip, which has been a good deal so far for a few weeks but if you look at the whole season it wasn't really that good, lost many games so far and lost many wagers as well.

Freiburg is such an amazing team. I like teams who don't have hundreds of millions in the bank or huge outside investors and yet they are able to compete for the international qualifier ranks. I thought they just were very lucky during the early phase of the season, but they are proving every week that there is real quality at play within their team, an outstanding motivation and mentality. Streich is repeating his performances as a coach almost every season and when Freiburg sucks for a couple of months, Streich doesn't get sacked by their management. That is a great attitude compared to all those other rich clubs. This proves that mentality and consistency can also get you quite far.

As I have said I think that Union Berlin was just lucky at the start of the season and that Leverkusen really exposed them, but somehow they manage to take back what they lost in winning against Union Berlin, which ended up with them having 5 goals and most game stat for that game are pertaining to Leverkusen, but this is just their 1st winning game for now so pretty much I am still doubtful if they can be consistent with their wins,

But thanks to them Bayern Munich now is back and reclaimed the number 1 spot, they just need to retain good quality for the next match,

They still have a chance in retaining their position if they can manage to strengthen their performance even if they only are in the 4th or 5th standing if they really are an elite team they supposed to be, but for me they are just lucky in the start of this season, every team was really putting down their guard so much for Union Berlin to get the chance of experiencing that they are on the top, but again many have surely belive that eventually Bayern Munich is going to take that 1st spot,

Actually Wolfsburg has starting Bundesliga with poor performance even at the beginning of league they were gets 5 consecutive no wins but apparently Wolfsburg can able to bounce back even after defeated by Union Berlin on September Wolfsburg has improved their performance with no lose 7 times streak in all competitions and their position on standings league also gradually better and they can avoid relegation zone

Union Berlin being at the top of the Bundesliga League was just like an elephant being on top of a tree, we don't know how the elephant got there but we know it will fall.
I have been supporting Union Berlin to remain at the top of the league but now bayernmunich is at the top, it will be very very difficult for any other club include UB to see the top. Bayern will continue to be at the top till the end of the season that is what they do and how to do it best they know.

I do not think it will be so easy for Freiburg. They are playing internationally this year and that is a double burden. So far they can compensate that well. But in the second half of the season they have to play 19 times in the Bundesliga. On top of that they have the DFB Cup. So there will be a few match days when they will struggle.

Union Berlin they are now in the third place. They are far behind because of their poor performance in several matches. But if Union Berlin can perform well in a few matches then Union Berlin can move higher in the points table. And if they perform poorly then they  The points will go to the bottom of the table. I think they will perform well in the coming matches.

Their performance was really good up to a point, but I can say that they are on the decline now. Even if they stay third, I think they will be happy with the result. The Bundesliga is a tough league, and it is a feat for Union Berlin to finish third where there are teams that spend more on transfers than them. Time will tell if they can rise again.

That was well phrased and their confidence isn't going to decrease with every point they are winning right now. When they had their draw against Hertha with a 2:2 and then the 5:0 loss against Bayern some weeks ago, I thought that's the moment when Freiburg might more or less fall apart. Not like falling down to relegation rankings, but I certainly didn't expect a solid winning streak against Bremen, Schalke and Cologne with goal stats of 6:0! That is what really impressed me and they deserve to be in the table where they are.

There upcoming game against Leipzig will be a hard one, and that is one is quite a preliminary match point even though the season is still very young. Distancing Leipzig by 8 points or letting them get closer to 2 points is a huge difference. I wish them the best for that game as their budget is about 15th rank out of the 18 Bundesliga clubs. I guess it would be very difficult for Bochum to avoid relegation for this season after they conceded 35 goals with 13 games played in the Bundesliga league. With such a poor defensive record for Bochum at the moment, I think Borussia Monchengladbach should be able to claim an away victory today.

Wolfburg is runerup last season, schalke is team play in champion league last year. I think this match will end with draw. My prediction Both team to score or draw

a draw is not an expectation because I believe both have very strong ambitions to come out victorious, I prefer Wolfsburg as the winner because until now Schalke are in their worst position and have no enthusiasm to get a win, they prefer to quickly end matches this season and will probably bounce back next season.
