The firing of Julian Nagelsmann remains surprising me because, in contrast, Bayern Munich is in the UCL quarterfinals and is also in first place in their league. The board probably does not share Julian's long justifications for their dismal performance in the bundlesliga. By this stage, they had accumulated insufficient points, which would have either allowed them to win the league title with easy or put them in direct rivalry with other elite teams, which is a disastrous outcome for the Bavarians. The addition of Thomas Tuchel is encouraging for the former Chelsea manager as he prepares to face Manchester City in the UCL.
The season isn't over yet and 9 games are still a lot of possibilities but the decision to fire the Bayern coach seems to be due to another factor, because even though they are behind Dortmund currently the opportunity is not yet closed and even still wide open, does management see it so difficult for Bayern Munich to take over dortmund's current position? especially in the Champions League, Bayern has impressed and it will still be possible to reach the semifinals even though they will face City in the Champions League quarter-finals, but Bayern have the ability to beat their opponents later. We'll see what Tuchel will give to Bayern Munich, indeed he has quite a good history, especially in the champions league, when as a substitute coach at Chelsea in the middle of the season he gave a trophy that is more valuable than just a league trophy, namely the champions league champion, and actually if Munich no longer dominates in the league this season it will be very good because it will be interesting to see the league champions change clubs. and it looks like Tuchel's selection is more of a long-term target.

Exactly. Bayern decision was too harsh and brutal on sacking this coach. He has been doing well both in the Bundesliga and Europe as a whole despite some ups and downs. It’s a very bizarre decision, he managed to beat Barcelona and PSG home and away, and just one point behind in a league we all know Bayern Munich is going to win. Sometimes I think he is a cold manager with his players and is difficult to deal with internally. The reason is probably an internal issue between him and the management. Because judging by his performance on the pitch, this doesn't makes sense.
Bayern Munich is performing quite well in the Bundesliga and is one of the best teams. However, this team is currently focusing more on the Champions League quarter-final match, because this year Bayern Munich has a great chance to go to the quarter-finals.
Bayern Munich doesn’t see it that way. By this time in the past seasons they would have been ahead of some teams with at least 10-15 points. There is no way Bayern Munich will be dragging the top position with Borussia Dortmund and Union Berlin. There are some reasons behind Bayern sacking Nagelsmann. Currently, hisplaying style is inconsistent, results in the Bundesliga are not good and the possibility to lose the championship is possible. Bayern are considering all possibilities and I understand.

Bayern are not familiar with feeling of falling under other clubs in Bundesliga. The defeat by Leverkusen last weekend leads to their decision to fire Nagelsman. Maybe they thought that Tuchel can help them to play better in Champions League quarter finals as well. I don't think they simply sacked Nagelsman because they want to win Bundesliga.

Bayern know that in Champions League this season, many big clubs have problems and if they can play well, they can take advantage of this opportunity to win another Champions League. If they win over Manchester City, there are not many big clubs wait for them in semi final and final matches. Real Madrid are weaker than themselves in the past season. In another branch, three Italian clubs and Benfica are not too strong opponents and only Napoli look to be dangerous in that branch.

I think the caused why Bayern management has decide to sacked him because this season Bayern has showing decline performance and when Dortmund has overtake their position last week i think the management will thinking to sacked Nagelsmann immediatelly but nothing you can do because Nagelsmann is in the hot seat and as the manager of Bayern he should be bringing Bayern to being an the champion for almost in every competitions with no excused

Bayern actually still have chances to gets treble winner this because besides Bundesliga Bayern still playing on other competitions such as champion league and DFB Pokal and this conditions will have an affect for Bayern performance especially they have tight schedules against Dortmund and against Freiburg on DFB Pokal but indeed it is confirmed Tuchel will being an the next manager of Bayern but his track records wasn't so good especially he was sacked from Chelsea before

I don't know why bayern needs to focus on the UCL while it's still having a bigger chance as well to win bundesliga. That's a non sense thing to see that you said bayern has lost a chance to win bundesliga. Which coach that was not interesting to win more than 1 trophy at the same time? Did you think that 1 point already made bayern have no chance to win the league? what a non sense thing. It's completely a non sense statement for sure.

I think that you shall try to be aware of the chance for bayern in domestic league. Bayern will have a new coach to come soon. I think that will also change the situation in the club.

Cancelo was even believing if bayern will be winning UCL this season

Indeed, no one expected the dismissal of Julian Nagelsmann to take place suddenly and even Julian Nagelsmann did not know about this dismissal because he was on holiday skiing in Tyrol. The rest was probably due to internal problems that were difficult to solve, so Bayern Munich's management made this decision. I think Bayern Munich should be able to face the rest of this season with a replacement coach Thomas Tuchel who now has responsibility in competitions that are still active, such as the Bundesliga and Champions League.

I think it was a hasty and panicked decision. Maybe one side of Bayern Munich's management assesses the opportunity to qualify for the Champions League semifinals with pessimism if Nagelsmann is still in charge of the team. The management is nervous about Manchester City having an experienced coach like Pep Guardiola. Then the defeat of Bayern Leverkusen was also the reason for the dismissal. However, by appointing Tuchel as a replacement for Nagelsmann, will Bayern be able to succeed in the two competitions that are their target?

