The world is already moving away from paper money towards digital transactions. With technology growing day by day in our life, usage of virtual currencies is also increasing.Bitcoin not only offers low cost transactions but also it would be helpful for the unbanked people who dont even have accounts.Once, when paypal was introduced, many found it as a way to send money out from countries where it might be seized.Today paypal has grown as a main source of sending money and in the future, bitcoin might even get the place where paypal is found today.

Paper money will always survive especially in poor countries where people don't have access to internet and are not aware about bitcoins so we cannot expect them to start using bitcoins as they will be much comfortable in using paper money Obviously, it is not only about poor countries Even the most developed but extended countries such the US have backward places where you can meet wild animals such as bears and pumas walking the streets of some small town (say, in Alaska). Quite naturally, in such places cash is the king, and it will likely remain so in the foreseeable future. But it is not just about that either. There can be blackouts, Internet connection issues, various "acts of God" and other Black Swan events. In other words, cash is not going anywhere

I cannot rule out the possibility of paper money to dissappear but it will take more than a century. Most digital currencies including Bitcoin are still in the middle stage and therefore cannot make paper money to dissappear so quickly.
You don't have to rely on Bitcoin to kill off paper money though. Digital fiat will be the end of paper currency long before bitcoin will. Digital fiat already dominated the US economy. Far more value is exchanged digitally than physically, perhaps even more absolute transactions as well.

Some countries I think would or will replace their paper currency with the digital ones that is those countries who are wealthy but to those who are not might just retain their system as their access in this technological advance can't cope up with their living that is they need cellphones or what to connect to internet and proceed with the transactions. It is natural to think that Bitcoin will be the one to trigger the transformation of fiat to cryptocurrency as it is the leading digital coin and much more reputable and advantageous in many aspects which everyone would like but it may or may not be Bitcoin because the can just create a cryptocurrency to be used within the country in order to replace what they have now so the government can control it but not fully control it if you know what I mean so that they can put come taxes on it.

If governments control crypto currency there isn't any advantage while using it. Paper money is good and it can be the country currency, no problem. We just want to use crypto currency and any other currency we want. I think it's hard to ban paper money, as everyone needs to have access to internet and in every country there are persons who don't have access to it.

Even with the emergence of crypto currency, i doubt that will be the end of paper money. Paper money will be continually used it the end of time itself especially in third world countries where debit, credit cards and crypto currencies are still a mystery. Some people are still using the barter system of trading.

Who gets in the way of paper money? I use them often and I have doubts that they will ever cease to exist. Bitcoin is not a competitor to them. This is a completely different system and it does not need to be compared with fiat.

Paper money will cease to exist. First, their production costs money, the second counterfeiting brings damage to the economy, in the third government does not control, and current trends lead to gain control over people. Be it bitcoin or the national currency is not important.

I do not think that the question is clear enough in the OP because there is paper money that is fiat and paper money that is not. There has not been one fiat system to last but water and food have always been currencies. I think that the global economy is too large for paper money to not exist,

Even with a duration of 10 to 20 years, we can't be sure that they will be accepting digital currency especially the poor countries. Paper money are the type of money we are used to, so it is really hard adjusting a group of people using these digital currencies. If you ask me, it will be more in the future maybe 100 to 200 years.

In return, the state will have full control over the money. Do you think this is a weak incentive for the state?

Be it bitcoin or the national currency is not important Without telling the specific terms it is no more than empty verbiage I could just as well claim that everything will cease to exist and now try to prove me wrong. Other than that, even if some stupid government bans cash from circulation today, people will just start using some foreign currency bills and coins tomorrow for cash payments and settling accounts between themselves. There is no point in forbidding something when you lack the power to enforce the ban. Moreover, it will be counterproductive since people will just start distrusting their government even more than usual

I don't think that problem is technology or lack of it but the fact is that world economies are more or less still functioning on conservative and old fashioned way and paper money is part of that. Also national currency is part of national identity and sovereignity and that is also the reason why governments don't like to give that up.

Digital money if for people only who have business online and if there is no need to do it, why would they adopt.

That is very straightforward thinking and indeed true. Paper money is like "I want it with me" thing. You can not really loosen up cash from you. Moreover, my guess is there are people who save their money in hard cash to cut off the taxes by not showing up the money into bank accounts. Why people with billions of dollars would even present their money into banks if the money is coming from wrong way. And I'm guessing there are lot more people like this.
