I consider the main reason  for Bayern Munich's defeat to  be a lack of confidence among the team's players. The team would not have faced such an accident if the players were confident. It is unthinkable that a big team like Bayern Munich, despite  having a strong squad, will lose  three matches in a row. The Champions League match was very important for the team. so i don't think a 5-point lead is much. there are still 36 points up for grabs this season. there could still be one or two surprises in the last 12 matchdays.
however, leverkusen haven't had a coach as good as xabi alonso in the last 20 years. xabi is a successful guy who always wants to win.

It can't be just Tuchel's fault, I do agree that he is not managing the team all that great but at the same time I believe that the players are not as good as they used to be AND they have injury issues. When you give a manager a team that is getting older and not playing as well as they used to, and a lot of injured players then the manager could do only so much during the same period. He had just a few bad games in a row, rest of the season he was fine.

I am not here to defend Tuchel and say that he is an amazing manager, he is alright, should he be fired and get a new and hopefully better manager? Sure, that could help if they can find someone better than him, that's not the point, they need to change players as well, and even with same players, without injury, they could do better.

Bayern Munich's three consecutive defeats in the last five matches were truly very disappointing and Tuchel must take full responsibility for the bad results obtained by his team.
