Probably this Is the best selection of players (at least of Italian players ...) that we can get this year for the slam.
I am not expecting surprises for an Italian final.
Musetti vs Alcaraz (in Roma even if Italian player fight for his spot, there were not really chances...)

Sinner could be able to win vs Djokovic, but the Serbian player Is still a serious threath for anyone.

No gambling at least on pre-match...

I think Alcarez and Sinner should go to the final with ease. Sure Musetti can be a thread but since Alcarez is playing on his best surface (by far) and Musetti just doesn't have the answers for that. For that reason I don't see Alcarez losing more than 1 set in this one.
About Sinner and Joker, is see it similar. Sinner is just too strong and Djokovic has some issues with his body, that already bothered him in previous rounds.

After losing first set now Alcaraz is on his best good comeback in second set with the score of 7–6 with in third set he is having amazing stuff and stun Musetti with the score of 6–0. Playing on his favourite surface is surely big advantage for him with he is now having good touch I am expecting now it's going to be had end in fourth set because Alcaraz is in control and Musetti is losing his grip on this game even after winning first set he needs to be more confident.

Second semifinal is going to be exciting because Djokovic is looking good and have good chance of giving challenge to World no 1 Sinner who is heading for another title which is looking not easy for him after Alcaraz win at Rome.

We sometimes wonder what discussions between players and coaches caused the split.

Too bad for Musetti who had to retire in the fourth set due to injury, the first set was his and the second set was also going well for him but unfortunately he lost through a tiebreak and the third set was unable to win a single game.

Now Alcaraz is just waiting for another semi-final match to find out who will go to the final to be his opponent.
It looks like Alcaraz will be expecting Sinner to make the final, he has a better h2h with Sinner than with Djokovic

It's a good decision to leave when you are injured so that you don't make it more difficult to heal. Alcaraz would have won the last set anyway.

Yet we should not take Djokovich as granted, he still has the stamina and skill to beat the best of players. But whoever Alcaraz may meet in finals, it would be difficult for them to beat Alcaraz.

Sinner was really good today against Djokovic and didnt make much mistakes and that didnt give much Djokovic to come back in this match.  We will again see a final between Sinner and Alcaraz and now its just a classic. We keep seeing this final over and over and i dont know who will win the end. Will be intresting too see

That would have been such a massive achievement for Musetti to reach a
grand slam final but then to get injured, such a bummer when he was playing

Djokovic didnt even manage to take a set off Sinner, and I dont think he had even
any break points. TBH I'm surprised Djokovic even reached the semi's.

Alcaraz v Sinner - another classic match on the way, hard to pick a winner, Sinner
is playing so good but Alcaraz seems at home on vlay?

Sinner is in a class of his own at the moment and Rublev is no canon fodder, but for Sinner he is. By now I begin to think that Sinner could have a career similar to that of the three GOATs. He has three GS titles already and he has the consistency in his game that Alcaraz still wasn't able to find.

Alcaraz is just an overhyped addict, never felt any love for him or his story. Sinner is still young so there is a chance, but I would not speculate about being on the level of the GOATs in the future. All tennis players are just 1 injury away from a career catastrophe and injuries are often chronic if not career killers, that is a major issue. Wait for a few more years to see how he progressed before speculating about it, because at the current point in time he is far off.

I believe you are totally wrong. It is ok of course to share opinions here and my post is as much an opinion as yours is, but he is the best player in the world this moment.

I share your feelings by the way, I never really liked him. However, it is part of reality that performance justifies the argument. Sinner is playing on a level of his own.

You know what I would like to see, but we can't have it? Age of 27 Djokovic vs. Sinner now. That would be amazing.

Anyone betting on Coco Gauff had a good win. I was seeing upto x4 odds for her pre-match. It came as a surprise for me that Coco Gauff won against Aryna Sabalenka.
It's not that they have huge difference but I was hoping Aryna Sabalenka to win this time considering her dedication and relatively lower grand slam trophies she holds. She beat her arch rival and four time French open champion and defending champions Iga Świątek in semifinals but lost against Coco.

Jannik Sinner won the semifinals against Novak Djokovich in a straight set. Janik Sinner vs Carlos Alcaraz is going to be a tough match. Even the bookies are providing exactly same odds for both. Carlos is the defending champion and I believe he have better performance on clay court than Sinner has.

21 years old American Coco Gauff stun no one Aryna Sabalenka in final of Roland Garros 2025 after losing first set on tie-break she had a thrilling comeback with the score of 6–2 and 6–4 this is her second Grand Slam victory in two years.

After losing first set things were completely under her control and she had amazing comeback with good serve and backhand shots which give good success and Sabalenka were completely out of way and never had any chance of comeback in this challenging final. With this win now Gauff is heading for new start of her career and looking for success like her tennis idols Serena and Venus Williams which make history.

wow - I really didnt see that coming, I thought Sabalenka was going to take
another title and stretch her points difference on the rest of the competition.

I started watching it in the first set when it was 4-1 to Sabalenka and I said to my
girlfriend that it was going to be easy for her and would be over in 2 sets but
the first set took 77 minutes and Coco showed serious fighters mentality
to fight to the end.

I wasn't aware that Sinner wasn't able to beat Alcaraz in quite a while now. Alcaraz won the last four matches. I thought Sinner was ahead recently, but not at all. Alcaraz has one more GS title with a total of four, this is a huge opportunity for both to reach impressive things so early on in their careers. I don't know why I thought Sinner was ahead these days. Given how they have played in recent matches, the odds seem to make sense and Alcaraz most likely has a tiny edge over Sinner. I think it is impossible for this match to be over in straight three sets. It's going to be a bad ass challenge for both of them.

I am not sure about the stamina advantage for Alcaraz. Sinner can easily go tight 5 sets himself.

I found this information, but it is from last year and Alcaraz' 5 set record was 12-1 back then. I think one detail could be quite telling and that is the game in Rome. Alcaraz beating Sinner 6-1 there is the second set is important information in my opinion. I would expect a five setter too, but I don't think that Sinner would come back from a 0-2 score today.

Last year in the semifinal it was up an down for both of them, but back then it was actually Alcaraz' samina that helped him securing the win. After that huge disappointment in the Champions League in football, I hope that this is not going to be a boring 3-0.

Sabalenka lets her emotions get the best of her and that is why Cocco Gauff won in France.

Btw, I don't like this Sabalenka lady anymore after making me lose money when she was doing fine in the first set, and everything changed after the break, and Coco almost stealing the first set from her, terrible game from her, otherwise Coco needed 3sets to get the job done.

Sinner is dominating Alcaraz at the moment though I feel that the match is far from over since Carlos knows how to bounce back from crazy situations again and again and I hope he does it soon since the match is getting away from him.

Djokovic gave a better fight when compared to Carlos which is why he needs to bring his best asap. Let's see if Sinner can end his losing streak against Alcaraz through this final.
