^^ I think Osaka has the momentum right now, after beating Coco, she looks very confident and again, started to be the crowd favorite.
And also another crowd favorite in the doubles have come to an end. Williams/Fernandez was beaten by Townsend/Siniaková. I do hope that Williams run will continue as it seems she is very happy in the US Open and again the crowd is behind them.
Alcaraz vs Djokovic, - gonna be a classic one, but I have Alcaraz here.
I also bet on Alcaraz, who seems to me to be the most talented young player, the only one who, if he beats Djokovic, can reach the final and beat Sinner in turn, who is currently the strongest in the tournament, if he gets through this one he can win another tournament.

I really like Osaka's story. She has overcome many hardships with mental health issues and so on. And also people shouldn't forget, she got a child only 2 years ago. Being back on the tour after such a short time off is amazing . I hope she can go further in this one because I really believe she totally deserves it. Also obviously she is very likable and humble, which makes it even easier to root for her.
Yeah. She in epic form in this tournament and watching her take down Coco so easily earlier was something else. I feel that she might not go all the way thanks to Sabalenka standing in her path. I also bet on Alcaraz, who seems to me to be the most talented young player, the only one who, if he beats Djokovic, can reach the final and beat Sinner in turn, who is currently the strongest in the tournament, if he gets through this one he can win another tournament.
Alcaraz is a special player in my opinion since he focuses on winning while having fun which is not something you see everyday and is pretty uncommon. The dude knows how to entertain which is why he is my current favorite tennis player.

Eala vs Varvara Lepchenko got suspended because of heavy rain. The match will resume at 2 AM PH time.
I’m still rooting for Eala to pull through in the 2nd round. She already dropped the first set, but now it’s in the 3rd and things are still pretty close. Really hoping she gets the win -I can’t watch it live though, too early for me.
This is Guadalajara Open (WTA).
edit : and she advances to the qf

Looks like Osaka's dream run has ended thanks to Anisimova who fought back after losing the first set pretty impressively. On the other hand, Sabalenka defeated Pegula after losing a set in a similar manner to advance to the final.
Am expecting Sabalenka to win and I hope Anisimova gives it her all properly. Am also excited for the Alcaraz - Djokovic duel along with the Sinner - Auger duel.

And then we have one of the crowd favorite in Naomi Osaka beating Karolína Muchová. When was the last time we have seen Osaka in the semi finals? She will be facing Anisimova next, so gonna be a tough match for her.

Being back on the tour after such a short time off is amazing . I hope she can go further in this one because I really believe she totally deserves it. Also obviously she is very likable and humble, which makes it even easier to root for her. Yeah, unfortunately, our favorite was booted out already. She has a good chance to win against Anisimova. But Anisimova was really big in the tie break and she forces Naomi to make a lot of mistakes in those crucial stretch in the second set, and again, I thought that Osaka has this game in the bag. But she lost, the score is, 6–7 (4), 7–6 (3), 6–3. While on the other women's match, there are no upset, as Sabalenka come back from 1 set down. Aryna Sabalenka defeated Jessica Pegula in the women’s singles semifinal with a score of 4–6, 6–3, 6–4. So in the women's final, Sabalenka vs Anisimova.

We watched the highlights of Muchova v Osaka and Swiatek v Anisimova and I commented that of the 4 players, Osaka looked to be the best. I found the highlights of Swiatek v Anisimova torture to watch, so many unforced errors. But it wasnt to be for Osaka, it was close though with 2 tie breaks. Sabalenka beat Pegula which I had bet on, it was a sure bet really. Sabalenka v Anisimova in the final. This is a real pedigree final, hopefully it will transpire into a great match, I think it will go the full distance, I will be betting accordingly I think.

Yeah, they’ll be facing off in the finals. I checked my bookie and Sabalenka is the favorit - no surprise since she’s ranked No. 1 in the world. What caught my attention though is the head-to-head. If I’m not mistaken, Anisimova leads 6–3. That’s why I’m taking a shot on the underdog here. Over in the men’s division, we’ve got Novak vs Alcaraz, with Novak actually coming in as the heavy underdog. On the other semi it’s Sinner vs Felix. So most likely, if both favorites win, we’ll see a Wimbledon rematch: Sinner vs Alcaraz.

A canadian victory (that anyway it's not an easy outcome) is quoted @19 not really a good semi with those odds as it basically says Sinner will win all day. meanwhile, the Alcaraz vs Djokovic match is ongoing, Alcaraz is already up 2–0 in sets, so Djokovic will need a huge comeback if he wants to turn this around. If anyone’s interested in betting on him now, the odds are really tempting.

