-If Federer wins the tournament he will have a gap by Nadal of only 155 points! Federer is the only player who has not lost 1 set in this tournament.
-If Cilic reaches the final he will improve his best ranking going up to third place in the atp ranking.

Best year for him was when he won US Open against Nishikori, yes definitely Cilic play very well at AO but I think he will be hard to beat Roger who is tennis legend. It will be a reprise of Wimbledon final 2017.

That was some great tennis by Federer to come back in the first set being down and then winning the set. It just goes to show how good of a player Federer really is even at his age, he is still able to play at the top of his game. I don't think we'll ever see another player like him in our lifetime and now I really hope he goes onto winning this years Australia Open and make it Grand Slam number 20 which is amazing!

I am having this feeling that the South Korean is going to beat Roger Federer during the semi finals and though i am all for Federer, it is really dawning on me that he might lose and even if Federer wins the competition, there is no way that he is going to take over the World No. 1 position.

I was expected Cilic will go finals and he reached congrats. He gets one an opertunity to win this tournament, but its depend on tomorrow match. If Chung wins, then it will be little comfort for Cilic to win finals. But my expectation is Federer will come finals.

The South Korean are going to prove very problematic for Federer in the game tomorrow but I am sure that he is going to prevail in the end. It’s a shame Nadal retired due to his injury because it would have made the finals very entertaining.

I am actually surprised that Chung has gotten this far in the Australian Open since he is not a really well known player to most.
I remember seeing him winning a tournament late last year against Rubelev. Or another Russian player that had red hair, there aren't too many on the ATP circuit so you can probably figure out who that would be who lost to him in the finals for that Open.
But to get to to the semis and go up against Federer at such a young age is quite the accomplishment and I think Alexander Zverev did it some time last year but lost against Roger in that finals match.
I had Zverev to beat Chung during their last match but lost because I underestimated Chung and so did he apparently.

I know everyone is talking about Cilic making the final of the Men's grand slam but what a great match between Halep and Kerber, that match was an epic battle between two great players. If anyone was deserving to win the Australian Open this year, it would have to be Halep as she has gone through some very tough matches and she now has made the Women's final where she must play Wozniacki. The final is going to be one of the great finals at the Australian Open. I'm really looking forward to tonight's Men's semi final between Federer and Chung, this is going to be a great match as its young V old. Will we see the young Chung beat the great Federer? I can't wait for this match.

I watched that Elise Mertens and Caroline Wozniacki match last night and it was an easy first set for Wozniacki but then in the second she lost 4 games in a row and was looking as if she was going to lose the second set but came out of it even with 12 unforced errors just in that set.It was Mertens first appearance in the semis at this level as well. But did quite well actually because of Caroline's absence in brain function that always seem to happen when she is under pressure. Double fault after double fault didn't make her look like a champion going into the finals next match. And I would be safe to say that Simona Halep will win this thing from what she did last night against Kerber by destroying last years champion of this Open.
So with Chung's first appearance as well in a finals.
I can just imagine him being crushed by the pressure and Federer will just see it as another day at the office in a finals.
He will just play it cool I would imagine.

Federer is the favorite in the final but this time I am expecting Cilic to give a good fight. He is in great physical shape and has had a day more for resting and preparing. Cilic has also come out this season with more aggressive mindset and he already has experience of beating Federer 3:0 in US Open semi finals.

I will wait for Sunday to see the odds the bookies will offer but I believe I will take some handicap on Cilic. He has the power to take 2 sets if not the match.

Anyway we should have a good match this time, I was really disappointed with Wimbeldon final when Cilic played injured and Federer breezed trough.
