Stuttgart was the favourite in this match and showed it. But what I noticed in this game is that the ease of the Union Berlin players is gone. Especially in the first halftime, one could see that they were too hard in the duels. That is what happens when the frustration is too great. The coach must now make sure that the team works at a team and that they perform as a team.

Stuttgart was my favorite aswell and  they didn't disappointed my expectations, they were at the first position after the the win over Berlin but now they are been topped by Leverkusen with a point difference, Stuttgart has really been good since the beginning of the season but they will have to fluctuate between the top position and second till they are able to be ahead with a good number of point.

Berlin has suffered series of losses a d have hardly gotten a win this season they have had a very rough and poor season so far although they have managed to be at the  fifteenth position with just six points, that's just a step away from relegation, of which if they don't gat to improve they may be pushed down again to relegation, the win Stuttgart got against them was deserving although they tried but Stuttgart was a better side.

I doubt Stuttgart could go along because of the same reason you believe they could which is Guirassy, the team defends so much on him for goals such that if he should be sidelined for a very long time I doubt they could cope. Although they did well In the weekend game when he was substituted in the first half. His replacement Undav and Silas look like players that fill his shoes in that game but i strongly doubt they could. I had similar believe about Union last season but their over dependence on Sheraldo Becker caused them problems when the goals dried off for him, same way I don’t want to fall into Stuttgart too now.

My number one club to challenge Bayern is Bayer Leverkusen. They have an all round formidable squad and are not too dependent on a single player. They also have leaders that have played high competitive football for a very long time, players like Xhaka, Hoffman, Tah and goalkeeper Hradecky will help guide the young squad to the tittle better than Stuttgart has

A walkover ... Did you also think that the game Dortmund - Heidenheim was a walkover for Dortmund? This is great. I am absolutely loving this. Because generally, the Bundesliga is not that competitive, to be honest. In general, this league is pretty much one-sided. And Bayern Munich is the team that always seems to be dominating. But this time it is very different. This time Bayer Leverkusen and Stuttgart have also been performing very well. For Stuttgart, I am impressed that they were able to maintain that position after several weeks. In November they will face Dortmund and both Bayern Munich and Leipzig in December. Maybe these matches might impact the ranking of the team.

Hopefully they annoy Bayern Munich until the season ends and maybe they get the title this year , from what they playing its possible.
About Stuttgart yes they playing an impressive soccer and Serhou Guirass is to 50 % the key for that.
But lets see how they are doing without him the next weeks as he got injured on the last game and is not available for the next weeks.

Bayern Munich has the  strongest squad in the bundesliga. However  the team is now third in the table. Leverkusen and stuttgart are first and second in the table. The way t hese two teams are performing is really commendable. Leverkusen showed with a good performance against Bayern munich that  they have a strong  enough squad and are ready to fight for the title. But whether stuttgart will be able to maintain consistency is not certain. stuttgart have yet to face the big  teams. Stuttgart's  performances against Dortmund, munich and leverkusen show just how strong the team is.  But if the Stuttgart team can maintain such consistency, then this season  of the bundesliga will be very competitive. We will not only see the dominance of Munich.

Even with the best players in the Bundesliga in Bayern Munich, still, they couldn't be in the first place on the table because just having players and the best coach is not the only thing they need.
Bayern Munich had some changes recently and we know whenever a team makes many changes they need some time to have an integrated team. In fact, Leverkusen can have good performances they have a coach like Xabi Alonso and unlike many other teams, they were stable during this season.

Xabi Alonso is reinventing himself this season. Despite having such a strong team in Bayern Munich, they failed to reach number one in the points table. Leverkusen is consistently number one in the points table with a relatively less strong team than Bayern Munich. The team's manager plays a huge role behind so many others in Leverkusen's performance. Leverkusen are giving Bayan Muni no chance. If they don't get a chance to come back, no matter how good Bayern Munich perform with a good team, they will not be able to come to number one in the points table. Bayan Munich needs to perform consistently and Leverkusen's poor performance to reach number one in the points table, but Leverkusen's performance looks like they won't perform badly at all.

Last season, Leverkusen were the team that finished 6th and also ensured them to go to the Europa League. This season they have shown a lot of improvement and now they can be at the top of the table with no losses. Xabi Alonso should be applauded for what he has done with Leverkusen. Although they have not been able to win the title, but in his hands Leverkusen became even better. I remember when Xabi first came, yes Leverkusen at that time was in a bad state and slowly Xabi could improve this team.

Leverkusen's improvement this season is one that deserves every commendation it's getting and I must say so far Xabi Alonso has proven himself to be one of the best they can get in the bundesliga, at this his very young coaching again, been able to build a team that is formidable enough to withstand Bayern Munich to a draw is almost uncommon as compared to Leverkusen form last season.
Leverkusen looks very promising this season and even if they happen to not win the league title, we could be sure they would finish top five and definitely qualify for UCL next season, not to forget they are still unbeaten aswell in the Europa league where they are still doing so well, if they putting in more effort as they do in the bundesliga, it's possible they could gat some out of the Europa league aswell but then they still have some tough teams to contend over there, nevertheless they are still doing so well, all thanks to Xabi Alonso.

Regrettably, the speculations and discussions concerning Alonso's future have already begun, but I must say that I hope he will stay at Leverkusen for a while because I am really interested in seeing Alonso build a competitive team with much less resources than Bayern Munich has available. He is so young and he has plenty of time to coach the big clubs in Europe, first and foremost Real Madrid I guess. But I assume that he is on the wishlist for Real Madrid already and if he plays an outstandingly successful season with Leverkusen, which does not necessarily mean he has to win the Bundesliga, I think that Real Madrid will reach out to him. This is how these situations usually play out.

Xavi Alonso was the coach of Leverkusen last season. But Leverkusen's performance was not very good. Alonso dealt with the team's internal problems and tried to stabilize the team. And this season it shows that he has succeeded. Leverkusen's performance has been very consistent and strong since the start of this season. And it is through hard work that he has managed to bring the Leverkusen team to this position. And now I don't think he will leave Leverkusen. He has worked hard for this team. He will definitely stay with the team till the end of this season. If his relationship with the management is not good next season, he may decide to leave Leverkusen. But I don't think he will leave Leverkusen so soon.