If anyone’s interested in betting on him now, the odds are really tempting. So it's the best of the men's division, Alcaraz vs Sinner in the finals for this year. Sinner is the slight favorite, so it's going to be another hard time for us on who will be getting in this years US Open. I'll probably go with the over 41.5 here @1.88, I find value in this odds and so be it. In the women's side, Sabalenka is the clear favorite as per odds, I'm going to bet on the over 21.5 @1.76. As much as Amanda is playing good, Aryna is a notch level higher in the women's side. Best of luck to everyone again. And hope that we can win some money in the finals.

Vamos Alcaraz! The way he comfortably brushed aside Djokovic despite trailing 3 game points in the second set just goes to show what an amazing comeback king he truly is these days. Also, Auger seriously pushed Sinner though it wasn't enough.
Sinner vs Alcaraz : Alcaraz(My bet) and Anisimova vs Sabalenka : Anisimova(My bet). Really excited to see how it all ends.

One set win by FAA against Sinner was a bargain offer. I had no chance to bet due the bas time for the mach in EU but It was defintely an interesting chance. At a certain point, as gambler, I am seeing more options by betting AGAINST Sinner and not in favore of him.
Yesterday It was possible get the same profit by risking Just 2 euro on FAA. The same amount/profit with Sinner was expected at 2000 euro! Its really hard to see such defeat by him, but single sets or even single points could reserved huge surprises...

It was an easy route for him going to the finals, 3-0 against a legend. I’m happy with the result though, since Djokovic himself admitted that the young champ is really good. With that statement, he might have even hinted that he’s thinking about retiring soon. Sinner vs Alcaraz : Alcaraz(My bet) and Anisimova vs Sabalenka : Anisimova(My bet). Really excited to see how it all ends.
I like Anisimova too, but I’m still undecided on the men’s final.

There's a very interesting statistic. Novak Djokovic, who reached the semifinals of all four Grand Slams in the 2025 season, failed to win a set in any of them.
After the match, Djokovic said, "I'm not thinking about retirement yet; I plan to play a Grand Slam in 2026." I'm a fan of Novak, but now that he's getting older, he'll only be able to reach the semifinals at most. With luck, he could make it to the finals, but winning the title will be very, very difficult. Still, I admire his continued struggle despite his advancing age.

Yeah. Djokovic ran out of gas in the second set himself which was pretty evident in the 3rd set when he was serving all over the place looking like a defeated man. He can only win another slam now if both Sinner and Alcaraz get injured or something. I like Anisimova too, but I’m still undecided on the men’s final.
Osaka almost won, but Anisimova never gave up and won brilliantly. Sabalenka can shout all she wants, but I don't see her winning easily against a determined Anisimova.

The men’s final is really interesting. Alcaraz vs Sinner.
Their head-to-head in finals so far:
2025 French Open Final – Alcaraz won 2025 Wimbledon Final – Sinner won
So this one feels like the tiebreaker. I think Alcaraz is having a really good run here, so I’d side with him to win. Betting odds: Sinner 1.70 vs Alcaraz 2.08.

(PH) Alex Eala vs Panna Udvardy (HUN)
The Filipina tennis star will square off against Hungary’s Panna Udvardy in the Guadalajara 125 Open final early Sunday(PH time) in Mexico, with history on the line for both players.
Previous match:
Back in April this year, the two had an encounter during the Oeiras Ladies Open in Portugal where Udvardy eked out a 7(4)-6, 6-4 win against the FIlipina ace in the Round of 16.
History in the making: They now reunite at the hard court with both players chasing their respective breakthrough WTA singles title.

Anisimova! That was such a disappointing performance from her thanks to so many unforced errors and double faults when compared to Sabalenka who remained calm and composed despite most of the crowd supporting her opponent.
Another big difference was the serves where Sabalenka overtook Anisimova in a big, big way. Cannot imagine what she would feel after losing in 2 back to back finals without claiming a single set. Smh!

She made history with that win, after losing the first set, she came back strong in the 2nd and 3rd. Now she’s got her first WTA title, and with that victory her ranking has already improved. Anisimova! I wasn’t able to watch the game, but I bet on the underdog. Shame he lost in 2 sets - the 2nd one was almost a win, but he just couldn’t get past the number 1 ranked player. Anyway, time to bounce back with a win. Hopefully we make the right prediction on the men’s final tonight. Alcaraz here.

Alcaraz performs better on both clay and hard courts. Sinner won on grass at Wimbledon, while the US Open is on hard court. While Sinner is the odds-on favorite, Alcaraz will prevail on this surface. I expect it to be a challenging and exciting match. In the women's competition, Sabalenka defeated Anisimova 2-0 to win the US Open.
