what are the security issues from reusing addresses? is it possible for an attacker to hack your seed if you reuse addresses?
he can guess the private key of the reused address thanks, so we have to use a new address for every transaction? The software with GUI automatically sends change money to a new address after a transfer. |

I was talking about a case when you, for example, accept donations. You can accept millions payments, but after you spend these iotas you should change your donation address. |

I was talking about a case when you, for example, accept donations. You can accept millions payments, but after you spend these iotas you should change your donation address. Ok, thanks for the clarification. So the GUI will move change to a new address automatically, that sounds secure then. |

the network is now live, but devs suggested to play around with test trasactions for now, and to wait until the official release on the 11th for regular and important transactions |

Why shouldn't exchanges just use IOTA? It is technically possible, so there is no reason to not use IOTA for kilo or mega. cant wait to get my hands on it. Do you guys know what units will be used at exchanges, could it be Giga?
