That match really pumped up my adrenaline. I knew Leverkusen would win but I didn’t expect so many goals. It seems Leverkusen this season is still the same as last season. They always have dramatic games and score goals in the last minutes. When Mönchengladbach scored in the 85th minute I thought the match was over. But I remembered this is Leverkusen and they never give up until the end. Florian Wirtz’s penalty really put an end to my adrenaline. I’m sure it was one of the most stressful moments for Wirtz because one shot could have decided the match.

I also think that Leverkusen this season is still hard to beat and even if they lose a few matches, it won’t be that many because Leverkusen often make comebacks in the last minutes of matches like last season. Yes Leverkusen does not seem to have dropped much, it can even be said that it is much more prepared for this season. Leverkusen are back with their stoppage time goals to win the match just has they used to do it last season, it was an entertaining match but Leverkusen needs to be more careful this time around they might not be always lucky this season. They almost bottled a 2 goal lead and were lucky they conceded a penalty late in the game, they need to strengthen their defense because they concede too many goals and it’s bad for defending champions.
