You can meet and get suggestion on how to play tennis (!) dircetly from Jannik Sinner during 5 days of cruise navigation trhough the Mediterrean sea!
Of course the price is  enough for a top player but I wouldn't surprise if they will sold out all the tickets asap.
Tickets will 100% get sold out pretty quickly primarily thanks to his female fans if you ask me. I don't really think they would care much about tennis tips and would instead just have fun while posting selfies together along with autographs here and there.

Today Alcaraz defeated by Korda. Unexpected and surprise by many sport commenters (its the second year Alcarz has been defeated early in Miami..)
This surprised me too. It was Medvedev earlier. Am guessing that he is saving his best for the main tournaments coming up which could explain his defeats or it could be something else entirely.

^ ah Korda has been playing quite well lately. He has a new coach so hopefully for him he can make
better progress. He nearly had the job fone against Alcaraz in 2 sets but couldnt close out the match,
which happens often enough to him!

Is it the case I wonder that Alcaraz seems to be more focussed and on his game when its GS time?

Anyway, Medvedev out too, its hard for him ATM to string a set of good performances together I think.

Sinner just beat Michelsen 2-0 to reach the quarter finals. He's now won 28 consecutive sets, winning games without giving away a single set. He's also broken Djokovic's record in this category. I expect him to keep the streak going in the quarter final as well.

After the Big 3, it looks like Alcaraz and Sinner are taking over the stage. Whether they'll become legends like them remains to be seen, but they're already very promising for the sport.

It was a good performance from Sinner, who was motivated to win this game, I was very impressed with his performance and he stayed in the game, didn’t give his opponent a chance of having a hope or believe of defeating him in the game.

Right now I believe that Sinner and Alcaraz are the two big players in Tennis, because the era of Djokovic, Nadal, Federer and Murray are all gone now we are having a different set of players entirely, but both Sinner and Alcaraz are the closest things we have to the legends mentioned above, I would like to have mentioned Medvedev but currently now I’m not impressed with his performances.

Yes and its Sinners chance to clock up some points to get closer to the number 1 spot. Thats coveted
spot will be mostly contested by these to guys for the forseeable future - but they are beatable as has
been proven a few times. My guess is that they have the capabilities to just get better and better, they
are still young lads after all.

On the points ladder they have more than double the points of the nearest number 3 - Novak so they
are just tgoing to continue their dominance this year at least.

I have an outright ticket for Aryna Sabalenka to win the WTA Miami Open @ 2.3
She should have no problem beating Hailey Baptiste in the QF later tonight
Hoping she stays in good form for her next opponent Elena Rybakina/Jessica Pegula

I know that it is still too soon, but I consider these 2 legends already primarily because of their consistency when it comes to outperforming others match after match and the ranking points difference between them and the remaining active players.

On the points ladder they have more than double the points of the nearest number 3 - Novak so they
are just tgoing to continue their dominance this year at least.
Agreed. These 2 are in another dimension these days. On the other hand, Sabalenka seems to be the new Serena these days and is a force to be reckoned with.

No surprises today for Sinner vs Zverev (at least for Italian fans) Grin . In 2 sets Jannick was able to win the semi-final.
Achieve another tournament... could be a kind of record (two consecutive masters in USA Indianopolis and Miami).
Plus he could be close to ATP 1st place.

Well, Lehecka is a very nice player and he showed to be able to reach an high level of tennis (the final is not casual)... however Sinner could be "another level for him". Bookmakers seems doesn't seem to take any risk. Sinner @1.06 Lehecka @11.00

Jannik Sinner, who reached the Miami final without dropping a set, showed his class and closed out the match despite facing a tough first set against Sascha Zverev in the semifinals. Jiri Lehecka, meanwhile, cruised past a red-hot Arthur Fils more comfortably than expected on his way to his first Masters final. Of course, Lehecka has a negative statistic of not having taken a single set from Sinner in their past four matches, and this could prove decisive in this final as well. I believe we’ll see an aggressive, result-oriented Sinner in the Indian Wells and Miami doubleheader.

