I'm very contented with what I saw in the Leverkusen - Bayern Munich game.    Leverkusen showed such a strong character in the game and completely deserved this 3-0 win.

I wasn't expecting Bayern Munich to be this ineffective though. It was like nearly everyone played horrible. I saw Boey in the starting eleven in his second game already but he also couldn't show a good performance just like the others. Now the point gap between these two teams has become five. While we are slowly getting near the end of the season Leverkusen have a huge advantage to go for the league title and finally break Bayern Munich's streak. 

Bayern Munich was completely helpless under Leverkusen control. Xabi attractive game was able to beat Tuchel and his troops completely. This victory was purely Xabi Alonso strategy which everyone should see. The attack system implemented by Xabi Alonso is clearly different from the one implemented by Tuchel. With 31 matches without defeat, anyone would definitely be amazed by these results and managed to collect 93 goals. I want Leverkusen to survive until the end of the season and win a trophy because if it continues with Bayern Munich the Bundesliga will be boring.

My expectation of an even match actually didn't really happen in this match because the 3-goal loss scored by Leverkusen honestly became very unexpected because their opponent was Bayern.
But indeed I am quite happy with this because however with the defeat obtained by Bayern this clearly benefits Leverkusen because they can stay away with a difference of 5 points. In addition, Xabi's record until now is still unstoppable, which means that Leverkusen have played 31 matches without losing even once and this increasingly makes Xabi one of the coaches who has indeed become phenomenal this season.

Bayern were quite good in possession but Leverkusen performed much better where they could take advantage of counter attacks and when talking about shots and on target in this match Leverkusen were far superior.
With this result, I honestly doubt whether Tuchel can survive next season or not because in the last 2 seasons Tuchel seems to have great difficulty controlling Bayern, which in terms of players their quality is much better than other clubs in the Bundesliga today.

In the game, you can really feel the difference in tactics used by the two teams. However, Xabi is a maestro, he plays a fluid strategy where players can change positions quickly to create opportunities which are converted into goals.
The big question is, will Munich try to redeem Xabi's clause from Leverkusen next season? Munich always does this to buy players and even rival coaches so they can dominate the Bundesliga.

Their instability is increasingly felt now and indeed with the results received in yesterday's match making their probability even lower when talking about the trophy hunt and maintaining their hegemony that has been done for the last 11 seasons now allows lost if Leverkusen continues to play well and Bayern is still stagnant as now.

This result makes Bayer Leverkusen even stronger at the top of the Bundesliga standings, five points ahead of Bayern Munich who are below it. Leverkusen won a very crucial match. Even though Leverkusen lost possession of the ball, that didn't make Leverkusen back down. They were focused and aggressive in taking advantage of every opportunity that existed, so that 3 goals were scored and lasted until the final whistle. This victory put Liverpool at the top of the standings with a difference of 5 points from Bayern Munich.

They catched up now to Bayern Munich and it looks like that all gets a bit closer now as Dortmund is on there neck too.

It must be admitted that Xabi Alonso's tactics in that match were really cool, he succeeded in breaking Tuchel's strategy. Xabi Alanso managed to take advantage of Bayern Munich's wide play, because before the match Alonso knew that Bayern Munich would play by pressing high against Leverkusen's build-up. In that match, Xabi managed to damage Munich's structure by luring Munich to the wing, and then Leverkusen made a quick attack to the other side or attacked directly when Munich's defense was not yet perfect. This strategy was successful for Leverkusen, two Leverkusen goals were created with this pattern.

Indeed, in this match Leverkusen was not dominant in possession of the ball, but the Leverkusen players controlled the match through out-off-possession situations. They control space, can trap when Munich has the ball, so Leverkusen players know when to press, know which areas to press, and they patiently wait for Munich to hold the ball.

This is a brilliant strategy from Xabi Alanso, so it is not surprising that they are still unbeaten. With a difference of 5 points from Munich, my prediction is that this season Leverkusen will make new history by winning the Bundesliga title for the first time.

Tuchel will just have to see how well he can work on his team to get them to improve and strat producing good results as they were in their glory days when they had their dominance all over the bundesliga but then this season it's really interesting and good to see another team taking over and stopping the norm that has existed with a particular team . Munich did perform well in the game but then as usual what matters at the end is the result of the game and that was what Leverkusen was able to produce at the end.

Yes, you are right. I also think this way because Bayern Leverkusen have been unbeatable throughout the season; they have performed well from the start of the season until now. And from the way their performance is going, I think they will continue this way, and if they continue, I think they will be the winners of the league this season. However, Bayern Leverkusen are the favorites this season. And Bayern Munich have not shown any consistency, that we will say they are fully ready for the race of the tittle this season, unlike Bayern Leverkusen, who have been showing how good they are throughout the season, and again, even if Bayern Munich get lucky by winning the tittle last season, I don't think the same thing will happen this season because of how Leverkusen are doing. They don't take it easy with any team, so I believe even if they meet with Bayern Munich, they are capable of beating them.

After that game yesterday of Bayern Munich VS Bayer Leverkusen for sure Xavi Alonso did a great job in getting this team into the high spot of the Bundesliga and for sure because of the win of Bayer Leverkusen all debates were set aside Bayer Leverkusen is ready to be champion, and sad to say but another year for Harry Kane without any champion trophy better luck next season I guess, this goes to show that Leverkusen is now the top dog, and because of Xavi Alonso's meticulous coaching inside the team I really think there is no chance for Bayern Munich right now but to sit idle in the 2nd position.

