Let's not forget that Chelsea is playing at home at Stamford Bridge and with the support of their fans coupled with the positive effect of their winning at the weekend, they're surely gonna win the match tonight against Borussia Dortmund. The only thing I think that weaken the morale of this Chelsea side later tonight is if they allow Dortmund to score first.

Leipzig finally has a new sports director. It is Rouven Schröder. He worked actively at Schalke until October 2022, but then his contract was on hold. Leipzig had been without a sports director since May 2021. At that time Markus Krösche was the sports director in Leipzig and left to Eintracht Frankfurt in June. Schröder had his contract on hold in October for personal reasons.

But after Leipzig did not have a sporting director, the fact is that Leipzig's performance is still in good results. So, maybe having a sporting director or not might not be a big deal but yes, of course if Schalke has a sporting director then that would be expected to improve team fitness and performance.

But if I consider that Rouven Schröder previously worked for Schalke, is that the right choice for Leipzig? Because at least we can see that Schalke's performance so far hasn't been great, but hopefully that won't happen for Leipzig either.
