Moreover today's match will help Sinner because there are no more chances for Zverev to make enough point!

keep in mind, Berrettini has some of people from Sinner staff ... And this Is not his best surface

Yes he is doing well, he is through to the round of 16 and Musetti and Cobolli
looking to do the same today. actually all the Italian players seem to be getting better.

Darderi won the Marrakech final beating Griekspoor in 2 sets

Cobolli won the Bucharest open last week beating Baez in 2 sets

Even though some too seeds have been beaten we still have Alcaraz, Djokovic
and Ruud in the draw and on the same side of it. I think its most interesting
what Alcaraz and Djokovic do....

Djokovic is already out, beaten Alejandro Tabilo in straight sets. Alcaraz is lucky as he started very slow in the first set, losing 3-6, but eventually he has to dig deeper and get his rhythm to beat Cerundolo 3-6, 6-0, 6-1.

Moving to round of 16, Medvedev vs de Minaur might be a good game, both rank players.

And then Tabilo vs Dimitrov, let's see if the Chilean can extend his winning against the 15 seed. Oh and Tsitsipas is still in this tournament going against Borges.

Djokovic losses again against Tabilo and its a shame for Djokovic,i expected from him to reach at least the semifinals but i guess his age is coming for him and he cannot do anything anymore. Alcaraz is playing hot and cold and i dont see him winning the title,he just aint on that level anymore

It will be a tight match, as both are in equally good shape, but being able to beat Zverev in a long match gives Berrettini more momentum to go further in the tournament.

Djokovic lost to Tabilo like a repeat of last year at the Rome Masters where he lost in 2 sets also from this Chilean player, lost to any player and early in the tournament became common for Djokovic's career in the last 1-2 years, but it does not change the bookmakers to still favor Djokovic.

first set has been won by Musetti and even in the second he has already scored a break point. I am not surprised... but Pay attention to Berrettini when he will plays on "grass" surface ... this is not a minor aspect, and if a player is already in good shape will have a great performance.

Just watching Musetti v Tsitsipas and I'm sorry I didnt put on an over bet because
its gone into the 3rd set. I stopped betting on Tsitsipas over a year ago because
I lost too much on him but he is that kind of player now that against top players
the match is going three sets.


Thats great news for Eala, lets see what she does. Bear in mind we have seen
before where great expectations on players dont necessarily lead to brilliant results.
She will have to deal with the added attention she gets!

Today win of Musetti is the confirm (if needed) that the whole circuit of Italian players is really solid and strong.
I don't care about Monaco. The real interest is for Roma Internazionali since Sinner should be the most favorite and who knows how he will react after such break.
Odds are not yet available (or at least I wasn't able to find anything)...

Yea Musetti did very well today, first time beating Tsitsipas on the 6th match up.
He plays de Minaur, probably a similar task to todays match, this could also be a
three setter?

Definitely Italian Tennis is very strong and collectively Cobboli, Darderi, Berrettini,
Musetti and Sinner  are the strongest nation currently. No other country
has so many top level successful players currently playing.

despite a match not easy at all (failing to win at 5-4) great Musetti who conquers the final of the ATP 1000 in Monte Carlo!
De Minaur seemed able to close the match without difficulty. Instead we have another Italian at the top level

that's a good question. due the fact that he is playing like a diesel I don't know if this is a good chance against an explosive player like Alcaraz.
I will just watch the match, he is going strong but tomorrow is the final...
for sure Musetti has achieved many many important results during this tournament, he has  already achieved a great and unexpected result reaching this level.

Yes, I thought that Musetti has a good chance to beat Alcaraz, specially winning the first set with 6-3 score. But then Alcaraz comes back strong in the second with a dominant 6-1 and that what it, 6-0 in the last set.

Good for Musetti to at least achieved a win and points. However, with Tsitsipas, another let down tournament for him.

I also thought after he won the first set as I thought he needed to that he had a really
great chance to beat Alcaraz but it wasnt to be. He got injured or was carrying an injury.

All of a sudden its a very busy schedule, Barcelona starts tomorrow with the round of 32.
You gotta fancy Alcaraz for the title if he can carry the form from this week to next week!

Would love to see Musetti going far at Barcelona too.

We are approaching the quarter finals in Barcelona with Tsitsipas, Ruud, Rune and
Fils booking their spots in the quarters. Rublev, Alcaraz and de Minaur are
playing tomorrow to secure their spots too.

Musetti didnt even play because of a thigh injury.


Over in Munich Zverev, Shelton, Darderi and Griekspoor are through to the quarters.
This side of the draw is loaded with some top players while the other side that
play tomorrow has Humbert as the top player with Cerundolo. Maybe some nice
betting opportunities await...

Alex Eala ended her Oeiras Ladies Open stint  with a 6(4)-7, 4-6 loss to Panna Udvardy of Hungary in the round of 16.

Yeah, it's a great quarterfinal match on Barcelona Open.

Interesting to see how much Tsitsipas will do against Fils, it's because Fils holds a 2-0 H2H against Tsitsipas, we will see if he can break that or Fils will continue his dominant but very close win against Tsitsipas.

And the odds shows it as Fils is 1.79 the favorite against Tsitsipas at 1.99.
