I was curious what brand pdu everyone is using  and what type of plug end it has?? Do these have built in surge protection? I currently use multiple corsair psu hooked up to some battery backups but no way to remotely reset them while I am away. Sorry, I am fairly new to this

KeepKey is a fork of the Trezor. For the time being, it's the same product.

Granted it's cooler looking, but it's also much more expensive. I'd rather get two Trezors at full price (it's a good idea to have a backup unit) and have some money left over.

Are you saying 2 20 together?   Like the ones with the bar between them hooking them together.  Or are you saying two separate breakers?  (40 amp would be a TON to give a window AC I cannot imagine any window ac having this, that is why I want you to check).    Does your fusebox have written inside what goes to what?  If you had a good electrician it will.... if lazy one it will be blank.

But on PDU I owe it to phil.  You can get them much cheaper on ebay they the stores.  I was looking at amazon and such and used working PDU's show up a lot on Ebay.

But I think find out more about the fusebox and go from there.  But if you feel uncomfortable with power get a electrician as there is a lot of power.  So it all kinda depends on you.

It's hard to tell being across the internet.  I know I have a lot to my kitchen to.   I'm hoping it is written on the inside of his box.

But so far I'm not sure if him looking at it is good.  I don't like to tell people to go check in it unless they are confident.  And electrician will give quote for free if you are wanting 240 and not conformable doing it.   Some are much better then others at telling you what your current setup is.

Its one outlet that fit in the standard 2 small 120v, its not rated 40A+ like for the one for an oven. I'd be more worried about the power distribution and the wires behind the outlet.

You can watch some Youtube videos on how to install 220 to get an idea of what the electrician will be telling you.

Do you have a voltmeter?  If you so can find out if it's 120/240 very easily.

20A home circuits are not uncommon and are often 120v.  240v outlets look much different, as notlist3d linked.

That's a NEMA 6-20p receptacle, 20amps 220/240 volts because it's double pole outlet (two hot 110/120 wires) installed with 20 amp double pole breakers with 12/2 line.

I got my batch 7 online yesterday and the noise is horrible and I used to think S5 is noisy.
Fans run over 4000rpm and blades are about 50C, air is traveling too fast, screams and resonates badly.
3 x DPS-600 powers take 1400W from wall, I tested power draw upto 1600W.
 
Customs took 1BTC for sale tax but I have "free" electrics as garage is heated with S7 so I maybe ROI some day.

Batch 9 better be $1,200/3.3BTC or less because we just hit 600,000Ths. We got a 10%+ diff jump coming in under 4 days. The next diff jump after that looks to be between 10%-20% at this rate. That will be in less than 20 days. Remember that this all compounds on the last diff jumps, so 10% now is equal to what a 15% raise would have been two months ago. It looks like we might be in for another hashrate armageddon.

That said, I just got my "sold out" batch 7 units in. If you look at the jump in the last 2-3 days I'm pretty sure its the fact that we all got the last few batches early this week and wasted no time getting them all online.

I think batch 8 might ship soon too so that will be nice for those who buy them. For the rest of us it will suck because it will mean another jump even sooner than expected. Avalon is shipping another batch right now too so...yeah...I'm a bit worried if both companies keep shipping like this. I think they will. 

One funny thing is that they are ruining their own farms profitability. I guess it doesn't matter as much to the  farms because they get their gear at cost (like $300 per S7 I bet for parts). Its just sad to see this race to the bottom. I was hoping to actually make some money on these, not just hope to break even.