That's the key, Bayern Munich hasn't played well this season, they often drop points, even at the start of the second round they started losing 3 matches, that's what made their point gap less and less and now even Borussia Dortmund can overtake them. Borussia Dortmund experienced a thrilling week, because they are required to always get maximum results if they want to win the title this season.
And it would also be great if Borussia Dortmund were able to take the Bundesliga title this season so that the owners of the championship in the Bundesliga could be different this season. But I still believe that Bayern Munich will still try to overtake Borussia Dortmund again in order to get another title this season. Moreover, there are not many points that Bayern Munich has to chase, so Bayern Munich will not ignore this opportunity this season either.
because the Bundesliga also has quite a lot of matches left this season, the Bundesliga will be quite interesting with the struggle for trophies. more interesting because not one team has locked into victory. and that makes the competition between the two teams fighting for the trophy even more interesting.
we see Serie A, La Liga, and Premier League, which are at the top of the table, have quite a lot of differences in points. now the Bundesliga is showing a better title race.
The title fight in the Bundesliga will be interesting if the Dortmund team is able to maintain consistency. We have seen the Union Berlin team at the top of the table for a long time. But they have lost the truck and are now far behind. On the other hand, the Dortmund team is now at the top of the points table. If Dortmund can win the next match against Bayern Munich then this season will see the dominance of Dortmund in the Bundesliga. And if Bayern Munich gets full points in this match then we will see the dominance of Munich in this season as in previous seasons.
Bayern Munich match against Borussia Dortmund will be a very tough match because it will might be a decider on who would win the German Bundesliga at the end of the season. Bayern will be at home and Allianz Arena isn't a ground that many teams would want to play in so for Dortmund to hey a good result from the match, they'll will have to play with their full strength and power.
Bayern has been tipped by bookmakers to win the match but the energetic Dortmund team might pull a surprise.

If Dortmund wins this match they will be at the top of the table. If the Bayern Munich team wins, we will see their dominance this season as well. However, the condition of the Bayern Munich team is not good now. Perhaps they are going to take the decision to sack coach Julian Nagelsmann. And if that's true, I don't think the new coach will be able to stabilize the team very quickly. Bayern Munich is likely to drop points in several matches. Dortmund should definitely take this opportunity and earn points against Munich.

Source: https://news.trenddetail.com/today/375865.html

I think it was a hasty and panicked decision. Maybe one side of Bayern Munich's management assesses the opportunity to qualify for the Champions League semifinals with pessimism if Nagelsmann is still in charge of the team. The management is nervous about Manchester City having an experienced coach like Pep Guardiola. Then the defeat of Bayern Leverkusen was also the reason for the dismissal. However, by appointing Tuchel as a replacement for Nagelsmann, will Bayern be able to succeed in the two competitions that are their target?

@uswa56 there were few reports a while ago that he could be sacked as Bayern were underperforming, but I thought that it was just a baseless rumour because they were yet in the race to win the league title and had yet not been eliminated from the champions league.

Also this ruthless action by Bayern is very harsh and if the new coach can’t get the team to perform again quickly then I wonder will they fire him too, either way I don’t think any top coach would like to join them now rather they’ll all wait for the end of the season and then consider joining them.

Exactly. Bayern decision was too harsh and brutal on sacking this coach. He has been doing well both in the Bundesliga and Europe as a whole despite some ups and downs. Sometimes I think he is a cold manager with his players and is difficult to deal with internally. The reason is probably an internal issue between him and the management. No make sense sacking him when the team is still in the Champion's League and has a good chance of winning the Bundesliga. Seems first place is their birthright, which they lost to Dortmund. Perhaps that's the reason for his dismissal. They should have sacked him at the end of the season if they failed to win both campaign, then it would have been better. Sacking a coach of his caliber before a crucial Champions League quarter-final only adds to the potential for disaster. I feel really bad for Nagelsmann, as this decision speaks to a larger issue of job security for coaches. This goes beyond results on the pitch, because he has been doing an excellent job.

Union Berlin have a chance to catch up with Dortmund and Bayern Munich more in the standings this time. If those two teams get a draw in the der Klassiker this would be an advantage for Union Berlin. But it depends on Union Berlin win against Stuttgart home at the same time. I assume they would manage to do this against the last-placed team in the league.  Grin

Even if Union Berlin don't win the title which is a really far possibility to me still - despite the small gap among the top three - I think they can at least secure their place in top four to make it to the Champions League this time.

Union Berlin had a better position in the table a few weeks ago and now they are getting far from first place in the table with the 48 points they have got so far. For Union Berlin even betting on the top side of the table is a great achievement because compared to Bayern Munich and Dortmund they have less investment in their team and they don't have famous players as they do, I guess if they finish this season in third place they can have the potential to reach higher ranks in next season.

