Losing 2 players in the first half made it very difficult for them to defend because even though Bayern lost Kimmich in the first 5 minutes of the first half, their quality was different but with Darmstadt losing 2 players in the first half, they had to defend again and again but they couldn't do it because Bayern was still Bayern with their crazy attacking power.

Darmstadt's players were probably not prepared for such a desperate attack from Munich.

The referee, Petersen Martin was aggressive, issuing out red and yellow cards to players for fouls committed, at first I thought the referee was trying to balance the game but he blow things out of proportion. Alot of things went wrong on the pitch but at the end of the day, Bayern Munich went home with solidable three points. Bayern Munich humbled Darmstadt 8 nil at Allianz Arena, it was a simple game for the Bavarians. Darmstadt boss,Torsten Lieberknecht is an average coach, I'm not surprised to watch him and his team embarrassed by the Bundesliga giant.

You are right. The referee was very aggressive. He showed Darmstadt players two yellow cards and two red cards. And Bayern Munich players were shown a yellow card and a red card. Naturally, the performance of Darmstadt's players further deteriorated after receiving two red cards. Their defense becomes weak. Munich coach Thomas Tuchel has used this opportunity very well. Because we saw 3 red cards in the first half 2 of which were shown to Darmstadt players. This made things easier for Bayern Munich in the second half.

After they broke the deadlock the goals came down like rain. We watched a hat-trick from Kane as well and there was a 8-0 win at the end.    This must be like an apology to their fans after their poor performance in the last Champions League game they played.

Chaotic second half for Darmstadt. Bayern Munich trashed them literally the way they did to Schalke previously but I could say this time is worst since 7 goals were scored in almost 20 minutes
Bayern Munich weren't the only one throwing punches and trashing teams. Leipzig too humiliated Koln with 6 goals to 0.. 4 of them scored in the first half. I find Leipzig victory more interesting than Bayern Munich since Koln is a better team. Additionally they played vs the full squad and the red card was received in the end of the game before the other 2 goals.

at least Bayern Munich was able to score a big score even though it was all because Darmstadt players got a red card which would have been impossible to survive with just 9 players, it was very difficult and although some people dont really like the performance of these two teams because they were considered unbalanced, I was impressed by the goals Kane scored from long distance which resulted in the 5th score for Bayern Munich and I understand if Darmstadt lost with a humiliating score because they lost 2 players and it is very unlikely that they will only compete defensively with 9 players while Bayern Munich strength is very strong and I think someone who bet on this match with -3 option gets very big odds and wins.

If we compare it with Leipzig match when they humiliated Koln with 6 scores, it was much more interesting because Koln got a red card almost towards the end of the minute which proves that Leipzig ability and performance is really very strong.
