What on Earth is happening in the world of football?
Dortmund that have every advantage of winning the German Bundesliga title this season just waited on the last day (Today) and at home to fail to get all 3pts against Mainz, why? I'm so tired of seeing Bayern Munich lifting the trophy every season, I thought this season would have a new Champion, 11 times in a row have they (Bayern Munich) become Champions, congratulations to the struggling Bayern Munich side but Dortmund could have done better. Since 2012 Dortmund won the bundesliga title they haven't had the chance as this close in lifting the trophy and now they failed to even make amends for those long 11 years, is just a big shame... I just see another Arsenal in Dortmund, failures.

Actually, a lot of people didn't anticipate Dortmund to experience this today, but that's football for us.It is really disappointing that Dortmund surprisingly lets Bayern Munich win the Bundesliga League title this season again. Checking Mainz's previous results before today's match against Dortmund, I believed that Dortmund would be able to win the match easily without much effort,this was because Mainz four recent games played before today's match was lose, Given that Mainz has lost four of its last four games make me believe that Dortmund has won the league already before the game started but they still try but lucky didn't just work  on the team. But even though fc Koln gave bayern Munich a tough time, I didn't anticipate fc Koln to draw bayern Munich to that die minute, but luckily bayern Munich won it last last.

It's a shame that Bayer Leverkusen only played with 10 players, and these factors prevented Bayer Leverkusen from finishing fifth. Because in reality, Freiburg also lost by Eintracht Frankfurt and that made Bayer Leverkusen have to be content with only receiving tickets to play in the Conference League next season.

They deserved to win the Bundesliga title with all the efforts they made until the end of the season, I'm quite disappointed with Borussia Dortmund for not being able to win, instead of scoring goals, they even conceded 2 goals first.

The luck was not on their side to lift the trophy this season having done their best, and this is why it is important to never give up even till die minutes. Imagine had Bayern Munich gave up and reluctantly Played the game today. However, I wonder how Dortmund failed to win their game today even as they are in advantage of playing at home .Their case is just like a similar case to that of Arsenal, but seem theirs is worst because it happened on the last game day, which victory would have awarded them the trophy.
Football this days is becoming so tough to predict a possible outcome even when sometimes it seem clear for a particular team to win.

Bayern Munich is really lucky. The team is the current Bundesliga title-winning team. Dortmund has been trying very hard for the last few matches to secure the title. If Dortmund can win today's match then the team will be able to secure the Bundesliga title easily. But on the other hand, Bayern Munich secured the victory in a great way, due to which Dortmund missed out on the title on points.

Dortmund played the first half so disgustingly. Well, Bayern has been destined to win the league since the beginning of time. So I am not surprised. What pains me is that despite Bayern seeming to throw so many chances to be top during the season, this team Dortmund kept giving them the lead back as if there was some sort of agreement signed between the two teams. The game was boring as can be. Next season, they'll win again and there is no doubt about it. We can say, this is the Bayernsliga.

I was very disappointed with Dortmund's performance. This was the most important match of the season for Dortmund. I don't think Dortmund will perform so badly in this match. Dortmund's performance in the first half made me feel like the players were completely aimless. They conceded two goals. And Sebastien Haller missed a penalty. I don't think Dortmund will win after going 2-0 down in the first half. However, they managed to draw the match as their performance was slightly better in the second half. But in the end, the Bundesliga champion could not be Dortmund.

I was never disapointed in a team performance more than dortmund in today game after 10 years of bayern dominance they could've been the new champions despite the odds at the begining of season but the players inexperience was a major factor in this tragedy i don't think bayern will be dethroned anytime soon it seems that there is no competition  for them in the bundesliga.

Despite such erratic performances, Bayern Munich managed to become champions this season. They are indeed very fortunate. After the defeat against Leipzig, I thought Munich had no chance of winning the title. Because the Dortmund team was in good form. It was completely unexpected for me that Dortmund's players would perform so badly against Mainz. I expected a more responsible performance from Dortmund's players. Dortmund could not break Munich's dominance even after having chances this season. Next season I am sure Dortmund will be far behind Munich.

It could be ! But if Sébastien Haller can scored in a penalty seems like Dortmund can win, it's a sad he missed that golden opportunity. Although Dortmund created chances they weren’t clear cut ones. You can’t continue to cross the ball when your center forward was been bullied on air by the opposition. Dortmund were somewhat lacking a driver in the midfield because of the absence of Bellingham. Just like you said Bayern were composed even at the brink of losing the title is the same way Dortmund Should have started the game not playing panickly against a team that has lost its last three matches. I also felt that Modeste should had been introduced early in the second half to add more pressure in the opposition box.

