Lots of panic with BTC dropping as well, would expect a bull run to begin the coming months not just whale manipulation to push the price in either direction.

There is nothing wrong with many projects like Decent directly when it is talk about decline in their market price. Many projects are still holding good ratio against Bitcoin but they can't confront two sided market to sustain against fiat as well. This time will be over with the rebound in BTC's market so need not to panic just let the things flow with water.

Bitcoin Garden: DECENT’s First Hackathon Introduced Great Ideas
https://bitcoingarden.org/decents-first-hackathon-introduced-great-ideas/

With all the “buzz” around blockchain technology these days, businesses are pushing hard to enter the space and even harder to obtain a viable, real-world ready product. Blockchain is still in the early stages of adoption, mostly driven by startups, although some large companies like IBM, Walmart and Visa have opened research and development operations and are starting to get their feet wet in the innovative tech as well.

Even still, we have yet to see many real-world use cases or actual products using blockchain technology. However, this might change very soon due to a new phenomenon pumping life into accelerated production and developmental efforts, called “hackathons”.

The term is a portmanteau of “hack” and “marathon” (hack as in diving into progressing technologies, not as a criminal act, and marathon as in an endurance style event since they usually last only 1 or 2 days without many breaks). This kind of creative challenge is a powerful way of getting ideas and projects off the ground, in a very short time period.

Hackathons draw in programmers, developers, graphic designers, and other tech savvy professionals from around the world to collaborate together on new projects with a specific industry or goal in mind. Although they aren’t anything new in the technology sector and have been around since Canada circa 1999, some blockchain companies are applying this old school tool to the new technology and it seems to be very advantageous....

Reaching out Ivan is a good idea in fact. He would probably be able to analyze deep and see the potential of DCore.

I hope someone is right about the bull run soon! We have been saying this again and again for months now. Everyone expected it to start during April/May. Hopefully we'll have a great summer.

But it will all be gone, today all altcoin is contaminated by bitcoin and it all leads to a very long time, so it's pretty long if you want to get a bull.

Wouldn´t surprise me if we have a lot more consolidation in bitcoin ( alts too) before even some rise

Potential or flaws of it... either way, i would like it. Since i am not a coder and my limited knowledge tells me that decent is something new. But i really can't tell anything on how clean the code is.

Who can I contact about the bounties?

Have you tried to contact the telegram group? reminding you that the bounty the distribution schedule must have ended : https://decent.ch/en/decent-bounty-hunters-read-this/

It ended, but botija asked for his bounties months ago. He posted about it last year. He has been quite active here.

Unfortunately I haven't heard from anyone.

I wouldn't call it contaminated. I know what you mean by saying that. You mean that there are other things than Bitcoin that might make sense even if Bitcoin fails. But to me it is understandable for now that it's still very closely related. Bitcoin is the prime example how things can work at scale, and if it fails it would be bad for the perception of decentralization in general. At least for a short period of time.

Overall we are going to see minor changes in prices of tokens continuously until that bull returns of what everyone was talking and is still waiting. It seems that liner trading is going to be for another period of time so don't have big expectations if you are planning anything. This market always move unexpectedly so it can be tomorrow or in a month. Decent being built on its own chain will remain highly attractive for investors.

Agreed, would expect the whales to use it as a pump and dump for the time being causing unexpected spikes. IMO DCT will do well in time, a year or two more. As long as they start reaching the deadlines they set themselves or nobody will believe in the project.

I never received my bounty. Submitted my address during the claim process. I've been away and haven't been on the forums and now checking, I didn't receive any coins. Here is the message I sent Decent_bounty in November.

This msg is to claim my bounty for wearing the signature in the past. I generated an account, this is it. ub67cc1d68f2a39ed7dcb0d23225a6cf3
