That's true, we cannot expect that we will see the same Murray once he comes back as he might have healed his physical injury but mentally there's still some fear of getting reinjured and he might not be as aggressive as he was before. I hope that they will come back this season, it doesn't matter if after the regular season as long as he will be in the playoffs as Nuggets really needs his service.

Nuggets certainly missed him already, they have some struggle now losing with huge points against a team that is not even a championship caliber. Jokic will remain the main man of the team but we know they are lacking without someone that could consistentyl provide some support to him.

Knicks looked sloppy yesterday.  They went up big in the first on 18 by Julius but looked tired almost out there.  3rd quarter was brutal and was the reason for last year's losses coming out lazy after halftime.  Only one game, need to turn it around next game and stay up in the stamdings.

Bulls game was amazing, they really played a great offense and everyone focuses on that but they played amazing defence as well. By comparison Celtics had nearly 30-35 point 3 quarters if I am not calculating wrong, and they ended up with only 11 points on the fourth quarter. Sure there are times when players have bad stretches but a whole team who have been amazing suddenly becoming bad doesn't happen against bad defensive teams, Bulls really locked them down very well. Aside from the defensive clamp, Derozan played amazingly as well.

The Bulls probably made the best offseason moves of any team.  I really like the team they've assembled and think they'll have their best year since Rose's MVP season this year.  I also think with no LeBron in the east this is probably the best chance they'll have at making the Finals since Jordan left...  Did I mention I like the team they assembled?

Tonight it's looking like somewhat of a boring TV night for the NBA with most of the games not being televised for me.  However, it does seem like a Lakers/Bucks parlay will give you a little return without too much risk tonight.  Might make the evening a bit more palatable.

It looks like most Fans perspective have changed. I remember some players were bashed for not playing after they were cleared to play a few years ago. I think D. Rose and Kahwi were the two famous players who experienced the most "hate" which also caused them leaving the team.

Probably those nights that the players leg are not there, sure they went big on the first quarter, but after that there's nothing left.

Hopefully we can see the Bucks win against Pistons, they still have 3 of their starters out and they are on the losing streak. Not sure though if they can cover the opening spread here, but they needed a win to stop the bleeding.

I guess Jamal Murray might be able to return in January/February, considering that it usually takes other players about 9 months to fully recover from an ACL injury. So he should be 100 percent ready before the start of the playoffs, even if he still has mental fear after injury.

I'm just disappointed a bit as I was thinking they'll continue their dominance in the 2nd half but they don't have the consistency. Rockets are a bad team now, a good team like the Lakers could easily dominate them but they have to understand that the 4th quarter is always the most important quarter in a game. Maybe I just can't forget what OKC did in the 2nd half to the LA Lakers.

That's called trauma my friend. 
I was shocked by that too and then OKC also dominating the Clippers yesterday was another shock although they didn't really win the game. Clippers made a final run to gain victory.
I guess we will be witnessing more surprises early this season especially for teams that has recently rebuilt their roster.
It's only the Chicago Bulls that is making a lot of progress in terms of chemistry like they knew each other for a long time. Right?

The comeback by the Chicago Bull to keep their number 1 spot is amazing where they able to beat the Boston Celtics with awesome runs in the 4th quarter where they were behind by 19 points.

You can't really close your eyes with this team or else you will end like the Boston Celtics.

The Bulls are raging like literally right now at the start of the season. They are now 6-1 and the top 1 overall.
The Celtics on the other hand though choked. They did the same as what Lakers did against OKC. The Celtics lead 17 at one point and only scored 11 points in 4th quarter. 11 points in 4th quarter only :X.

This Chicago Bulls is different right now. If last season the Phoenix Suns improved so much, now the Bulls are the one who improved heavily. The chemistry is there, lots of passers, they have shooters on perimeter and on three point line. If you will see on their roster, they aren't as strong as the ones who has superstars like now like the Lakers or Warriors but their chemistry is what is making this team at the top right now. I just hope that they can continue this kind of gameplay all throughout the season. I'm pretty sure that they will be in the playoffs.

I couldn't agree more that there might be a really great season ahead for the Bulls..

I guess I was more of disgusted or disappointed about the Celtics performance to choke on the big lead than to have paid much attention to how well the Bulls stepped up and took charge.

LeBron tweeting that he's looking forward to playing the Rockets again tomorrow night.  Sort of strange for him to tweet about looking forward to a regular season game.  Especially one against what is very possibly the worst team in the league.  That makes me think he's got a little something planned.  There would be no better team to try and put up a monster game or maybe pull of some sort of shenanigans with Melo.  That or maybe he's just excited that everyone is talking about his reverse dunk from the other night so he's anxious to get out there and do something better.  We'll see...  I may have to throw a couple bucks on the Lakers just because.

