Gambling is not wrong but problem gambling can cause many social problems. This is why government around the world is trying to curb gambling with all the taxes to discourage people from gambling.

Gambling isn't wrong at all. It's just addicting.
And that addiction may lead to something wrong and basically will make gambling wrong. But it does not mean gambling was wrong at all, its just wrong when you are getting addicted to it. Yes it is addicting but that can be avoided by moderating it thus it will all depend to the gambler whether gambling was wrong or not. |

Not really wrong. You can make money with it if you are lucky. But play long enough and you will probably lose.
And do you know someone who is regular gambler and he is treating this as one and only regular job? I don't, because it is almost impossible to live from gambling alone. In the long run you won't be earning and in the best case scenario your lose/win ratio will be dead even. |

The addicting thing must be a wrong thing. Gambling can a right thing if we go gambling only for fun.Nope. Exclude gambling here. It's not the one who can be called a right or wrong. Gambling for fun, so you can called this a right thing? Gambling was created by the human so the wrong here is.. I bet you know now. Humans :O well is always the people who plays are doing wrong, because they always just chase there lose and that is why you are going to be in a bad shape. Gambling for fun us good, but not always if you are just losing your money. Even for fun I don't consider it as a good. Like me, Im playing for fun while doing sports bettings and I can really afford all the money I lose there but if I sum up all the amounts I gambled for fun, I can able to buy a couple of newly released gadgets now or much expensive than those. |

I don't, either. I never seen anyone that live by gambling.  Gambling is never profitable in the long run, you only lose a lot when you gamble for a long run. |

If you are a bookmaker then gambling is profitable but if you are a gambler you usually lose in the end because the gambling mentality usually makes you gamble what you win anyway until eventually you are back where you started but in some cases it differs.
Gambling is wrong when you gamble funds you cannot afford to lose or are using funds that should be used for other purposes like paying the bills or feeding the family.If it reaches that stage then it is not only wrong but you have a dangerous addiction that has become more destructive than enjoyable.
Basically only gamble responsibly with some level of knowledge of the sport/game you are gambling in etc.

Actually it is possible if you ever won big jackpot and you will use that money to start live but it is very rare that someone could hit jackpot but anyway it is not possible too. Btw its quite true that long run you will lose it thats why never make it in a long run. After getting some profit then you should stop and continue it later again so you will not bet it in a long run. I dont believe that people keep on losing without get any winning there so after you win although small profit just stop it and if you want to continue it just make sure to take a break and start it again later |

I know what you're trying to say, that it is the gamblers fault not the gambling sites or casinos, a gambler can get very addicted to gambling and that is bad and there is gamblers that are gambling just for fun and not try to be addicted to it. so as you said it is on the gamblers fault. |

Gambling should be only for fun and gambling sites have to warn their users that they can lose all their money and then they should be more careful , the responsibility is shared between gamblers addicted and the sites owners trying only to earn money without warning the users |

Gambling is not great stewardship of money. But, ten again, fucets at gambling sites are OK. That way, you can gamble for a few minutes w/o losing what you have made. Hey, look at it this way: Winning a higher amount than what the faucet gave you can make for some "free fun" because you never mined or bought it. You just got a drip to try it and it may give you a good win one or two times.

It is not even people are bad but money is the one bad. Most of the people will start gambling like thinking just a game but after playing some times than most of them thinks they can make easy money from gambling than the problem will start. So as long as people are not targeting money than gambling is good. |

I guess you meant the trail accounts. If you play with the fake money then you will never be able to win or lose anything. In case if your luck favors you more, then you will be missing all of your chances just for not taking any risk. At the same time, fake money never give you the real pleasure of thrills, we can enjoy from gambling. |
