Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

hello everyone.
i want to know what do you think about gambling bitcoin.. Does Beneficial or more losses?
Share your story here guys!  Grin Grin Grin

Here is my story..
0.7 BTC lost this month to sports gambling. 0.15 just yesterday because of #$@% lancashire.
im sorry to hear that..  Cry Cry
what kind of sports gambling that you do?
yeah.. my friends told me about 2 weeks ago that spotrs gambling like football is very risky, he lost around 200$.
but I salute because he is not angry and sad because he knows that it is a risk.
I don't like gambling that amount of money. Is just waste of my money if I do that.
sPorts gambling is just so risky.
Poker is also risky but I like it is more plan tactic game.
Maybe is wate of money if you lose, but what if you do it for entertaiment? Is almost the same is jus throwing money Tongue
And poker is just difficult if you are a newbie.

Gambling is good if you are that lucky to win most of the time but generally it's wrong when you're more of losing than gaining something from it....

Its way more complex than that, gambling is providing economic growth and entertainment.  Look at all the jobs its creating and how many new games are getting developed.

Okay, gambling is a business that provides that what you mentioned but how many are benefiting from it (like the owners, workers, game developers, smart and lucky gamblers) compared to the  people who are losing from it. There's not once I heard  a story about gambler who got rich, it's always a gambler who lost his fortunes because of gambling. They're most likely to be addicted, winning at first getting excited and trying it again hoping to win more, then they lose more than what they actually gained, then they try it again hoping to get back what they've lost at the end up losing everything. Yeah, just a usual story of a gambler...  Cheesy..

Gambling is generally seen as something wrong by society because it's usually associated with people that has certain problems like ludopathy, which is unfortunate because people like me that enjoy the occasional gamble are affected by this stigma. Of course, I don't care what society says about it and do my thing, but the general notion is definitely very real.

Gambling isnt wrong at all.
in a legal sense, it might not be in some places, however, in a moral sense, having gambling establishments be openly allowed in some places can be considered morally questionable at best, since it will likely contribute to some degenerate's problems with addiction, and might ruin some people's lives.

It's not wrong to gamble. Only some people cant handle it. And so they become addicted.

With those people there's something wrong. Don't play gambling for it.

If your gambling habit is not interfering with your personal life. You are not disconnected with your friends or family, you are not borrowing money to play and gambling is not obsession then it is perfectly fine.
Nowadays I think that smartphone, Facebook and wasting your time on some other activities like that can be more destructive for your life that gambling is.

I never bet what I can't afford to lose, that's a fairly common rule. I enjoy betting on sports games, and I typically stay away from any game modes that leave it up to random chance. Those are too unpredictable, and thus it is incredibly easy to lose money on those games.

Another form of gambling you could say is by investing in cloud mining shares or other similar investments on sites like cex.io, but it's been forever since I've been on that site so it doesn't really matter to me anymore.

I anything can be won with low risk, even if it doesn't net huge rewards, I will bet on it as there is a small chance to lose anything.

This rule is widely use and should be used more often.

Betting is fun and it gives you some kind of kick. So i can't say it is wrong. Just do it with cause and remember to enjoy yourself first.

Some people just can't handle their lose. Thats why play only if you can afford your lose. Dont spend too much if you can't pay it back later, if you keep on winning thats great but when you lose in such number stop it. At least trying to stop for a while before you are going to continue it

It depends on why you are gambling. If you are addicted, it is very wrong indeed.

However, if you do it for fun and don't really care if you win or lose, than gambling can actually be quite nice to do!

Well said. Do it for fun and you have a good time, while earning some money, but you could lose it too.

So play with small acounts and limit your spending.

addicts can't stop gambling, even those people that always justify their gambling habits by saying its all for fun, are all addicts. those people are all knowingly gambling knowing theyll lose whatever they put in, but they keep at it anyways. its just an excuse they tell themselves to convince themselves theyre not degenerate gambling addicts.

This is what I do when I got some extra money left. I play with what I can afford to lose. If I can't afford to lose I just stay home and sit on my money.

Well if you have calculated your monthly income and your monthly bills and your savings. Than yeah gambling is good to do Tongue If you want to waste money.
If I can't afford I just play a poker game that doesn't pay any money Cheesy