He's probably just trying to boost his ego, I don't think he'll be trying to do too much against the weakest team in the league, he needs(ed) to do do that against the Suns... Even after Rockets their next game is against OKC, I guess he'll probably get more minutes off these games, with Blazers, Hornets and Heat all lined up thereafter.

Paul George went off again tonight. He’s starting to look like pre-injury PG13 again. A shame he doesn’t have his sidekick out there with him, but at least he won’t tonight. He had to put up 32-9-7 on 5-8 from 3 point range but a win is a win no matter how hard the Clippers have to lean on him for it. It would be nice to see more wins coming from the Lakers/Clippers/Nets superteams.

He can't do it alone, I think he has the same predicament as Luka in Magic, needs to put up offensive numbers just to be able to win. But when everything went wrong, there's no one to help. It's good though that Reggie Jackson, Kennard and Batum has somewhat scored above 10 points, enough for George to get a very hard win against a 1-6 OKC. But maybe next time, they won't be as lucky as this game.

George has been somewhat carrying the team but this won't work every game right? My guy scored 32 points,  gave 7 assists, and took 9 rebounds. He has been very good both in the defense and offense. Although this match he got the support needed from his teammates as Batum, Reggae and Kennard scored 14, 15, and 14 points. But I hope his teammates keep giving him this support throughout the season.

Yep, that's what I'm trying to say, even Jordan needs someone to help him out to win that championship.

We really admire PG13 resiliency, but since Kawhi is still out, he needed someone very consistent to back him up every game, I thought Jackson will be the one stepping up season, but so far he just had a so-so performance. I'm not expecting Batum to carry the load as well, because he is more of a defense specialist. Kennard, if that 3's didn't fall, he might struggle and can't even score 10 points in a game.

That's correct, they are missing consistency and even Michael Porter Jr. numbers is not that good anymore compared to last year. He became the main man next to Jokic but was now unable to contribute to lightening the burden on Jokic's shoulder.
Aaron Gordon and Jeff Green were a good addition to strengthen their inside defense but the offense seems to be forgotten. They need a player that could consistently shoot and Murray is that man.

Miami Heat won against Dallas Mavericks on road. What a great performance for the Heat distributing the ball, 4 players have 20+ points.

People underrate OKC way too much.

SGA and Giddey are the real deals. I don't think that people appreciate them enough and they are definitely not the worst team in the league by any means.

I think that Clippers will have a rough season without Kawhi for sure. But at the end of the day, this will let Terance Mann, Jason Preston, Brandon Boston etc. grow into their roles when he does return.

Man, this long term injuries really suck. Especially If the injured person is a superstar. Some of them played differently when they return, I remember Vince Carter, and TMac. Though there were also those who recovered and played the same or became even better like Paul George.
The is the reason why I appreciate LeBron's durability and Kobe's passion to the game playing against his injuries. I'm starting to think, it's very important for the rising superstars to train their body to become more durable and less likely to develop a long term injury.

It's an ACL Tear, that has been his problem and I could not forget who started that injury, it's Zaza Pachulia who intentionally put his foot on the landing spot of Leonard during their series, and that resulted to a loss of the Spurs in the series. Good thing Leonard does not commit serious injury when he played with the Toronto Raptors, maybe the load management helped him a lot which we don't see a lot in his current team.

When Leonard is health, the Clippers are a championship caliber, but now, I believe they'll be lucky if they'll make it to the playoffs again.

If I remember correctly, he will miss the whole 2021-2022 season because of the injury that he got in the Jazz-Clippers match-up last year.

George is like the LeBron in Cavaliers where he single-handedly carry the whole team. Now George is on that situation also. He is in a situation that he needs to carry his team without Kawhi if they want to enter the playoffs again. They need a second scorer because George really is carrying a heavy load here in the Clippers. What if he got injured (hope not)? What will happen to them?

They are indeed a different team if Kawhai is playing around. The caliber of this guy who can lift the team up is what the clippers are missing.

No, I appreciate OKC, specially SGA, that kid is something special and could be the franchise player of OKC. It's that they always fell short in the 4th quarter.

Tough expectations for Mann, I remember him exploding during the playoffs. However, he seems can't duplicate that performance as well. He should by now having a break out games since Kawhi is still out. He is needed to perform and help Paul George.
