The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

As we know that bitcoin is decentralized which is bitcoin has no central control and central managament like other payment procesor i.e paypal, so who will advertise bitcoin? of course us,its totally free all we have to do just spread bitcoin to everyone, just tell them about bitcoin, but to advertise on advertising company i think its the role of owner service or company which related with bitcoin

I think that bitcoin definitely needs more advertising. More people need to know about bitcoin and I think one of the ways that people can do this is for shops to start accepting bitcoin. More people will see the signs saying 'Bitcoin accepted here' and realise that bitcoin is the future.

There is no need to spread bitcoin around. Those who need to know already know. But they just dont want to risk at bitcoin.

First of all I dont know bitcoin from the start. I didnt even see it in ads or anything. Even in social media or newspaper. I dont have a clue what it is. It is from a friend that told me what it is. I guess that is how bitcoin could really be advertised and explanation can be done also through telling it personally. To clarify and get them excited through this currency.

Certainly the word of mouth is the best way to spread the knowledge about bitcoin, but we need more to get it on the next level.
As I said before, I don't think that simple advertising would be of much help here - what we need are more innovative ways to use bitcoins that people will want to use, because it will solve existing problems, be that high costs, time to process or complexity of use.

I think the best way would be to make the University of Bitcoin in order to provide college degrees related to it. This will help people gain interest on it and help in Bitcoin's mass adoption. Just my thoughts.  Roll Eyes

Too costly, and no a cost efficient result. This is a good idea, for education purposes to create new bitcoin scientists, but not good for marketing.

It's far easier with billboards, internet advertising campaigns, and telling news agencies to write bitcoin articles.

Today guys i ordered a bitcoin sticker.
I am thinking to put that on my laptop and that would be a good advertisement?
Maybe in the near future a phone case with a bitcoin logo would be good.

There are alot of scams around Bitcoin, and really, most people really just don't understand it in general. People won't use something they don't understand. I try to explain it everytime i'm asked.

My cute merchandise for Bitcoin is on sale if you'd like to be so nice as to take a look. ^_____^

It's in the OP. Much love and hugs for your support, of course! It'll help advertise the currency for whoever wears them.

Yes they are some sort of spreading bitcoin awareness to public. I too strongly believe that more promotion are must needed for bitcoin to eveolve itself to be a global currency in near future. For that we must look for some sort of advertisement in anyway we can do is most preferable.

I think one of the best advertising method is to have each and every bitcoin users to play the role of ambassador. I remember reading one of the thread here in this forum about how an individual rather than telling how good bitcoin is, might as well show his/her friends how to use it and how it can function like a real currency. It's like action speaks louder than words.

Just make a Bitcoin movie with famous celebrities, like Robert Downey Jr or Will Smith, or maybe even Harrison Ford (lol) Then they would use Bitcoin in the movie to pay for stuff like food or other goods. People would then become curious about it and would want to know more about Bitcoin. Just my opinion.  Roll Eyes
