Dortmund previous two friendly matches showed how bad they were, first Dortmund had to be willing to be held back with 1 - 1 draw against Erzgebirge Aue and in this match Dortmund played very irregularly and well structured.
Secondly, as you have explained, Dortmund had to endure the shame of being completely slaughtered by team that was not very popular like BGPU with surprising results, these two matches are still bad start for Dortmund in the future.
Today they also just finished friendly match against Cerezo Osaka, in the first half Dortmund appeared very impressive by winning 3 goals without reply, but in the second half Cerezo Osaka managed to score 2 goals, if there were mistakes it might end in draw.

I also wanted to bet on Dortmund, but I was afraid because of the odds and the fact that they had lost their last game. Finally, N. Sahin won his first game as Dortmund's manager. Dortmund had an excellent first half, scoring three goals in a period of five minutes. Well, it is amazing that they won this match to make their fans happy after disappointing them the previous time. And again, if you look deeply again, you’ll be able to see that Bayern Leverkusen’s performance was way above theirs and there was no chance for them last season to win against them. Both of their meetings in there last league head to head were lost to them, that was a a clear indication that Bayern Leverkusen was unstoppable last season and will do anything to have won that league which they did. Bayern Munich have another chance next season to fight for the league title and Kompany should lead them through to achieve that. Being a great player in the past, the reality does not guarantee that he will be good when he becomes a coach. There have been many examples such as Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney and several other  names who failed to become successful coaches. It doesn't matter about Kompany who during his career as a player was good because anyway, in his coaching career it is very possible that the results can be very different.