If this was a narrow defeat with a score of 1-0 or 2-1 it wouldn't be embarrassing enough but 3-0 is the score where Bayern Munich has lost face in this match. They did not endanger Leverkusen's goal in the slightest and it was Leverkusen who destroyed their goal with 3 goals without reply. I didn't expect Bayern Munich to be this weak when facing their rivals to win the Bundesliga title this season. Xabi Alonso seems to have no gaps and he can always provide impressive performances through his players.

I wonder whether Tuchel's fate is now starting to be threatened? because the difference of 5 points can be said to be a warning to the coach and I don't think the owners of Bayern Munich will remain silent if this season they fail to defend the Bundesliga title. On the other hand, this is Leverkusen's 31st win and one more win takes them to Bayern Munich's achievement of being an unbeaten team in 32 matches in all competitions. I think Leverkusen can reach that record and even surpass it this season. Leverkusen's squad is very even and they don't always rely on strikers to score goals and as we saw, Grimaldo and Frimpong also scored 1 goal each in last night's match.

For sure it was cleverly done by Xavi Alonso, and it was an embarrassing moment for the champion to have this kind of disgraceful display, I surely think that Thomas Tuchel  didn't like his position at the moment and really badly wanted to be out of Bayern Munich at the moment it could be that because he wanted to be out badly on Bayern Munich, I really just wish that this match will be an outlooked for Bayern Munich or a stepping stone for them to be a good enough team, and not a way to take them down or feel that they can not get this the next time they meet.

The defeat of Bayern Munich wasn't a surprise but c'mon 3 goals to nothing? That's a very low situation for Bayern! Now Bayer Leverkusen created a 5 points difference secure zone around them while Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund are getting closer to Bayern but I doubt they could overtake it.

I think almost all of us see Leverkusen's ability in this match and I agree this time Leverkusen is at a different level it doesn't make sense for me Leverkusen can defeat Bayern Munich easily even Bayern Munich without a goal, this is something strange right? Yeah VfB Stuttgart was able to win the match when they hosted Mainz with a pretty good score of 3:1. The progress of the match in the first half, precisely approaching the halftime break, VfB Stuttgart was able to create 2 goal opportunitie and in the end of the first half, VfB Stuttgart took the lead in the first half after the second half, VfB Stuttgart increased the total goals to 3 goals and the home team conceded one goal. in the 76th minute but still VfB Stuttgart won and got full points.

I wanna give credit for xabi by helping the club to perform even better in the second leg compared to the first leg. Bayern munich can do nothing against leverkusen which has proven that bought kane was not a suitable solution to fix the problem owned by the club. Bayern munich officials are looking for the way to recruit xabi from leverkusen but im not really sure whether xabi will able to be recruited coz he is still having long term contract with leverkusen. That's amazing performance from leverkusen to get three points without even conceded a goal against bayern munich. This is a setback for bayern munich coz its 1 billion club must be losing aaginst leverkusen which was using cheap squad.

Xabi has been able bringing something different to the leverkusen. The club is playing even more consistent compared to the previous season. This is why bayern officials are getting upset with the performance from the club under tuchel. I do aware that if bayern muncih is willing to bring xabi alonso to the squad.

If Leverkusen is able to finish this season continuing to be in the top position then they can get the title, their performance so far has been very good. This was truly very interesting match and of course very proud match for Leverkusen because they managed to win with big score without goal back, 3 - 0, an achievement that is etched in the history of German football.
Leverkusen has managed to get the full 3 points by beating the strongest team in the Bundesliga in its history, and Dortmund, who are usually runners-up and contenders for the title, have now also experienced a setback, which has opened the way for Leverkusen to emerge as champions.

I thought that Bayern Munich with Tuchel would try to beat Leverkusen but in reality everything turned around very significantly and now the proof that Leverkusen is champion team is also becoming clearer.
They just need to be more stable and consistent in the future by maintaining their position and becoming champions, Leverkusen must be able to continue to win so that Bayern Munich cannot get close to getting points until the season ends.

Guirassy missed some games due to being on international duty. Meanwhile Stuttgart couldn't become very consistent. They must have played 5 games without him or his playing for a short time.

There were 3 wins and 2 losses in those games. But as they won their last three league games they are still ahead of Dortmund by three points. But they will hope for Guirassy to be in the starting eleven as well in a short time. He is really like a game changer for Stuttgart this season. They would have more chance for the Champions League with him.

We will see Leverkusen in the UCL competition next season and we will see how they try to compete in the most prestigious competition for European football.
Dortmund lost its place and the only ones who have chance to play well in the next season are Leverkusen and Bayern Munich.

When someone told me that to win the title in the UCL you must at least be able to beat three strong clubs such as Madrid, Manchester City and Munich, Leverkusen easily beat Munich a few days ago and they really deserve to enter the UCL next season and also win the title. This season's Bundesliga also breaks Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga. Xabi Alonso must be ready to show his quality as a coach not only at the domestic league level, but also in other European leagues. more than any match they will face apart from clubs in the Bundesliga.

Stuttgart are back to business after two consecutive defeats, now they have won 9 points from three matches, and what is more impressive is that they have returned to being a productive team because they scored 11 goals from three matches, but to continue fighting for the title, Stuttgart's chances are closed because they are already behind enough away from Bayer Leverkusen.
What they have to focus on is how to maintain their performance so that their position in the top four is not shifted by other teams such as Leipzig who still have a chance of getting a place in the Champions League because they are only six points apart from Stuttgart and three points from Dortmund.
