Alex will probably take her revenge here since Anisimova beat her bestie Zeynep Sönmez. This is really an interesting match because if Alex wins here it will make headlines again, another top 10 player beaten by her. She's currently No. 17 now after winning in the R64, so if she continues winning her ranking will keep improving. Also I checked the prize money of this tournament and it says over a million dollars, so this is really a big one.

Eala is the slight underdog against Anisimova in the round of 32. So this is going to be a tough match for her. But we all know that she has her magical run and beating higher rank women's in the circuit right now. So I won't be surprised that this game might go in a 3 set and maybe Alex pushing Anisimova on the brink.

Right now, the game between Swiatek and Sakkari is on-going. Iga losses the first set 6-4, but is trying to make a comeback in the second set leading3-0 already. Sakkari though is serving in the 4th game and up 30-0.

So it's interesting if Iga is going to survived in this match.

And so Alex Eala has lost her match already against Anisimova.

US Open is set to start after a week and it sucks to hear that Alcaraz might be missing out on this one too though it ain't confirmed yet. Sinner, Djokovic, Sabalenka and Swiatek are the main draws while Wawrinka along with Venus are playing too.

Should be interesting to watch rising stars like Eala etc too. On the other hand, we have Kyrgios and Medvedev doing braindead stuff as usual. Crazy that these morons keep getting so many chances again and again.

It is not only Alcaraz who would have to come back from an injury, Sinner has been fighting his knee injury, but was able to win Wimbledon without any preparation. Although I would never disrespect any of the players winning these Grand Slams as you still need to be one of the best in the world to do so, the French Open final between Zverev and Cobolli just didn't have the same quality as it would have when the top two are out there. Those finals can still be exciting when they are close, but you can see the difference in the level.

I remember how Zverev was asked whether the French Open title means the same when Alcaraz or Sinner are missing and the question is justified to a certain degree. Sinner wasn't missing there, but went out in a mysterious fashion. It makes a difference and when you look back as a player, of course you would want to have won against those top two, like it was everyones dream to beat Nadal, Djokovic or Federer. At the French Open Vzerev played Machac, Halys, de Jong, Jodar, Mensik, Cobolli.

I don't know who it was years ago, and I am not sure it was a Grand Slam, but there was an underdog player who eliminated three out of the top five I think, and that is making memories. Ok now I found some information on this: there were only six players ever to beat Nadal and Federer in the same tournament. I think that says a lot and we will probably never see a single player who beats Alcaraz and Sinner in the same tournament, or has anybody done that yet? I don't think so.

Looks like a urine.. lol..

Who are spreading that video, probably Alex fans? Lol.

Maybe because she lost to Amanda even though she was already ahead, but in the second and third sets she somehow folded. Well, Amanda is a good player and ranked No. 10, so Alex is still not that consistent yet. But the good news is that she is already preparing early for the US Open. ( who knows, she might pull a surprise).

I guess there might be some player in the future who defeats Sinner and Alcaraz in the same tournament when they are in prime form without injuries or any other issues though that does seem extremely difficult as of now. Both are absolute monsters.

Fonseca would my bet at some point far off in the future, but that's just a random prediction of mine.

And to think that Alcaraz is the defending champion, but hopefully he can still play in the US Open as he is also a crowd drawer. Speaking of defending champion, in the womens side it is Sabalenka. And in the Cincinnati Open, she was ousted by Bejiek.

Should be interesting to watch rising stars like Eala etc too. On the other hand, we have Kyrgios and Medvedev doing braindead stuff as usual. Crazy that these morons keep getting so many chances again and again.

Yeah, darling of the crowd Eala with his army of Filipino fans whenever she goes, they go. Kyrgios still playing? I thought that he has moved on and retire. The 2026 US men's single draw will happened on August 27. So it's interesting what will be the bracket look like and the potential match up along the way.

The struggle continues, again Aryna Sabalenka was eliminated in the R16 by Sara Bejlek, so I guess Sabalenka is already in serious trouble now. I'm not sure if she has any injury, but these early exits in tournaments she joins are already becoming alarming.

While Elena is still alive, and now she gets a rematch against Swiatek in the QF, hopefully she'll get her revenge this time.

It is totally legal to drink apple cider vinegar, energy drinks or any sports drinks. Lindsay Davenport made a guess on air, but in reality she was drinking Red Bull in a plastic cup because advertisement is prohibited if they are not a sponsor of that tournament and hence drinking from a plastic glass. Alcohol is totally prohibited inside the court, but the rest of the above mentioned is totally fine.