Yes, the emotions of the players immediately after the match were terrible, it pains me to look at these pictures. Borussia are like Arsenal this season, missing out on the title at the very last moment when they were still so close to it? Reus becomes vice champion 7 times already, it's very sad

I think they were complacent, they thought they were going to win. They have themselves to blame, starting from the coach. How can you bench one of your most important player... Jude Bellingham in a game like this? He wasn't injured and even when things weren't going as planned he didn't thought it wise to bring him on. Also, the Haller missed a penalty in the first half. I can only imagine the feeling of the team right now... They must be shattered. They were very close but missed it.

It's dramatic and must be disappointing for Dortmund because it should be a victory in front of their eyes by playing at home, of course, it's very profitable, but the game says otherwise, Mainz scored two goals in the first half, and in the second half Dortmund can all reply to the goal but I didn't happen to add another goal until the end of the match ended in a draw and what I saw this game was quite tense and ended disappointed for Dortmund.

With the same points over Bayern Munich but only on a different goal difference, if for example Dortmund wins then it will stop Bayern from winning successively, but that hope is dashed and Bayern has now continued its history again by continuing to win the Bundesliga title.

it's really dramatic ^{(congratulations to bayern)} to see how tight the competition is to fight for the bundesliga trophy between bayern and dortmund, if only Dortmund vs mainz didn't end in a draw then bayern wouldn't be champions again this season. 

playing as a host didn't make Dortmund have a big lead over Mainz even what i didn't understand, Dortmund was 2-0 down in the first half and Dortmund was only able to equalize the score in 69 and 96 minutes.

meanwhile for Bayern, the narrow 2-1 win over koln was really lucky for Bayern, anyway, i was really entertained by the drama that happened in the Bundesliga this season and to be honest, i was getting more and more interested in the Bundesliga.

They bottled their opportunity just like Arsenal in the premier league. They will regret it after being so close to stopping Bayern from winning it again, but just too bad. Jude Bellingham the star player for Dortmund could not be the difference just like his fellow young player Jamal Musiala has put his name down in history as the one who won the cup for Bayern this season with that wonderful last minute goal. Tuchel, Mane and Cancelo will be happy winning a title this season, especially for Tuchel and Cancelo. Dortmund had every chance to win this league and they blew it. This was the perfect fairy tail ending. The perfect way to make their fans happy. Leipzig handed the league to Dortmund on a platter when they won Bayern Munich. All Dortmund needed to do was win the final match in front of thousands of their fans.
Dortmund probably has the best fanbase in Europe, they had no reason not to win this match because their fans were solidly behind them. In that kind of atmosphere when everything is on the line, thy had no excuse whatsoever.

Dortmund missed an easy chance to win the title after 10 years. The team could become the champions of this season only if they beat the Mainz team in the last match. But Dortmund's performance against Mainz was strange. Their performance in the second half seemed like they had no match plan. Dortmund's performance in the previous matches was very good. But I don't understand why they performed so badly today. Anyway congratulations to the Bayern Munich team. The best team in the Bundesliga, Munich proved it once again.

The game was surprising since Dortmund had every potential to win against Mainz today because they missed a critical penalty in the 19th minute of the game that was supposed to give them an early game lead, but they were unlucky and the game ended in a draw.

The opportunity has been missed and it would not come anytime soon again, Bayern would buy very good players when the transfer window opens, they are already making changes in their board, they will be a stronger team from next season and will continue winning the bundesliga.

I'm also considering how great and competitive the league will be next year. I also think Dortmund will be a weak opponent next season if they don't sign more players, because I'm sure they'll lose a lot of talented players during the transfer window; this could have been their chance to win the league because they've been so good this season.

In the end Dortmund's mentality was still not up to it and they had to give up after one more step to the trophy which makes it a bit regrettable but it is in this case because it can be said that this is a rare opportunity considering that very rarely opportunities like this but they squandered the opportunities they had.
Even so, it still makes a difference this season because it's still quite exciting to see the Bundesliga race go to the end like this.



The multi I did confidently in the end didn't live up to my expectations as Dortmund won the game and took the trophy away from Bayern's longtime dominance in the Bundesliga.
