Hey man, do you realize that you're complaining about amazing buying opportunity?
It's almost a sin not to take advantage of such... ehm... low price.
DCT is a great, working tech. Transactions are very quick, github code and documentation are very good, team is expanding constantly and overall everything's looking pretty serious and good. Decentralized storage, IPFS and related stuff are buzz words of near future.
Price is like this because overall situation in crypto world. Too much "investors" got burned by buying tops last December.
Also, bittrex lost a lot of volume because of restrictions and binance.
I think that team is taking a good approach by maintaining hackathons and not paying for exchange listings.
Hackathons are good for creation of new startups on the top of DCT tech and overall development of ecosystem.
Paying for exchange listings is bad because that usually cost alot of money and received value is questionable and obviously short term.
Year ago Poloniex was the main exchange, then Bittrex, now Binance... tomorrow something new? decentralized exchange? who knows...
Best thing to do now is buy some and wait for SDK release.
DCT needs user friendly software development kit, newbie tutorials and some good apps to serve as examples what can be achieved using DCore tech.

Hmm, last commit was mid may. Interesting to see IPFS as a storage solution. Shift uses it too. I wonder whether this can really hold up in the long run. I assume that all these projects (Decent, Shift, native IPFS, Lisk wants to use it as well as far as I know) will be pretty much walled gardens, where the content isn't really interchangable. But since they are all using the same protocol as a means of file storage, maybe a type of crosschain collaboration would be in order?

I mean, while Shift and Decent are working on somewhat different use cases, they and other projects are competing for the same group of storage providers. This could lead to interesting consequences.

Why would this be problem for the Decent team? Price is relative and why would they be care about relatively cheap prices? And why do you? Buy more if you want in, sell if you want out. Build on the platform if you want to participate.

Yes you can use this wallet it is official from the team. I'm using this since the launch and it working smoothly without any serious problem. You should have to keep safe your passphrase to make it recover in case if you forget your login details.

Now what happened suddenly so many people start crying this is scam project even few days ago it was looking promising. As I think this is happening because of slow progress and listing on exchange is also going on very slow but they are trying to raise awareness and in future they will find nice way.