I don't understand and can't say anything, this is quite surprising for me. even before, there was no sign of Nagelsmann losing the trust of the Bayern Munich management. So far, they have always supported him. from my point of view, Nagelsmann is a bright young coach. also brilliant, he carries the philosophy of modern football. has many tactics, strategies, patterns, and how about football itself. to be honest, I admire him as a talented young coach.

Then, surprisingly Bayern Munich kicked Julian Nagelmanns from the coaching chair. it is very clear, the dismissal raises a lot of questions because actually Bayern is not sinking at the hands of Nagelsmann. some rumors reported, the coach's heated relationship with Bayern officials was said to be the trigger for this policy. I wonder if this dismissal will affect Bayern's performance after the international break. if yes, this is the momentum for Dortmund to win a trophy this season.

Man, you're speaking my language! Football's got me hooked, and I've had my eyes on the Bundesliga for a hot minute. Nagelsmann getting the boot threw me for a loop, considering Bayern Munich's stellar performance this season. Feels like the higher-ups messed up big time – Nagelsmann's been a real gem for the squad.

Home and away, he bested Barca and PSG – that's no joke. Plus, they're just a point shy in a league where Bayern Munich's the top dog! It's tough to wrap my head around why they'd give him the axe. But hey, there could be some behind-the-scenes drama we ain't privy to.

Obviously the news of Nagelsmann's sacking is shocking news. I didn't even think Bayern Munich would make such a quick move in sacking their coach. What's really wrong with this trainer? Is it because they are under Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga? If that's the reason, I think it's too much. Moreover, they are still on the right track in the Champions League. I don't know what management is thinking.

I was reading it today in the morning when i was making me ready for work and it was an unexpected surprise news with Nagelsmann got fired.
There maybe for sure some things behind the scenes that we dont know , how the management and Nagelsmann maybe got some other point of views.
And for sure the place at the moment where Bayern Munich is right now on table with all that high quality players can also be thing for it.
Tuchel will be a good option for them and he has shown that in Chelsea for a long time.

However, if we look at it as a whole, it is no better than last season, meaning that Bayern Munich's performance has decreased if we refer to Bayern's performance last season in the Bundesliga.
Bayern have won the Bundesliga for several seasons, of course they don't want to lose what they have achieved so far, the Champions League is not a reason for Bayern to lose the Bundesliga title as it should.

Bayern have won the Bundesliga for several seasons, of course they don't want to lose what they have achieved so far, the Champions League is not a reason for Bayern to lose the Bundesliga title as it should.

But is that the right approach to sack your coach? Bayern has it in their own hands in all three competitions, demonstrated how easily they could beat PSG, not giving them a chance at all. The Bundesliga was a bit critical, I agree with that, but I doubt that is Nagelsmann's blame. Sane, Gnabry, they are not playing very well but that is not the coaches problem in this case. It was the same with Sane when he played for Manchester City. Mane isn't a good player for Bayern. He fit perfectly into the Liverpool squad, but he isn't the kind of player who can well adjust to new systems. He also had a bad injury. Taking everything into account I doubt that this change to Tuchel was the right decision. Tuchel is pretty much the same as Nagelsmann.

Bayern will not sack him without a reason.

However, there were some clear warning signs. Nagelsmann had lost the respect of some senior players. There was a perception that he was too quick to criticise his team after a defeat and unwilling to take his share of the blame.

His relationship with the board had become fractious. And he also fell out with the club's most important player, Manuel Neuer.

that reason above was still speculation as there was no confirmation from bayern why the club was sacking him. Nagelsmann was also knowing it from watching the news about he was being sacked by bayern.

It seems like that there was  a bad relationship between him with the club.

Let's see what will be the result against dortmund. Tuchel will be getting proposal tonight before he will be officially become a new coach for bayern. Cancelo is also feeling happy about that.

True, when comparing Bayern Munich's performance with last season, this season they have experienced a decline. But for me personally, firing their coach for that reason is too harsh, because overall they can still compete and the title has not completely disappeared from their grasp. There may have been other considerations for Bayern Munich's management so they decided to end the collaboration with Nagelsmann. Only they know for sure what the reason was behind Nagelsmann's dismissal.

At first I was also surprised by the dismissal of Julian Nagelsmann. When I heard about the dismissal of Julian Nagelsmann from Bayern Munich, I couldn't believe it, but after seeing one of the football news reports from a trusted journalist, it turned out to be true. Even Tuchel will soon receive a new contract in the next few hours.

It was a bit strange to be sacked in the midst of Bayern Munich's performance which was a little inconsistent in the Bundesliga but performed very well in the UCL and is currently in the Quarter Finals and will face Manchester City.

So I think that one of the reasons Bayern Munich's management fired Nagelsman was because they wanted Bayern Munich, when under Tuchel's hands, to be able to beat Man City.

which we all know that Tuchel's winning record against Man City Pep was good in the EPL a few seasons ago and even Tuchel was also able to beat City's best squad in the 2021 UCL Final.

It's a shame that Nagelsmann was sacked, even though his tactics were pretty good, it's just that he's more flexible about formations, namely playing 3 defenders more often, and maybe this is also what makes other Bayern Munich players feel uncomfortable about playing minutes.
