Yes, I agree. It is still premature to say that coach Pops will just be with the San Antonio Spurs for just a year specially when Wemby is still approaching his first season and rookie year in the NBA, and it was one of the reasons why the Spurs have convinced coach Pop to extend his contract. Needless to say, this will be not the end of it and coach Pop will soon find his answer again why should he stay for another season.

Wembenyama could end up getting injured or being a bust, cannot control if those things happen. If they did though, Pop might decide it's time to walk away. Spurs really need Wemby to have a monster season. If for nothing else than to keep their best coach ever interested in staying in coaching.

I get what you are saying but I don't think Pop is only gonna stay if wemby pans out.  He has won enough championships to cement his name in with the greatest coaches ever.  Unsure what his motivation is honestly.  They are a young team amd years away from competing for the chip.  Maybe this time around his motivation is to bring up these young kids.  Either way dude is a legend.

Motivation isn't something why coach Pop is staying with the Spurs because he was already approaching his retirement phase but the franchise insisted that he should extend his contract with them because they need his expertise to teach these young ones so that they will be an image of the team for the next couple seasons. Every team has their team pretty much set up and for an MVP you would have to trade like 2-3 good players + picks, 2 months before the start of the season I think that's a risky move.

Never been a fan of JB, I also understand that people want to win, but blaming others to not being able to win is kind of ridiculous. If Embiid aspires to become a champion, he might need to consider a trade. In my opinion, the best team that could ensure a championship for him is the Golden State Warriors. While I'm uncertain about the details of what the Warriors might offer to make this deal happen, it's my current perspective. The Warriors are known to face challenges with height or production in the paint. If they were to acquire Embiid, and with Curry and Thompson still playing, I believe it would almost guarantee a championship.

Of course, for this scenario to unfold, other moves might need to be made, including the possible trading of CP3 and potentially involving more players to sweeten the deal for Philadelphia. Do you think it's realistic?

I cannot deny that I'm also thinking that what if Embiid is part of the problem? We may not see or hear it but I know there is something going on behind closed doors that is why Philly is getting the same problems again and again. If that will be the case, I think it will be much comfortable for them if Embiid will start to ask for a trade because I know that they don't have the guts to trade Embiid without having any requests from him. Not sure why but I also have that impression after Harden's performance last season, thinking that he and Embiid already established
good chemistries and just need additional support from other players.

There should be some penalties on having this attitude, right? I thought that there's already a rule that a player shouldn't say such as transfers vulgarly against his current team. He has gained weight and there's a reason why he did that but having this attitude when the team wants him to be present on the training camp should still make him act professionally. It is not gonna be a surprise if there will be sanctions that will be placed on him regards to his contract if he's not attending practices if should be.

It is true. It's not like only Tim Duncan won the championship. There's Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker that made it possible. So, I want to see the San Antonio Spurs management making a move on who will their partner Wemby with. There are a lot of young stars in the league and most of them are guard so I think that will be an easy task finding the right player to build chemistry with Wemby. But, they have to start it as early as possible so they could gain experience.

Commissioner Adam Silver warned the league already after Lillard saying that he doesn't want to play except for the Heat, and for sure he will take measures for this one as well.

First it was Simmons who didn't want to play after what happened to him, and now Harden. I'm just a bit pissed with this players who they think that they are the authority, and they have the power to choose what they want to do like they're the boss of their own team. Like WTF!!!, and I hope that out Commissioner will not take this very lightly, and put sanctions to players who are acting like this. Overall, I will not be surprised if the Sixers will be forced to trade him before the season starts just because of how he is acting right now, or they will just let him stay with the Sixers since his contract will expire after this upcoming season.

Kawhi Leonard is different though because injuries are actually preventing him to play but if we take that out, we wouldn't be seeing any problems with his name. Moreover, these things weren't even a thing in the past but now they are giving these players more power that is why some of them are already asking for a trade after a single season with a failure that includes them on the equation why the whole thing didn't worked out. But I guess that it became a norm nowadays that these star players will just wash their hands and walk away if don't like how it goes.
