He had a 4-year $85 million contract but he will miss whole next season so it was the only choice for Bulls. Knee injuries have career-ending effect. I don't think he could play at NBA level even if he got better after not playing for 2 seasons. The career of a promising young player has come to an end. Bulls have made room in the salary cap, they can get a new player but difficult days continue for Ball.

That's the closest thing that would happen because they cannot gamble on Lonzo Ball anymore due to his injury. What happened is just considered a loss on their part, but that's business, there's a risk in signing big contract with the players and it's just sad a promising player turns out to be a burden to the team. Well, this is not something new though as there are lots of players that is already the same scenario with the Lonzo Ball, both party just have to deal with it.

Dude was basically a walking headline, and he kept at it for a while as well. The dude is only 25 years of age. But in such a short time he has been through a lot. I still do not think that he's going to just retire. It's very unfortunately, but if it is a nagging injuries, then maybe it's going to be career threatening for him. He is not the first player though to suffer this kind of fate. There are even number 1 draft picks who haven't reach his full potential because of his injuries. I guess players know this and maybe everyone is prayer that they won't suffer any damage specially at the beginning of their career.

Again, we still hope that he can get back in playing more years in the NBA than just simply retiring.

The fact that Lonzo played just a while and retired before 30 is a seriously sad thing to see. He was just getting better as well, at Bulls he became a bit better, checking his stats and all it looks like he was a good part of a decent team. Of course he wasn't the main part of it, but he was at least part of a decent team. In any case, seeing young players stop like this is always sad, I remember Brandon Roy as well and him quitting because of his knees, that was a terrible thing to see as well.

I hope he lives rest of his life good enough, he made some good money from NBA to be fair and if he invested them smartly then he will definitely have a lot of money, not sure if BBB ever made him any money, but his contracts were big.

They might need a third team to make the trade happen because it's seriously not enough, Portland remained firm on their say that they are not interested to acquire Tyler Herro anymore. Those three first rounders are fine though but it's still not enough, some rumors are surfacing that the Portland is asking for another first rounder to make it four future picks. Yes, I saw that one. The man is indeed really gifted and no doubt that his skills are solely not for basketball use only because we can see that even in golf, he is still doing his magic and it seems that he is quite interested in playing golf nowadays because we can see him frequently in the field rather than in court this summer.

Him being waved would likely open the door up for a return to Phoenix or Los Angeles on a minimum contract, which I think would be great for either team.

They can always add Nikola Jovic to the list and even Kyrie Lowry will be used in this trade and a few first round picks just to get Dame out of the Portland towards their roster, but I cannot really understand why Miami Heat is making things more difficult to them as if they are the ones who have the upper hand in this trade when in fact they are the ones who wanted to get Dame.
If things go worse and Portland will change their decision and start talking to other teams, they can only blame themselves for that.

Jimmy just having a good time. No matter who's he is dating before the season starts, he's just having for it and that's all. I even doubt it that if they're dating right now, it will be serious.

With his championship experience, he will be a good fit for any team that needs a defensive player like him. I'm just curious why they didn't resign him. Maybe it's because they want to develop their draft pick this year. Maybe another reason is that he isn't that much of a help offensively especially now that we are seeing Centers who are shooting threes as well. He isn't like that, but he's a good defender still. I wonder which team will get him. I would be happy if he will be reunited with the Warriors since they're still in need of a center that can sub out Looney.

The word is "could" meaning is isn't guarantee that he will get that contract.
Another question is that, with how he played in their series against the Heat in Game 7, do you think that the front office will think of giving him that much of a contract knowing that he's kind of unreliable in crucial games like that. I don't think so TBH.

Well, if that happens, that would be the largest contract in NBA history, but if I'm the front office, I will not give that much money to him. Yes he had a big impact towards the Celtics' success in the past years, but that contract is just too much. Maybe if it's Tatum that will request that contract then it would be better.

Yes, just saw the clip on one of my social media accounts, and the fans are delighted and some of the are even at awe. It just really proves how good Steph Curry is, the best shooter we have seen in the NBA.

Good for Lebron to change his jersey to 23 now. I don't consider Austin Reaves though as pure point guard if we are talking about him compare to let's say CP3. If memory serves me correctly though, he actually wanted to do this immediately after Bill’s death and before the season started last year, but I believe it was Nike or the league or some company told him no because they already had so much #6 merchandise ready to go.

Though if looking at how Boston rotating their offense, it's mostly for Tatum and him, the blend and chemistries are already
