Djoko just retired from the tournament. Elbow injury stops him although Berdych was pretty focused and played great tennis. Same thing with Murray earlier today. On other side Federer play like a machine definitely will go through to semi-finale match. Marin had to play 5 sets which is not good for him but he is favorite for me in duel against Sam. I think that in finale of Wimbledon we will watch match between Federer an Cilic.
Yes. Too bad to see him exit like this. Djokovic’s hopes of winning a fourth Wimbledon title ended in the most disappointing manner. His withdrawal means Andy Murray will stay as world No 1. So Murray is out earlier and now Djokovic, It will be very good to see Federer raising the trophy again. So many surprises in this Wimbledon! Now Federer seems unrivaled and should win easily! Federer had a hard draw and did not even lose 1 set

I really like his strategy of not matching with the powerful Raonic. but instead go for long rallies which we has the upper hand. He is still on track on his 8th Wimbledon with no Djokovic and Murray and Nadal on his sights.

Halep would have reached no.1 in the world if she had gotten into the next round but got stopped on the way by another piece of history for british tennis. Konta now will face a prev champ Venus Williams which should be as entertaining as the Halep-Konta match.
Oh well, But Konta was really good though and I have predicted that she will bring good tennis specially that Britain does not have a champion for the longest time. She is British hope to keep the trophy at home for the time being. It will tough facing Venus but I hope she overcomes it and so that the chances of raising the trophy this year for the British fans will be huge. If Konta does defeat Venus Williams, it will be a huge boost for British fans. Most fans in this generation cannot remember a British woman reaching the Wimbledon finals, let alone winning Wimbledon. Venus Williams is 37 years old and is still giving tough competition to the current players.

The 3rd set tie breaker was out of this world , he was 3-0 down and took 5 continuous points . He will win this Wimbledon and create history again because nobody has won Wimbledon 8 times.

Just read the article that stated that both Djokovic and Murray have been suffering from injuries for over a year. Djokovic with the elbow and Murray with his hip. They continued to play as the issue wasnt major enough but as of now, Djokovic might be on his way on taking a break from tennis for a couple of months and come back fully fit. Just like what Federer did and it worked out wonders for him. Tennis is getting much more physical in the last few years as there's a good mix of big servers and ground stroke players and I guess it would be better if he does take a break. He will be missed but its for the best. New and next-gen players get a shot at smaller ATP events. Which was almost impossible when big 4 participated in them.

The injuries are common for sports players, a few months back Federer also faced this kind of problem, but he took some time, and he came back fully fit. Now in this tournament, all senior players are walked out only Federer is the hope. Tomorrow semifinal matches R. Federer vs T. Berdych, My choice Federer. S. Querrey vs M. Cilic, My choice Cilic. Any guesses?

I want him to win and face Federer in the finale.

I remember that match from US Open where Cilic easily won semi-finale match against Roger (3:0) and won his first and only Grand Slam title beating Kei pretty easy too. Cilic has what it takes to beat Roger, Querry could have the chance to prove that he can do it too.

What a performance from Venus, I am very happy for her. She has had some distressing times off the court in the last 18 months, not to mention her health problems. Yet here she is, at thirty freaking seven! Hard work and class always shine through.

Isn't this a repeat of last years wimbeldon? It was amazing that she beat konta in straight sets. But if she beats murguruza then she will be the dominant womens tennis player with all that has happened to her in the past month off court. And even more mentally tough then dare I say it Serena Williams her own sister being the older of the two. I do not think even her sister would make it to the finals if she had to endure media taunts and the whole public outrage of what had happened of her not being formally charged. Which on itself is questionable and needs to be addressed after the tournament as to why she was not? How does it differ to what Tiger woods was in about the same time as her acquittal (tiger being under a subscription drug while she was not guilty for committing a crime). Preferred treatment for these people because they are high profile sports stars? Hmm.

So far this year in tennis it's been the year for the veterans with Federer winning the Australian open and now has a very good chance at winning Wimbledon, Nadal winning the French open and the same goes for the Women with Venus making the final and has a very big chance at winning. I think it's great to see these veterans winning and it will be a big hole once they start to retire. I'm going for a Venus Williams/Federer double.

Venus won her first Wimbledon title in 2000..... that's a long time ago.

Any guesses? Same as yours for Federer Vs. Berdych, Though for Querrey Vs. Cilic is kinda tough since both players do excel in their own styles of playing. Somehow Cilic I guess have and edge on that game due to the fact he is currently playing at his best *for me* this year. If ever Federer and Cilic would face for the championship then I probably go for Roger, It's like he's still on his prime. His swings are much more deadlier and more accurate than any other of the remaining players.

If those british fans see the actual performance, they really can give up and let go that venus really deserved to win great. I guess that wins at fist of wimbledon brought a good experience which made venus a better player.

I am glad I went for Federer to win the tournament @ 5 before the tournament started , I know he still has two obstacles but I think he is the hot favorite to win right now I guess Querry will cause another upset today by defeating Cilic , lets see . I have gone for Querry +1.5 @ 1.8 .

Plus Djokovic and Murray has exited so he I'm betting that he has a higher chance to win. However, the ball is still round and maybe we can see another upset. But I hope not.

Now Cilic vs Querrey match is going on first set Querrey won and looked like 2nd set Cilic is going to win. This match may go 30+ games this is the good pick.
