The Lakers with another embarrassing loss tonight. OKC is tanking and they managed to beat them… Seeing the Lakers struggle against the worst teams in the league like this is a pretty bad sign. I’m not seeing any real improvement. I don’t understand why Dwight Howard is only getting a couple minutes a game either. It seems like they aren’t very concerned with winning at the moment.

That's 2 times a row, I knew it, they have not adjusted very well as they lose to a team that does not have a good standing. I know Lebron was out, but Davis and Westbrook, I think they can handle the OKC, but I was wrong, they lose again.

Yeah, another embarrassing lost for them against the OKC. And it seems that OKC is their kryptonite. Although they still have Davis and Westbrook and then Melo, it is not enough. I don't like the sentence "they aren’t very concerned with winning at the moment", but it's obvious that coach Vogel can't organized his superstars and as if he really just wanted to distributed minutes for them.

I guess it will benefit both teams. Irving does not seem interested any more in playing with the Nets and he stated that he will retire if he gets traded, but if he knows his destination with be the Lakers playing with his old buddy and has a chance to win a ring again, I think he might change his mind.

This is speculation only if that would happen, but until Irving will sort his problem regarding his non-vaccination stance, then it's useless to expect a trade since we might not be able to see Irving for a while until non-vaccinated players are allowed to play because a cure of the virus has been discovered already.

As far as I know, Howard had neck soreness a few days ago. It should be one of the reasons why coach Vogel decided to limit Dwight's minutes on the court. However, it's worth noting that Howard looked more effective in this game than Jordan, although he played only 7 minutes. I think Howard should play in the starting lineup if he is healthy.

Why would the government lift that up if it's created for the good of the majority? Irving thinking he is special that he deserves a special treatment than other people, I think that's wrong, teach this guy a lesson, he only thinks what's good for himself but forgot one thing that he is in a team where everyone should think for the benefit of the team. Honestly, I think this might not happen this season.

So I just saw an ESPN NBA analyst rank whom he believe to be the best shooters in NBA history, his list goes 1-Curry ( unarguable ) 2-Ray Allen, 3- Dirk, 4- Durant, 5- Klay. Curious what you guys think. Not sure I would change the list much myself. I think I’d move Klay up to 2nd or 3rd though perhaps.

Honestly I think the list is short sighted.  Dirk #3 shooter in history no way.  What about years past this is a very current list.  Reggie Miller needs to be 2 or 3.  Ray Allen did have a pure shooting stroke but reggie I think could maneuver way better and still get his shot up silky smooth.  Was this an all time list?  If so I think it's way off.

I also believe that Howard should have more minutes than Jordan. He's been in this team and he knows how the system works.

Coach Vogel might need to adjust with his squad. They are not performing well but he keeps doing the same system over and over. If they continue playing like this disappointment from the fans will haunt them.

Why not try the old Lakers, Let Rondo to be the playmaker while LeBron and Davis do the damage, keep Howard dominate inside and help the interior, either Melo or Russ to add for their offense.. Just saying..

They have Davis and Westbrook, these two are high paid players and the main star of their previous team, so there's really no excuse, they have to understand that if they can't win against non playoffs team, how can they win against strong teams that are consistent in the playoffs?

They should know that to be defeated by the OKC two times, will make them prone to lose their spot in the playoffs. I mean, if they continue to give easy wins like that, they might find themselves struggling to get to the top 8 again. They need to sweep those easy teams and continue to gather wins as much as they can to hold their spot in the Top 5 in the Western Conference because if they continue to lose like that, we will see another Lakers Team again just like what we have seen the last season where they barely make it to the NBA playoffs.

Other teams will think that if OKC just beat them like that, they can do better! This new roster is not different from last year's squad.

Maybe Lakers need to hire another coach who can blend the rotation well, if this team will continue playing like this which we mostly see ball hog and

forcing shots. I don't know if they are following any plays or systems anymore, seems that the coach is just watching them and let the players inside

do whatever he thinks is good for himself.

Yes, he has been listed as probably prior to the OKC game and we've seen that he was given enough minutes to play because of his injuries and Jordan was given the time to play. But we all know that Howard is the more effective center of the time, specially Howard's shot blocking and intimidation in the middle. But coach Vogel can't do anything and his hands are force to let Jordan be the center or at least Davis.

Howard is one of the keys for the Laker's championship in the first bubble, he should be back soon so the Lakers' defense will improve. Bad thing is that, if they struggle on offense and yet they also struggle on defense at the same time, this time could fail everyone's expectation since we are hoping they'll win a championship again with the current roster.

Tonight it looks like we’ve got a doubleheader on ESPN. Bucks and the Knicks in the first game and then the Warriors and the Pelicans. Without Zion I don’t think the Pelicans have much of a shot, nor is that game one is want to watch. Similarly, the Bucks and Knicks aren’t 2 teams I get excited to watch. Curry has been on his game though, so maybe he’ll provide some entertainment.

That is as nearly impossible as it gets from the Lakers point of view. I do not know where the narrative for "Lakers are not doing great" comes from, but they are doing as well as expected. Lebron is injured, sometimes he plays and sometimes he doesn't but he is injured, even when he plays he is not full on lebron just yet. That means we are talking about Westbrook who is a guy who plays eccentric and needs his teammates to get used to him, AD who never really won much by himself at Nola and maybe Melo who used to be an amazing player but we all know how he is now.

Irving will not make a huge impact there, we all remember Cavs period and how they parted with Lebron, so that is why I believe there is really nothing that could be similar to this trade, impossible. Plus Kyrie is not playing anyway, why trade a triple double king for a anti-vax player who doesn't even play?

The trade looks interesting. I think Nets would benefit more since those trio already had chemistry during their OKC days. I also think WB has matured more as a player compared to Kyrie who seems to be the same "rebellious" teammate from Cleveland.

Those are great shooters but I would put up Durant higher than Dirk and Allen. No disrespect to the previous two but I think KD is as good as Steph. The latter just made a lot of crazier shots.

Far from happening. It's just a meme since Kyrie was a problem in Nets. Contrary to Russell Westbrook that the team is losing but he has a big contribution. The Lakers are choked, not just on a single player.

Kyrie's problem in the Nets is more can't be solved easily because it included mental problems by Kyrie lol. On the other hand, the Lakers are not totally doomed because they are still winning. Their problem can be solved just by continuing their good efforts to win.

Maybe at the end of the season, I will agree with you since Kevin Durant is still playing and working on his stat sheets. We didn't see the whole Kevin Durant for now. Right now, he is nowhere in the level of Dirk Nowitzki and Ray Allen in terms of stat sheets because obviously, these 2 greats are now done in career. I follow Dirk Nowitzki since 2003 and his shooting is really crazy. The elevation of his shot is unique. He was one of the dangerous threats at any team since in his shooting form, the ball was well protected. With Durant's height, he can also do the same and we witnessed that during their Eastern Conference Finals with the Milwaukee Bucks where he always nailed a shot when Tucker is guarding him.

They really need to get their acts together now, Westbrook and AD I think should be the one carry the Lakers for now and then Carmelo continue his good game since his days with Portland.

And personally, I don't like the idea of Kyrie going to the Lakers. Would rather stick with Russ at this time. And James and Irving have history together so it might not end good for the Lakers this year.
