Now the championship race is more like among Bayern Munich, Union Berlin and Dortmund now.

Because the biggest gap among these teams is only three points. Union Berlin are the biggest surprise team in the season among them of course. They were even the leader previously but they lost a couple of positions due to starting a bad form. But still they made a big effort again and climbed to the second position. It looks like they are very determined to stay in this competition until the end. The championship run is just lovely in the Bundesliga now.

I think we are not consistent enough and Bayern can afford losing players and replace them with not much of a down grade. If the most consistent or the most prepared for injuries is to win the league then Bayern is going to win but I think Union could challenge them to the end but because of their players and not being used to challenging they will drop a lot of points when the fixtures are closer together and it comes to the end of the season. If I am to make a prediction today I think Bayern wins the league but Dortmund come 2nd with Union coming 3rd. I think we have the strengths and experience that Union does not and we will catch up and over take them. I expect Bayern to win the league by 6-9 points because they just have so many replacements for their 1st team that they are prepared if they have any major injures and Dortmund or Union are not.

So shameful for Eintracht Frankfurt. Losing  3 -0 to Cologne whom I thought is a supper win and a supper chance for them to overthrow Freiburg and Leipzig.
It's quite shameful to see Frankfurt struggling to have a goal against Cologne since the beginning of the second half. Dominating the possession since first with No no good on-target attempt.

Eintracht Frankfurt played unusually against FC Köln and couldn't get a single goal, Frankfurt seemed to have tried very hard to try to get it but FC Köln's defense was very difficult to penetrate and it was seen that Frankfurt had tried several shots at goal but nothing worked.
This should be a lesson for Frankfurt to create new strategies to penetrate defenses like FC Köln.

Bayern have enough good finance to replace their star players with others at similar quality. However it is applied for summer transfer when Bayern will have a few months to find players, send offers to club partners and finalize deals as well as have enough training time for new players.

In winter transfer, chance to find good replacements on the market is small and chance to see those new players play well is smaller.

If I am to make a prediction today I think Bayern wins the league but Dortmund come 2nd with Union coming 3rd. I agree with you that Bayern will win the league but I am not sure about Dortmund for the second position. I think Dortmund have more experience than other clubs but the departure of Haaland impacted them a lot especially their attacking power. In recent seasons, more competitors are rising to challenge Dortmund and Bayern, Union Berlin, Leipzig, Freiburg will not let Dortmund easily to claim the runner-up position.

Bundesliga is getting interesting and tougher.  Teams that  were not doing well in the past are now coming up to challenge the big teams. Cologne really tried to defeat Eintracht Frankfurt one if the strong teams in the league.  It  doesn't seems easy for big teams in the league to win their games smoothly like before.

Gladbach's performances have been erratic this season. But in the last two matches, they performed well enough. I wasn't expecting anything less from Cologne because proper analysis of their previous matches shows that cologne haven't recorded any lose in their past 7 matches and has been able to draw. Strong opponents like Bayer Munich, RB Leipzig, Schalke, and they have recorded a win with high goal rate.
Frankfurt did all their possible best but could not have a single goal, this makes me wonder what they have to show against Napoli.

The Koln team has been performing well in recent times. And has managed to perform well against several big teams as well. Koln players also played very well against Frankfurt and won. That was a very important victory, Union Berlin are kept one point away from Bayern, I honestly didn’t think that it would be possible for them after the match with Leipzig, this was the first defeat for Leipzig in the new year, and Union Berlin were able to maintain their winning streak, they didn't even play a draw this year (even in friendly matches), they only win. They have become underdogs that are interesting to watch and I would be happy if they managed to become champions. )

currently Monchengladbach's ranking is in 10th position and only has a difference of 9 points from Hertha who is in the relegation zone so I see Monchengladbach's current position is not safe. facing bayern munchen next week, is another bad news for monchnegladbach because bayern will definitely dominate the match and come out victorious, Monchengladbach needs luck in next week's match.

To be honest I was quite surprised, Union Berlin really showed strong determination and once again became a strong competitor for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga standings. their hard work paid off, Urs Fischer's squad swept five games with a win in the second half of the season. but by the way, Union Berlin has a tough game going to the Johan Cruijff Arena, home of Ajax. and if in the end, Union Berlin must be conquered by Ajax later. I doubt Berlin will continue to compete in the Bundesliga with its positive trend. moreover, Berlin has one match left against Bayern at the Allianz Arena.

On the other hand, Bayern Munich now has competitors who are sticking tight on the standings board. and only one point adrift, from Union Berlin. however, we agree that Munich's dominance in this competition will be difficult to break even though it is only 1-3 points away from Berlin and Dortmund. but by the way, at least the Bundseliga are getting more competitive nowadays. and the fight for the league trophy, wide open for teams below Munich.

Finally a win for hertha after this club has been getting lose streak. Hertha finally make three points from monchengladbach. A bit surprised with this result. It's caused by hertha has managed to win the match with big scores. I meant we shall take a look at what happened with the match. Hertha has very low ball possessions but it has so many good counter attacks against monchengladbach. monchengladbach was acquiring 70% ball possessions but it was losing against a fully defense strategy that used by hertha. Hertha was always using counter attack to create panic attack in the monchengladbach's defenders. These three points are really important for sure.
