I manage the people that needs to be managed in the sense of allocating their talents and time to issues that are actually important to IOTA's growth as a technology. But there's no reason to give someone an official title as 'community manager' who keeps track of every question in the community. Like I said: these roles have to emerge naturally, like they're already doing.

Yes, no need of an "official" community manager. But what I saw in this thread is some "good will" guys who tried to calm everyone down (including you) and being accused of trolling (and included in the group of annoying real trolls walking around in the thread).
For sure everyone should leave the drama, but please consider yourself to stay calm and leave it too. If we begin to accuse everyone else of trolling, then the real trolls win.
Anyway I'm happy to see that after a good night, your tone is different today compared to yesterday Smiley

I just say a lot of useless drama that damages the community could be avoided.

When I see communication between Dev and community members, I know there will be lot of fun, when trading starts.

I mean that it looks quite scary. It doesnt help confidence. I predict swings in price based on atmosphere in community.

I donated 5%. I was wary to do so but I understand. If the developers are asking for it, it must be important to the future of the project. I am excited to use IOTA in the future and hope my donation is put to good use.

Great that you donated 5%, but I must ask: why be wary of it?

I have also donated 5% at claiming process. I care neither about the dramas here, nor the behavior of dave or anyone. I prefer to help testing and i believe in the success of IOTA.  Wink

I see we have reached 50%. So far so good!

This weekend i have time to claim my tokens. Of course i will donate 5 % or more!
I hope many others will do the same, so we can reach more than 75% after this weekend.

What will happen to the unclaimed tokens?

I currently have 3 purchases of IOTA in escrow awaiting a usable GUI. I will donate 10% of that amount to the foundation.
