Bitcoins Have become an awesome mode of payment in today's life, but how will people know about it without advertising? It's a known thing that to get more consumers, you need to advertise your product, similarly btc needs some more advertising, especially in places where btc is still used rarely

we can do it via integration in the biggest platform out there, like youtube facebook and google

if you come up with a tipping project, integrated for youtube facebook etc...it would be a win situation

Well i really hope someone has the skills to make bitcoin youtube get more attention,would be great someone make something and talk a bit about bitcoin,but how can someone do or say something that will attract attention ?

It's very hard to advertise decentralized thing like Bitcoin is. Why? Well advertising is expensive and someone needs to pay for it and getting people to pay for things when you are decentralized is much harder than it seems.

I would rather invest the money that we allocate for possible advertising into a development. We need a strong and robust product that delivers promised. If we have this, people will come to us in my opinion.

It's very hard to advertise decentralized thing like Bitcoin is. Why? Well advertising is expensive and someone needs to pay for it and getting people to pay for things when you are decentralized is much harder than it seems.

I would rather invest the money that we allocate for possible advertising into a development. We need a strong and robust product that delivers promised. If we have this, people will come to us in my opinion.

In my honest belief, great concepts eventually advertise themselves. People see it, take it and spread the word.

We just have to change our total approach to reach a wider audience. I don't know how much time we have left to do that though.

Since there is no central institution to profit from such advertisement, since everybody would profit from it partialy - weather they invested in advertisement or not.
But rest assured - bitcoin with it's structure and constantly progressing services will make public and followers for themselves.

My question is who is going to fund this sort of thing.  Will it be community funded,and if so who is going to manage it.  A lot of these steps need to take place in order to have some success at advertising.

Great concepts (slowly but surely) advertise themselves. Sometimes it can have a domino effect. You tell one person, then they tell another, then those people tell several others, and so on. Of course greater opportunities for larger advertising will be needed, but we can't just jump from step A to step Z in a night without the proper funding. We will gradually obtain the funding through patience and vigorous work. We just have to plan, work hard, take our time and believe in our concepts and hone them to the best of our abilities.

Our time will come if we just stop doubting ourselves, and just believe.

I think that are very few they which don't agree with the fact that needed more advertising to make bitcoin more known. The "why" are to many but the example of Coca Cola (which is a world giant) is one of the most significant.

So i think that the problem which must be discussed could be another: "how to make true that"? In which way is possible to make possible the work of this "tool"? Coca Cola has its owners which work for their pockets. Bitcoin has only its followers which are everyone for itself and God for everyone. In other words the million dollar question is: How to make possible the advertising of bitcoin?

Maybe Bitcoin Foundation can play a decisive role in this direction.... But what we can do to move it?

Yes! Bitcoin needs alot more exposure for it to take off and be widely accepted as a alternative payment method. Advertisements does this fairly well.

In 2011 google says that the world population is 7 Billion.

There is a must to we advertise bitcoin at radio,at tv at magazines ,we need some advertising company that makes some fund to advertisement with community,meaning all should donate something ,and when the pot reach the minimum to advertise it should be done,but who to trust our bitcoins to make it advance.Coca cola makes their announcements to childs,you may see they are targeting childs..... new costumers..... only focus into them these .

You just have to relax, and take it step by step to make enough money to contribute to that kind of advertisement. It takes millions, but you cannot make a million overnight. I wish you could, but you can't.

Well, I disagree. Great things do need advertising nowadays and we all know that.

Just name one thing which is great and we know it without advertising. I mean a human-made thing not one of the bounties of Nature of course.

If we do not advertise bitcoin, the adoption will be slower.

If we do not educate people about bitcoin, advertising would be worthless.. We need to make the image of bitcoin more fun or entertaining + advertise it's pros.

The education comes with the advertisement, so it isn't a concern.

I agree that we should combine both, advertisement and education to make Bitcoin more popular.

No. That's bragging. We don't want to come off egotistical or arrogant.

Let's let our greatness speak for itself. Also going off of what that other user mentioned, bitcoins fluxuate from one price to another. We don't want a fixed price.

Okay, great.   That was just my suggestion how to attract people to learn about Bitcoin. If you have more intelligent ideas, well, that's great, I don't want to come off egotistical or arrogant either.  

But I still think we can use t-shirts with writings only I'd change the writing to:

No t-shirt should be saying anything about price....

Besides, I'm the only one that's making fashion merchandise here. I suggest everyone else should come up with their own ideas and stop trying to take other people's ideas...think about it. If you do what everyone else is doing, that's automatic competition. You want to put out a product or service that is 100% different. Something that's never been suggested or done before.

For example: I am also sculpting handmade bitcoin Gangster chains soon. Never been done, and will sell pretty quickly. Come up with your own plan, please.

I think the best way is when third parties advertise for their service in bitcoin.