My impression is that Sabalenka is less consistent in the past and loses her tamper quicker than she used to earlier in her career. She is not unbeatable anymore and her opponents got a feeling for it. I know the times when I would have picked her as the tournament winner every time she played, but I wouldn't do it these days. There have been all kinds of rumors, some claiming that she is less focused on her career and more on her private life, and some say injuries could be the reason as she missed a few tournaments this year because of shoulder problems. But she knows best, it is just that she is not as consistent and she loses against much weaker opponents from time to time.

But saying that she is in serious trouble now, I don't think so because she is still good enough to win any upcoming tournament, but that is what I mean, betting on her is not a very safe call.

It's great for Alcaraz, it certainly wouldn't be the same without him. Just to follow up on this topic, but only regarding Djokovic. He has said that he would like to retire from tennis with his national flag. If we read between the lines, that could mean that he might end his career after the 2027 olympics. If that's the case, it will be the end of an era and the departure of the greatest of all time, and the competition for Alcaraz, Zverev, Sinner and the others will be significantly reduced.

She is a different beast at the US Open though, but her recent form indicates that it's time for someone else to claim the trophy. On a sidenote, it's great to hear about Alcaraz returning at last driving up the entertainment factor significantly for many.

His era ended many years ago, but he continues playing since he doesn't know when to give up. Dude hasn't been a significant threat to Sincaraz for a long while now though I do applaud his insane skills considering his age.

Amanda couldn’t have been drinking beer during the match knowing fully well that there could be consequences for that. The beer talks are just a mare propaganda by people who don’t like her and would want to bring down or want her out of the way. There’s no way her team could have given or allowed her to drink beer during the match. It’s just one of those sports drinks that has the colour of beer that she was drinking.

His era ended many years ago, but he continues playing since he doesn't know when to give up. Dude hasn't been a significant threat to Sincaraz for a long while now though I do applaud his insane skills considering his age.

Why would he give up if he can still compete at the highest level? He struggles quite a bit with some minor injuries, but he’s still at an elite level. Alcaraz and Sinner are serious competition, but Novak knows how to challenge them and even beat them, and you know yourself how much older he is.
I have to give him credit for his skills as well, as well as for his 24 grand slam titles. Hopefully, he gets the 25th Smiley

But there are controversies that Amanda is drinking "beer" during the match. But I don't think that is beer though, as Lindsay Davenport says, it could be apple cider vinegar. But I'm not totally sure if that is allowed to drink other than water or sports drink.
And I don't think that it is a beer as well, it's obvious that players are one of the cleanest people on earth as they will have to protect their body as it is their investment. So it might have been apple cider or sports drink.

In any case, I don't think that the fans of Alex are spreading this, yes, I was a fan of Alex being a Filipino. But it doesn't make sense for us to do dirty on his opponents or any of the tennis player. It's that she was caught by the camera and someone wanted to make a big fuzz out of it.

Alcaraz has announced that he will be playing in the US Open.
There was some speculation but yesterday he came out an said he will be playing.
I saw the news and that is a good development, he has missed some games unfortunately for him his been out for 3-4 months, and it’s a good news that he is coming back for the US Open.

I have missed that matchup with Sinner, I can’t wait to see both of them playing in the US Open again, and eventually having a matchup in the US Open Final.

Hopefully Sinner is there as well and hopefully both of them stay’s healthy to get into the US Open Final.

News about Carlos Alcaraz is a huge and massive Development for The US Open.

News about Carlos Alcaraz is a huge and massive Development for The US Open.
That's good news, but this is her first comeback after injury, so let's hope he's still the same player as before.

Now in the women's side, the semifinal match is already Pegula vs Swiatek, while the other side is still in the quarterfinals, Gauff vs Kostyuk and Bejlek vs Keys.

The little surprise Sara Bejlek will probably end her journey in Cincinnati any moment. Madison Keys was a too big number for her. I know it contradicts the fact that she was able to beat Sabalenka, but this happens more often than not when those surprise players have some momentum and I wonder why. It begs the question whether Sara Bejlek was so strong against Sabalenka or whether Sabalenka was so weak. Especially in 1v1 sports it is not always easy to tell what the real reason was.

But Keys of course has the home advantage and that makes a difference in any sport, but Keys has massive support over there. She may now face break balls, we will find out where this goes.

It was the other way around, Bejiek defeated Madison Keys, winning the last 2 to advance to the semi-finals. She will be facing another American in Coco Gauff. So we will see if Bejiek can continue her run or will Gauff.

She is obviously the underdog in that match. On the other matches, It will be Swiatek vs Pegula. It really looks like Swiatek has gain her form already and could get another tournament after winning the Canada Open.