Thats a sunshine double for Sinner! very hard to do that. He is the first one to do it since Federer
and the first to do it without dropping a set! New records made by the Italian.

Only 1100 points between himself and Alcaraz in the number 1 spot in world rankings but the
tournaments now enter into the clay court season where I would expect Alcaraz to widen the
gap between the two.

Not everyone may know what the Sunshine Double is. It refers to winning Indian Wells and the Miami Open back-to-back. You have to play different climates within a very short period of time, that makes it more challenging. I also learned that recently. Smiley

Sinner made history by completing the Sunshine Double, but even more impressive is his 34 match set winning streak. The previous record belonged to Djokovic with 26. Sinner made it much further. Of course, there's no Big 3 right now so it might be easier. Alcaraz and Zverev seem to be the only ones who can really challenge Sinner. When you're not facing Nadal, Federer or Djokovic, things are naturally a bit easier. Still a great achievement though, congrats to Sinner!

Tennis fans or lovers don't really pay attention to things like that, but there aren't many top players who can achieve a shunshine double.
The Grand Slam and ATP 1000 events are likely to be dominated by these two players. If there are any names outside of these two, it is very possible that there will be unexpected events, injury is one of the causes.

Look Sinner himself has stated before that he doesnt care about records but i'll bet as time goes on and he
(and Alcaraz) keep winning records will definitely play a role because they are linked to points and whether
you keep you points are not and in turn decide your world ranking and that in turn itself determines your
monetary reward and how much sponsors etc. pay you for the exposure.

For sports people their records become a sort of business card where they can command X amounts of perks
and payouts. The bigger the list of records the bigger the demands!

Berrettini has just win against Medvedev with a shocking.... 6-0 6-0
Never seen this before to be honest at this level and a confirmation that this sport can become really impredictible (Medvedev is number 10th of the ATP).
Ah also the clay is another confirmation. It has a bad relation with Medvedev.

Wow - I dont think I have ever witnessed a "double bagel" before especially for it to happen
to a top 10 ATP player let alone a top 20 or 30 player. I believe he got really stressed out
about that. It is true though that Medvedev dies not like the clay courts.

Berrettini though hasnt exactly been performing fantastically well lately, I expect Medvedev
was favourite to start the match. If I was betting on that I would have gone with Medvedev
to win a set at the least.

Despite dropping a set to Tomas Etcheverry, Carlos Alcaraz managed to come back and win the match, continuing his title defense at the Monte Carlo Masters. Alexander Bublik, meanwhile, demonstrated his quality by defeating an in-form Jiri Lehecka in straight sets, setting up his first-ever match against Carlitos. Of course, as talented as Bublik is, he’s up against a phenomenon who can do just about everything better than him. Still, he could give Alcaraz a run for his money.

Yea, he might just take a set away from Alcaraz but even that could be considered a long shot!

I think if Sinner wins this tournament he will go to the number 1 world ranking, but I dont know
what happens if both he and Alcaraz get to the final and Sinner still wins how the points work out?

Fairly hefty challenge scheduled tomorrow for Sinner against Zverev, he should win this tie but
he did show signs of a very slight injury against Machac yesterday?

It should not be able to achieve the first place Sinner even if he win the Final in MonteCarlo. But he is on the track Roll Eyes and counting points/matches of last year this couldn't be an impossible target.

Of course he is not the favorite in this match. Anyway we are talking about the best player in activity, anything could happen.
Against Zverev he has been definitely impressive. He is the 3rd in the rank! There is an abyss between the two players, yesterday the first Set has been a dismal experience for German player.

You are right there regarding Sinner and Zverev - the divide between the number 2 position
and number 3 position in world rankings is gigantic. The top two are so far ahead of literally
every other player.

Alcaraz had a tougher time against Vacherot yesterday but still came through in 2 sets the
odds are 1.90 each!

Each player is 1.33 to win a set, thats more than a safe bet on Alcaraz I think?
